MERIDEN — A Silver Alert was issued for a missing local teen Tuesday night.

Ian Melendez, 14, was last seen on Tuesday. He is described as five feet, four inches tall, 115 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a durag.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact the Meriden Police Department at 203-238-1911.
