Norwich police issued a Silver Alert Tuesday evening for a missing 37-year-old man.

Police are seeking the public's help in locating Craig Cross, described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 210 pounds. Police did not provide a description of his clothing.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact State Police Troop F in Westbrook at (860) 399-2100.

Police seek to identify man found partially buried in Norwich park

Police discovered the body of a Black or Hispanic man between the ages of 35 and 50 years old. Upon further investigation and an autopsy, the death was ruled a homicide due to a gunshot wound.

Police are still trying to identify the man who was approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150-160 pounds with black hair with box braids and a goatee or short beard. Police said the man was also missing the top four front teeth.
