Yes, they removed Bennets webpage yesterday, I am guessing one of those students is possibly a suspect

Just going by my gut response but I found a picture of FM, Male Grad student worked closely with Annie Le. He would know her schedule, has any one else seen him comment on her death?

They had said they found bloody clothes probably from the killer hidden in the ceiling-Who would have a extra change of clothes in the building??? Or did the killer bring a change of clothes??

At my work, you get to wear clothes under your lab coat. So if you take off a dirt (bloody) lab coat, your still dressed.

Thanks. So if it is a student he probably doesn't have to have been on the list posted above.

I did check all those names for criminal convictions on the CT courts site and didn't find anything.

No. My theory is that the area in the basement was an animal facility, in which case anyone with research animals in that facility would have access.

The point I really wanted to make was that it is a bit offensive to imply that the prime suspect would be of the same ethnicity without even the slightest bit of evidence to confirm those assumptions.

Is the speculation about the perpetrator's gender not offensive?

Although I think the wedding suggests an obsessive person with the "If I can't have you.." motive...

What if, the timing was to buy the perp time. Perhaps, he/she thought people would assume she did a runaway bride thus buying a window of time to reclaim & permanently dispose of the body. I cannot believe that it was meant to be a a permanent ditch of the clothing(perps) and body.

Someone working close with her would probably have opportunity to know where she lived etc and commit the crime somewhere else to make it appear more random.

yes it is him

What leads you to that conclusion? At this point, I disagree -- but I could be persuaded. I looked at tons of pictures of Anton Bennett yesterday, and unless he was gotten ahold of by some makeover show, his personal style (neat, preppyish, euro-nerd) is incompatible with the man in the photo. Also, I saw no pictures of him wearing an earring. The cornrow man is wearing an earring in his right ear. Bennett also appears to be much slimmer and less muscular than the man in the photo.

You put targeting killing in quotes -- please don't do that. It is NOT a quote. It is just the writer trying to find a different way to say that it was not a "random act" -- which is the actual police quote. Thanks.:)

It is a quote from the article, not a quote from LE. Thanks. :)

Can someone confirm...

Somebody posted a photo of a Black man with a design on his head (something from biochem) and it was assumed he was the one questioned.

Could this be Anton Bennett? Hard to tell since he is in a different position, except his formal picture does not have the design. His picture:

http://info.med.yale.edu/pharm/faculty/index.php?bioID=3

Not the same as design head guy because bennett has a receeding hairline and that other guy did not.

Yes, every bit as much so as ethnicity......OR for that matter posting the initials of another student based on nothing more than "gut instinct"! All IMO are out of place and inappropriate without any evidence or LE indication that this information is correct.

It makes me think its a professor because of the way they are being so flip floppy and secretive. This is just my opinion. Yales image would suffer a huge blow.

Hi, Razzyberry, I don't think that the Connecticut police and Yale act as a single entity, nor do I think that Yale is exceptionally protective of faculty or students who are arrested.

We have very little data, but I would be surprised if it were an older faculty member. Perhaps I'm wrong.

I've heard it reported on the radio three times now that it is a male suspect.

As for time of death... she would have been alive all day? If so, how was she killed, if no one heard her?
Broken watch? at time of death?
They haven't identified her but have this logged? Maybe it'll be corrected later...
weird though

I noticed the "he", "him", "his" pronouns came out in posts made days ago. It's just the nature of this site. We all know men are evil.
