Sorry if this has been asked & answered … how does this work in order to get Jennifer’s family, friends and supporters back to the courthouse to hear the verdict? They wouldn’t be notified if the jury was sending a question note to the judge, would they? So someone, presumably the judge, would know that a verdict has been reached and then does the court notify the public? How much time were they given to get back into court to hear the verdict? If Gloria was in NYC at home, would she have had time to get to court to hear the verdict?

And I was trying to hear any noise from the gallery when the verdicts were announced. I didn’t hear any kind of reaction of any kind, either from Jennifer’s supporters, or from the t’s.

And … what was the small black device that was on the table in front of MT? A cell phone? Thought hers looked more like an iPhone or android.
I saw the black box too - think it was her translator box that her headphones plugged into.

Does anyone here have access to CT Insider?

Thank you afitzy! Interesting at the end the reporter says that the D is complaining about a 6 person jury (due to the charges?) instead of a 12 person jury. I thought I read here, when people were wondering why a 6 person jury vs 12, that MT had a choice and opted for 6 people. ?? moo

It was always my belief that FD shared his purloined copy of the family with MT and her family at the Greek Easter celebration at the end of April in 2019. MT or a member of her family could easily have had a D "hard" copy from that time frame, IMO.

Good for you for catching that interaction between MT and attorney Bowman. I also don't know this as a fact, but early family postings on twitter by the Troconis suggest they believed the court sealed family study was the key to MT's innocence.

SMH...I don't think the Troconis family has been able to acknowledge that the evidence of the phone manipulation on May 24th and other evidence indicates she's providing an alibi for FD...and thus she is guilty of the conspiracy charge.
The Deluded-Troconis family -
They are hanging onto the thought that that stupid report, says something that makes JF murder self defense?

I think they just want to shame JF, take her down! For possibly daring to “less healthy” than their darling Michie.
That report means literally nothing, in the FD-MT murder plan, the Herman report was supposed to support idea she was going Gone Girl.

The Troconis can’t really still think Jennifer ran away? Can they?

I will concur it’s a good podcast - but it takes a bit of patience to appreciate his style.
Yes I totally agree. Very different. But he really grew on me and always seems very informed and “serious” as opposed to other podcasters … which will remain nameless lol.

As usual Heavy is 'on it' with the answers to everything we need to know about MT

I'm laughing reading this Heavy article as they were the first one long ago to refer to MT as FD "paramour" which I can now recall folks here laughing about at the time---everyone else in the Media deferred to use of 'socialite' when it was clear she had no visible means of support other than boyfriends or baby daddy etc. for years.

For the folks asking about MT college info here you go.

I was marshalling my resources shortly ago in a different matter and ran across this article.

MOO
I had to zoom in on that one picture where she is sitting down on a metallic chair with a “dew” covered sidewalk . For a minute I thought she was showing off her ankle bracelet - then I realized it was those shoe covers she was selling!

There has been speculation that MT will be bailable pending appeal.

Not so fast. Just because the Judge granted bail before sentencing (the 2 month period), doesn’t mean the Court will grant her bail pending appeal.

The “final judgment” of the Court is not final until sentencing. The length of her sentence is not yet known and can only assessed in general terms for purposes of the interim $6M bail.

Once she is sentenced, there is a new dynamic in the mix - the now known length of the sentence. There is a heightened risk to flee once you are found guilty and are facing many years in jail. And - the flight risk for a felon on appeal of a 20 year sentence is less (although not trivial) than the flight risk for someone facing 50 years - potentially a “life” sentence.

Bail pending appeal is less likely for violent crimes.

Bail pending appeal is less likely if there is a risk of obstruction- intimidating witnesses and destroying evidence. When one has been convicted of tampering with evidence, who also faces a significant sentence, is hardly the case for the Court to use its discretionary authority to grant bail pending appeal.

Horn will argue she isn’t violent and showed up to everything the last 4 years. Well - she wasn’t facing a possible life term until yesterday, so it’s irrelevant whether she showed up to court before she was convicted.

I predict no bail pending appeal because she has always been a flight risk - but is now even more so; she has strong ties to Argentina; she’s convicted of serious felonies; her propensity to be an evidence tamperer while on appeal is high given the nature of the crimes she is convicted of. She will probably be convicted of Contempt of Court when she applies for bail on appeal which really is the nail in the coffin imo. Her house arrest residence would likely be with her family who have means, resources and an incentive to help her flee. The mom is not trustworthy in the eyes of the court to obey the terms of MT’s bail having potentially violated the court’s order and being in Contempt of Court herself.

I just don’t see any factors in her favor. Only big red flags.
I agree 100%. You could tell by the judge’s tone yesterday that he’s about sick of the defense’s BS. She ain’t going anywhere after sentencing, imo.

I agree that the show made SM appear fair and balanced and I think that's only because Dennis Murphy controlled the narrative of her new snippets. That had to be on purpose because left on her own, she would've continued the only reporting we've seen from her so far which is to defend a now convicted felon.
JMO
Yes. And maybe NBC Dateline Comcast Universal needs to hear how slanted, skewed, and biased the reporting seemed to be from SM? It is evident as others have already stated.

IMO I sure hope that she is not being “preened” or prepared for possible eventual use or substitution on the eventual shows.

Thank goodness IMO Dennis Murphy carried the storyline. MOO

You should checkout his facebook page
Post after post after post like a scrapbooking of a massacre. And vilifying Bowman.

BBM -

Unless they have a plan to get MT to Argentina where extradition can be difficult.

One might say the Troconis family would have a lot to lose in that case but blood is thicker than water.
I wonder if the court ever retrieved her passport from Horn.

She supposedly graduated from college with a degree in psychology.

I don't recall where this reference was sourced and I cannot marshall the personal resources at this particular moment to look.

But, its been posted many threads ago so if you want the name of the university it is on WS somewhere. The indexing system on WS is above my pay grade so may the force be with you if you choose to search it out.

MOO
I thought during pre-trial hearings her education level post high school was stated as having a Certificate in Equine Therapy.

If she had a psychology degree, would she have 67 questions about BPD?

Of course, it could never prove her innocence.

The report didn't carry around Fotis' phone and answer it.

The report didn't drive frantically to and from 80 mountain spring, grabbing Brien stained paper towels and throwing them out. The report didn't set fires and flee 4JC- although I suppose it is possible it could have helped fuel one of the lonely suspicious fires. The report didn't hide PG keys. The report didn't open a door to obscure hiding evidence in a storm sewer.

Pointing to the report as proof of innocence is just ridiculous.

And I don't think MT is that dumb to think it does prove her innocence. I think she believes she can manipulate public perception with it.

Similarly, I don't think Petu is stupid enough to think that Michelle's innocence would be clear if police only spoke to her (against her refusal to talk to them) and clarified a stop during Michelle's "ordinary" day that has never been in dispute.

They are not dumb. They are using what they know to be lies to shape public opinion, and to manipulate the public to looking away from relevant facts.

I no longer have access to her linked in but:

“Troconis went to college in Venezuela, according to her Linkedin profile. She graduated from Instituto Universitario AVEPANE in 1998. She then completed a degree in general psychology at Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1998.

She also spent a year studying at The Cheff Center, a therapeutic riding center in Michigan.”

Reliable?

Wow…… that is interesting! So the defendant MT, convicted this past Friday in CT in association with the death and disappearance of JF, and that dated the now deceased FD, has a degree in general psychology?

I shall stop there without saying anything else. And not because I am at a loss for words. MOO

I’ve learned over the years to take all media with a grain of salt. Those who championed MT’s innocence were either too lazy or not intelligent enough to follow this very detailed and successful prosecution. I hope the judge throws the book at MT. She could have stopped this murder, with one phone call, but chose to participate. Her hands are bloody too.

Oh can you link that!

This verdict is such great news. I’m thrilled. When is sentencing ya’ll?
Hi! Haven’t seen you in ages!
