It seems like LE think this might be someone named Robert S Benoit. I can't find anyone by that name listed as missing in NamUs or via a google search. I wonder why they think this is him?

His brother from Bristol JUST died J. Benoit Jr. You can google the brother's obit he died 2/24

He has a living ex-wife.
No idea why he wasn't claimed.

I suppose we can reference here the public obituary of what may be his father, the potential family is mentioned there. The obituary of the supposed brother however strangely does not mention him (neither al alive nor as deceased). The supposed mother is also deceased, but there may indeed be a living brother T. B., and many other relatives.

IMO he may have been homeless and disconnected from his family. Also due to where he was found and the total absence of media coverage.
But I really wonder if LE took the time to contact so many people.
