An Uncasville man has been reported missing and police are asking for the public's help. Antonio Finklea, 37, was declared missing Tuesday. He is 5'9" and weighs 192 lbs.

When searching on NamUs, I came across an unidentified with the same name in the same town. I needed an extra word on whether to reach out to authorities, or whether this seems about right.

His photo and poster is on this, and this is the NamUs article:
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

I'm stuck because the height/weight are different on NamUs, but the Possible First/Last is the same. It also says the body was found in Uncasville, a small CT town where he was reported missing from, with a moderately small population.

NamUs puts the decedant's PMI as 8 weeks, so I'm doubtful this is Antonio. Also, the remains were near complete or complete skeleton. Given that, the height and weight may not be accurate. You can always submit to NamUs and let them rule out.

It also says the body was found in Uncasville, a small CT town where he was reported missing from, with a moderately small population.

Uncasville itself may be small, but it has Mohegan Sun, which is one of the largest casinos in the U.S. Many thousands of people from all over come and go through the area every day.

In your opening post you do have a missing poster added as picture but we need s source link for this information for opening.
However this would also help to determine if this is still an active case (as it is only visible that the silver alert is issued early July).

Is there any indication out there that he may be deceased?

I apologize as I didn't add the source of the photo.

This and this link are where I discovered his information. There is unfortunately no indication that he is deceased or alive, I have tried searching pretty deep and cannot find much. :(

His Facebook status that included Mohegan Sun made my mouth drop on account of the relation to it.

I think he might have been a frequent flyer. I completely agree, it is a very popular spot amongst tourists, but also CT residents. I lived there for over 3 years, which is why this unfortunate case hit a spot.

Here's the WS post for that John Doe -- JD is still available in NamUs. CT - CT - Uncasville, BlkMale UP82150, 35-50, "Tullamore" baseball cap, Jul'21

This has been linked before, but still has good information: Uncasville Man Reported Missing; Police Ask For Help

Antonio Finklea, 37, was declared missing Tuesday (July 6 2021). He is 5'9" and weighs 192 lbs.

If you have information on his whereabouts, call state police at 860-848-6500.

Definitely doesn't fit John Doe's stats.
