If I was Haleigh's real biological "Mama" my whole world would have stopped. I would have taken every opportunity to plead with the perp, public and speak directly to Haleigh in hopes if she did have access to tv she would see me still thinking of her so that she would know I loved her as we know in some cases the perps brainwashes the victim to make them think their family doesn't care about them and have moved on. Elizabeth Smart comes to mind.

I also would be personally going around interviewing anyone that would be willing to talk with me in hopes to get a break in the case. Sometimes it's what you don't see, that tells the story. Reveals the state of mind in where a person stands on a matter. Sandra Cantu's mom comes to mind. She was heartbroken speaking into the cameras.

Stay focused TM for Haleigh and Justice's sake.

Sad that we have to look at a mother so devastated to see what it actually really does to a parent when your child goes missing. I have shared my personal loss in the past and have to say I would of cleared the Florida swamps and everglades in search of my little one if there was a chance she still could be alive. With this amount of reward money available, not being claimed, also gives clues with in itself as to possible perps. I get even in a queit non confrontational way . I would worry about me more so than the loud agressive type. Funny story I have to share......... No, I wouldn't be celebrating. The only way I woud possibly marry at a time like a family crisis, tragedy would be that I would feel the need for security, wrap my family tighter, get things right as best I could to and for those I still had in my life to show my love towards.

I might would have the ceremony of saying "I do" but my honeymoon would consist of a champagne goblet full of tears. I'm histronic in matters of the heart, some call me ~~PASSIONATE~~~

Crystal closed the Haleighbug center in June, IIRC.

Actually I think that strangers are less likely to get caught because of the reward money because family members are more obvious suspects and they get more noticed because of the publicity than a random stranger who apparently has nothing to do with it. If Crystal or Ron or Marie or Misty or Tommy does something hinky, say, they move out of state or something, all their neighbors and everyone who reads about it on the internet immediately thinks of Haleigh and how it could be related to the crime but if Mr. Joe Black from Jacksonville moves out of state his neighbors do not associate it automatically with the Haleigh case and it probably never ends up on internet news sites.

You have hit another nail on its head IMO. That reward $ is a tool LE has used to obtain information and no one has claimed it. Usually in small towns such as this everyone knows everyones business.

I don't know why , but, my first thought is about the sickness behind the adult who has made this decision in the first place and then that adults decision to allow HaLeigh to watch it. :furious: What captor would do that(not a stranger)?

A captor that would say, see Daddy does not want you anymore, he has a new life- So I am not sure which is sicker the captor or the people who would get married and chance the child seeing it- major toss up-

I hate to even bring this up, but, would perscription meds make you mellow. I had back sugery in Sept 08 and for 3 months I was real mellow or in pain and a little biochy to say the least because of pain. It has been alleged she stole lowtabs (sp) from Crystals first spokes person WK that was before KP. I have also surmised the seizures are related to Crystals past or present abuse of drugs. Cobra has stated that he had witnessed Crystal under the influence and that could be one of the many reasons Cobra was kicked to the curb by KP.
