Missing Person / Silver Alert

The Middletown police department is attempting to locate two missing parties:

Brigette Wood, a 33 year old female approximately 5’4” 140 pounds. Last seen wearing a brown shirt and gray hoodie

Also Zion Gonzalez, a three week old male, described as roughly 5-6 pounds

Both were last seen in the area of Eastern Drive in Middletown today (5/6/22) at approximately 3pm

I wonder why the three week old only weighs 5 or 6 lbs? May be why the baby disappearing with mother is concerning?

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WFSB) -Middletown Police put out a Silver Alert for a missing mom and infant.

Police are looking for 3-year-old Zion Gonzales, and 32-year-old Bridgette Wood.

Officials say Wood and Gonzales were last seen on May 6.

Police and family say they have not been able to find them.

Official reports say Wood regularly associates with Gonzales’ dad, 40-year-old Juan Carlos Gonzales. Gonzales lives in New London.

Wood has been known to drive a white 2018 Honda Accord. Police say license number is BE68631.

I'm wondering if Brigette had any postpartum issues? Also, what exactly is her relationship with Juan? The article says she "regularly associates" with him, which is a kind of strange way to describe someone she just had a child with, IMO.

Silver Alerts Canceled for Baby and Mom in Middletown

Connecticut State Police have canceled the silver alerts issued for a three-week-old baby and his mom from Middletown. Troopers said the baby was thought to be with his mother, 32-year-old Brigette Wood. They had been missing since May 6 and the alert was canceled on May 30.
