Wow, I have no words for what this man did. Thank God for the passersby’s return to look for and find Liam. Prayers for his full recovery.

I can think of several reasons, most start with impaired driving. I am pretty sure that drugs or alcohol are involved in this incident.

when he finally stopped, it was only to push him off the roof
he pushed an already injured kid off the roof
throw away the key

According to an arrest warrant released on Tuesday, Rivera knew he struck the victim but didn’t want to go to jail because they’d take his daughter away.

Three other people were in the vehicle, including its owner and two children, the warrant said.

He did this with multiple kids in the vehicle.

I hope they lock this man up for a long time. He is dangerous. No soul, no conscience and no empathy. I would not even compare him to an animal. Animals are better than this.

You stated that perfectly, he's not just a danger to society at large. But I also have questions about the vehicle owner's part in all this. But perhaps she didn't have a cell phone at the time.

NO children should ever be allowed to be within five feet of him - let alone be in his parental care.

Any update on the young cyclist? Is he still in critical condition? TIA Praying for him and his family.

May the victim make a full recovery and Rivera spend a long time in prison and then never drive a vehicle again.
