CT CT - Doreen Vincent, 12, Wallingford, 5 June 1988

  • #61
I started listening to Faded Out and Sticky Beak while working a 3rd shift job. And have always followed true crime. But Doreen's case took a hold of me from the start.I even emailed SD about the concrete that MV was pouring during those first couple of days when Doreen went missing. I had nightmares about this case so I took a break.I'm so glad to see there is more about this case and will be checking out the Walk Softly Children podcast.

I have been investigating Doreen's case for almost seven years and the police and DA have made it clear they will not be pursuing an arrest warrant or conviction at this time despite the mountains of evidence. My podcast, WALK SOFTLY CHILDREN (previously called "Sticky Beak") is a deep dive investigation into Doreen's life and disappearance, as well as the police investigation into her case. I have just obtained a ton of new records and audio from the police under the Freedom of information Act and am releasing new episodes as we speak - Season 4! I hope everyone will listen. I am here to answer any questions people may have, and thank you for your interest in Doreen's case.

Here is the podcast link. There is also a FB group I encourage everyone to join. Walk Softly Children
At one point, they denied your FOIA request due to the likelihood of upcoming action in the case. Is there any likelihood of them releasing the case file to you now that it's clear that they will not be pursuing action?
