galvino, I was looking all that up last night about these two and I literally got sick. Thank goodness there's people that dedicate themselves to bringing down these pompous, ignorant, vile monsters. I posted it so people can be made aware just how prevelant these almost club like groups are. It freaked me out just how open they are about it. Google that screen name Aztram and man it just goes on and on. Hopefully LE will catch up with all the other fools posted and communicated with them. Thing is did NOT the mom of that little baby see what a pig pen that apaprtment was? That alone would put you on alert. Maybe she was in on it????????? Who even knows anymore?

A little three month old baby girl and the mother was seen dropping her off various times. There is no way that the mother of this baby couldn't know what was happening to her baby girl. Probably being paid for the use of the baby and that money probably bought her dope. That would be my guess. Who in their right mind would leave a baby in that filth much less not call 911 when you changed her diaper. Those two perverts and the mother of that baby need to go away for a long long time. LE also needs to find the other children that these perverts have used for their porn. Horrible

Harold Spurling's accomplice, Jeffrey Brisson, was sentenced to 45 years, if that is any indication of what his sentence will be. I find this dude's admissions during sentencing more than a little disturbing.

NEW BRITAIN — A prosecutor told court officials Friday the 45-year prison sentence and special parole imposed on admitted pedophile Jeffrey Brisson would protect children for the next three generations.

“This is the most vile, disgusting, alarming and horrifying case I have ever handled or seen in this court,” Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Paul Rotiroti told court officials minutes before Brisson was taken off to begin serving his sentence. “We need to keep him separated from society.”

Brisson, 30, was arrested Jan. 30, 2008, along with his roommate Harold Spurling, 40, after officers serving warrants for their longtime molestation of a teenage boy uncovered a child pornography stash that included videos of nearly a dozen area children.

The pair was found in their apartment with a 3-month-old girl who had been sexually assaulted by Brisson. Police also found a computer encrypting a video tape of Brisson molesting the child.

The resulting search of the pair’s computers kicked off one of the largest child pornography investigations in state history, officials said. The city’s digital evidence unit, under the direction of Lt. James Wardwell, a nationally recognized computer crimes expert, recovered dozens of videos of nine other children being molested by the pair over the course of several years, according to the warrants issued for their arrests.

Brisson admitted to the court Friday he was a pedophile with a compulsion that can’t be stopped. He also likened society’s fear of pedophiles to long ago fears of African Americans or gays and lesbians and said all adults have thoughts of having sex with children.

“We punish what we don’t understand,” Brisson said during a several minute tirade against police, society and the press. “Then when we’re released it’s to unjust regulations and stipulations.”

Rotiroti described for the court record sex acts Brisson committed on the children who varied in age from 2 years to 3-month-old babies to the 14-year-old who police said had been their victim for eight years. The mother of the 3-month-old told police she allowed the men to watch her child because they offered “free babysitting.” She was later arrested on a charge of risk of injury for leaving the baby in their filthy apartment.

I think it's pretty clear that Brisson and Spurling were very disappointed to be caught in the act but that they don't think they did a thing wrong. "Society just isn't ready to embrace their actions." I wonder how Mr. Brisson is faring in prison.

I also noticed in the original article, this statement:

"Gary Kleebatt, a spokesman for the state Department of Children and Families said the baby was medically examined and sustained no physical injuries."

Excuse me? A three month old infant brutalized by a full grown man and no physical injuries? I fully understand that little ones' bodies are pliable but this is hard for me to believe. Even if it's true, this child was injured in so many other ways. Was this child taken into protective custody?

And once again, we see a case where pedophiles are not gender specific. We read so often about pedophiles' target victims and how size and body shape specific they are. Well that theory flies in the face of this case and of Dr. Bradley, our pedophile pediatrician.

The fact that the apartment was so deplorable would be enough to question why in the great Lord's name people would leave their kids there. Who knows? I agree that it's hard to believe that a three month old didn't receive some injuries from being molested (especially by such a large man as this). I hope and pray that the three month old will have no memory of what happened to her. I worry about the 14 year old boy. He was being abused for EIGHT years. I hope that he'll be able to get the help that he needs and live a full, happy, and "normal" life. So many people that are sexually abused end up doing the same as an adult. I hope for better for this young man. Also, I'd like to know who this young man belonged to. Obviously his mother didn't drop him off for the "free babysitting".

The internet, as glorious as it is, has created an environment where men like these two can find others like themselves easily so that they feel normal....their behavior which may be hardwired to them but which is not hardwired in humans, IMO, is decriminalized. YUP, they think they are martyrs. Have fun with that in the prison system.

I have known many victims who were sexually assaulted/molested as children who never, ever touch a child...so I am hopeful that the poor boy will find the world to be a safe place with the appropriate help and that the crimes committed against him are not perpetrated against others. I would love to know if one or the other of the perps was related to the boy and who in their right mind left him with them never knowing he was being brutally abused.

At the end of the day, certainly in this case, it is critical to know the people watching your children in all ways...no excuses. And believe me, I get the kind of poverty level that might make you tempted to accept free babysitting so you can work etc....

at least they are straight forward in telling the world that they would, essentially, commit these crimes again. What stuns me is accepting a plea deal that does not ensure they stay away forever. Yup, the kids should not have to testify, and I am sure the parents and prosecutors were adamant about dodging that experience for the kids, but what is the greater good here if these men are eligible for parole after 10 years?

I fail to see how the persecution of two consenting adults participating in a same sex relationship and an entire race being subjected to slavery and mistreatment for centuries is anywhere near similar to forcing your will upon and raping an UNWILLING child. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE SAME THING, JEFF, NOT EVEN CLOSE!!

According to Jeffrey, I must be a part of the minority because I can honestly say I do not have "thoughts about having sex with children". Where in the world would he get this idea? Stupid rapist.
