Interview with principal of the elementary school from yesterday.

@ 12: 45 the prior principal Tom Pannone speaks about DCF.
In his 35 yrs of having to call them he said DCF failed in 99% of the cases they reported.
They would always tell him that they're making changes.

IMO:
If KS is arrogant and stupid enough to want to go to trial I assume that this well spoken caring prior principal, along with the nurse/teachers etc, will most likely be called by the state and hopefully those still able to will testify.
Thanks for the interview, I had to be brutal for Pannone to go back and remember the victim as a child and all their frustration of getting no help for him from DCF.

To me, this sounds like a classic case of a woman marrying a guy with a kid, her hating the kid and mistreating them (To the absolute extreme in this case) and shutting them out of family life, whilst prioritising her own children. Happens all the time, no cult like beliefs, just a cold hearted, evil b*tch. JMO

Like Eliza Baker. It looks like others took part with Kimberly Sullivan being the mastermind. Shades of Gertrude Baniszewski, Theresa Knorr, Lori Drew, Laurie Tackett, Kayla Narey, Karinthya Sanchez Romero, and Angela Lynn Marinucci.

From the arrest warrant.
When KS's daughter and boyfriend arrived at the house fire KS yelled to her to get a screwdriver and take off the locks.
<modsnip - not an approved source>
I keep getting an error message at the link. Is there another place to view the warrant?

A very disturbing story.

i really do wonder, how did the late father and the half sisters not tell anyone?

loyalty to the stepmom? didn’t want their family to fall apart? did they feel complicit? did they think they would get in trouble for not reporting this sooner? did they feel ashamed? were they abused too? were they threatened? did they somehow came to believe this was all okay?

how do you live with something like this? wouldn’t you ever want a close friend or a partner about it at least?

i’m so glad he found a way to get out, and i hope he’ll have lots of support and life will get much better from here on for him.

That can't just be done by anyone. A CASA is exactly what it says which is court appointed so unless there was an open court case by CPS there would have been no way to get him a CASA or GAL advocate. CPS failed this man, not the school.

Also why I believe homeschooling needs to be more tightly regulated. If you have 20 CPS reports made against you you should not be allowed to pull your kid out of school.
Respectfully disagree here. Law enforcement was alerted many times for felony crimes that are already on the books, yet did nothing. If the state didn't do their job for more serious crimes, adding more laws (or punting it to a different bureaucracy) wouldn't have helped, either. This incident, quite frankly, wasn't a failure of homeschooling. This is on CPS. THEY failed. THEY'RE the problem. Had they done their jobs, homeschooling wouldn't have been an issue. You could have CPS called 1x or 1000x, but denying a choice available to everyone based on accusations would be a blatant violation of the essential human right of presumed innocence. There were no convictions, or even any actions or charges.

Okay, maybe this is just me.

Did anyone else notice, watching the video, what ever she was wearing, had sequins? That, coupled with her crazy lady makeup, makes me wonder if she has some issues going on, as well.

I love a good sparkle, but I tend not to wear that around the house while I'm debating whether or not I should give my stepson his second glass of water for the day.

No issues she may have excuses any of this, though.

I was just linking the alternative link in case they had issues with the main one.
It's a bit confusing anyway because the poster replied to a post I made that had an unapproved source (video) which was deleted.
In it the person was reading from the arrest warrant.
btw: Your link is an easier read.

I agree, she doesn’t look all there. Could be some sort of personality disorder as well as pure evil.

from DS2021 transcript above. This man will have so much work to do to socialize and catch up with basic life skills that he was denied the opportunity to learn all these years.
I really hope and pray that a phenomenal team of experts can take him under their care and help him recover and reboot his brain and emotions. I pray that he is given wonderful opportunities and experiences and can live with a wonderful, patient family to comfort him and introduce him to his new life.

In my mind, I can see him being so much improved and so satisfied and eager within the next year or two. I'd love to take him to a beautiful seaside resort and allow him anything his heart desires. He needs joy and new experiences while surrounded by caring new family. 🥰

Pacing all of it is important.

Abused kids and people from cults have both described the extreme fear and paralysis too many choices, too many new things, provoke in someone who has never had choices or novel experiences in their lives.

IMO:
The victorious victim was caught between a rock and hard place with bio mother and step-mother.

Both sisters live near by and one lived in Waterbury house for a while.

When I had read what KS said here I wasn't sure if she was referring to how the firefighter was making her/dog move away from the burning house or if she was referring to VV being put in an ambulance.
KS obviously knew her long-running sadistic, evil gig was up.

“My dog is shaking,” she said before shouting at the firefighter carrying her stepson, “what are you doing?”
