From reading threads concerning pedophiles, I realize they all think they are justified in what they do. The concern with this, is that due to the fact that they think they are justified, they will NEVER change! (Even though most have become adept at hiding their sick urges, through coersion or murder.) This makes pedophiles dangerous in other ways then drug dealers, murderers, or thieves.
As to every adult thinking about having sex with children. That may be true. But the average person would think about this and get physically ill! They could never condone the behavior or understand how a pedophile could enjoy these acts. They are disgusted and would like nothing better than to condemn the guilty parties.
That being said, what do you do? Change laws. Lock these
SOB's (male or female) away FOREVER! Never let them back out in society and give them a chance to hurt another child!!
Remember that OLD man that just got let out of prison. He is in his 80's I think and is NOT reformed! Life imprisonment, without the possibility of parole, in the GENERAL prison population! Case closed. If the murder of a child is involved and has been proven through DNA evidence, death penalty without the possibility of appeal. Do we live in America, yes. Is it time for reform - and for murderers/pedophiles to be punished according to the crimes they commit? YES! Keep our children safe. We need to lead the world in the safety of children, with a zero tolerance pact!!
