Yes I’ve been following that case as well. Absolutely awful.
Step/adoptive parents seemingly raise the danger level for vulnerable children
IMO

Unfortunately, stats and studies show you may be right. I don't know about adoptive parents, but stepparents are a higher risk to a child, according to evidence linked below. And in fairness, it also cites alt theories:

Reportedly Kim and her husband declared bankruptcy twice. So there should have been plenty of court records.

And the boy never had a name change. So I don't understand why he was so hard to find?

From the article:
"A brother of Kregg Sullivan [..........] suspected something was wrong. Attempts to ask questions were reportedly interrupted by Kimberly Sullivan.[..........]
Kregg Sullivan's brother and his wife eventually stopped receiving responses when they tried to reach out.
A decade ago, [his] concern deepened. He consulted a private investigator, who suggested searching public records for a death certificate. There was none."

IMO:

Again, another relative says that they searched and found nothing. This boggles my mind. Same house for decades. No one off grid. A PI was even hired! I don't understand.

KS to appear in court tomorrow.
A call-out to reporters, just one of you is needed to tell us who was there to support her.
I am curious if her attorney has yet visited the death camp where she tortured the victim in for 20 yrs?

"Sullivan’s attorney’s denied an interview request on Monday".

I sure hope that money doesn't fall into the wrong hands, the way the Turpins' money has.

Hear, hear. I was thinking the exact same thing.

Me too and I also hope that he gets medicaid to pay for most of his his medical bills from now and into the future and anything they won't pay for he at least should have some money.
He needs pampering, mind body and soul;
I had read that a lot of people were volunteering their services, medical and legal.
He could use an angel to direct an earth angel to him to be his advocate and keep track of his living situation and finances.

For me it's quite easy to understand but I know my explanations wouldn't be friendly.
KS the victim's father has a large family that lives in the area.

There's always the possibility that at KS's arraignment today more charges will be added.

Great news, thanks.
I had criticized the judge who let her out on bond w/o restrictions.
The issue I see that may be forthcoming for the state is her house is probably inhabitable so house arrest may not fly.
Though we may find out where she's hiding out.
Still want to know if she had supporters show up with her.

Did KS clutch those pearls? lol
There was someone sitting in the back seat wearing pink who didn't exit the vehicle during the short clip.

I'd like to know who paid her bond and where she's been holed up.

I don't know all the ways one can get a bond besides the usual putting 10 % down.
That would be $30,000.
IIRC: Her inhabitable house is mortgaged to the hilt?
Daughter/s putting up cash and/or one of their homes?
Common sense says no one from her deceased husband's family is close to her so no help from there and I don't think info has been made public if she has any other family?

About the restrictions the state is asking for.
No info on what they are is stated in the video but her lawyers asked for 2 days for addressing them.
Hopefully a reporter will list them before Friday.
Curious if she was employeed before her arrest and if so is she's still working?
Isn't being employeed usually mandated when out on bond even if under house arrest with an ankle tracker?

'Nearly $200,000 raised to help alleged Waterbury captive'

"“We’re told this money raised will go into a fund the victim can access when he begins to rebuild his life."

I hope with all my heart he survives. He was in pretty bad condition when they rescued him. :(

And if he doesn't survive I hope she gets hit with murder charges and her lawyer can't point to the cause of death being smoke inhalation.

Hallaluah!
The state is asking for house arrest and a monitor.
I say stick her in the victim's 8x9 (storage?) room.
I've yet to read anything more about the death camp she calls home and if it's uninhabitable or her insurance company is involved and it's getting renovated from the fire.

I think this is a different judge than the one who gave her bond?
The reporter said it was chaotic at the courthouse.
The victim's biological mother says more.

Like no one cared enough to find out where he was.
Fell through the cracks-- but he shouldn't have. 😢
This case is horrifying on so many levels.
Imo.
