Police are searching for a missing woman last seen bringing a friend home from a local bar.

The woman, described in the post only as 27-year-old Amanda, was at Paul's Sports Corner in Fairhaven early Tuesday, before bringing a friend home in New Bedford. That friend reported last seeing Amanda at approximately 1 a.m., turning onto Coggeshall Street toward Fairhaven, where she lives. Police say her home is only a short distance away.

According to police, Amanda drives a red 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They say her cell phone is off and her family is concerned.

Amanda Lemieux was at Paul’s Sports Corner in Fairhaven prior to bringing a friend home in the early morning of July 01.

This friend lives in New Bedford and reports last seeing Lemieux at approximately 1 a.m. turning onto Coggeshall Street toward Fairhaven.

Lemieux’s home is only a short distance away. She operates a red 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Her cell phone is off and her family is concerned.
