This was my thinking as well. I also wondered if she had a medical emergency since she had that procedure and was supposed to go back to finish. The doctor told the mom her life was in danger if she didn't come back. I thought maybe something happened and he panicked.

Yes, I thought about that, too. That might explain why he tweeted, I will always love you. He may actually have been remorseful.

In any case, he was, at the least, selfish, careless and an idiot. He obviously didn't show much concern for her well-being. If she is no longer alive, then he was solely responsible.

He could have showed some compassion by telling her family where she is, but instead he took his own life.

My personal theory is that he found out she was pregnant and that was the motive. Either a) it wasn't his and he was angry because he was already so possessive and obsessed with her, or b) it was his and he knew he'd get in trouble for impregnating a minor.

I think there is a good possibility that he knew she was pregnant and it was his but was mad about the two day medical procedure she was in the middle of undergoing. Maybe he was dumb enough to think you can stop in the middle of it and it won't "take." I think it's likely he killed her but there's also the chance that she had a medical emergency that he tried to cover up. Very sad.

Ew. There’s not even a law that states a 30 something can’t have sex with a 17 year old! Am I just crazy for thinking there should be?
Still. He had to have known what he was doing wasn’t okay.

The article says she was 5 months pregnant so I’d imagine the police got her medical records to confirm this info. IMO.

With the right type of court order or warrant, LE might be able to obtain some specific medical information.

But based on articles that say she was undergoing a two day medical procedure that could be life-threatening to her if not completed, and that the clinic reached out to her family when she didn't show up for day two, I'm guessing this procedure directly related to the pregnancy or termination thereof and that's how LE knows for sure. JMO
 
Maybe he didn't kill her, she died without the procedure she required? And he just left her somewhere. I mean, he clearly had issues, maybe he felt he'd let her die and so he didn't care about his own life anymore.

How do they know exactly when her phone was dumped?

I think he still could have been responsible for her death if she was in need of immediate medical care and he didn't seek help, especially if he took her against her will knowing she was due that day to complete her medical procedure.

He must have known he was in serious trouble when he saw LE coming to arrest him. He was probably determined not to go to prison.

In regard to the phone, they probably have the data, so they know where it travelled and when it turned off.
 
I wonder if the procedure was to terminate the pregnancy because it was a threat to her health to carry to full term.
He could’ve been enraged by the decision to terminate, even if it was the only option she had. I honestly don’t know I am just throwing out scenarios. Poor girl. IMO.
 
Oh no. This poor girl. I'm afraid something might have happened regarding her medical procedure she was due to complete. The suspect being dead surely complicates things. I wonder if the aunt can be held accountable
in some way. Hoping for a good outcome.

I didn't think at first that these cases could be related, but from what we know, JF (and LZ) disappeared from New Bedford, MA on October 20th and LZ was killed in police gunfire in Crestview, FL on November 5th.

The UID deceased found in Tacony, PA on November 13th, but we don't know how long they had been there. When looking at map directions from MA to FL, you pass right through Tacony, PA. It's not as unlikely as I would have originally thought....

Waiting for more details about the small framed, brown complexion female. Was she pregnant? It doesn't sound like they'd be able to determine that from the state of the remains.

Edited to add- the location the remains were found in Tacony is very conveniently close to the freeway...It appears that it would be easy for anyone to hop off the freeway, find an inconspicuous looking neighborhood to dispose remains, and take the same street the body was found (Disston) to then get directly back on the I-95 onramp and conveniently continue on their way.

This location is about 4 hours and 45 minutes SW of New Bedford, MA, solely using the same roadway, Interstate 95.
