I think some people just think they are better than everyone else (untouchable) and just take their chances.

Yet, I’m thinking shouldn’t the attorneys advise against posting (exposing) this document in court? Quite unprofessional IMO.

I dunno. Here, I can't honestly say I believe JLS failed to counsel MT on the Court's expectations of a defendant's conduct during trial. IMO, I just think MT (and her posse) don't believe rules apply to her.

JLS worked his tail for MT, and what a slap in his face for her to be charged with contempt while seated between her lawyers. It makes him look bad and we're now questioning his integrity! Personally, I'd want nothing to do with her. I'd be done. JMO

You would think so, but I am finding it quite hard to believe that Audrey Felson, at least, could claim no knowledge of what MT was up to, since she was next to MT, and was looking right at that screen. Could someone with such a detail oriented job, and so much at stake really be that unobservant? And don’t forget how hard Schoenhorn tried to get that document admitted into evidence.

Yes, and so very true. As one of our ardent earlier followers tended to suggest - and I unfortunately agree - seems we best lower our expectations as to anything being done with the former defense counsel JS and AF on the sealed restricted Report display. And add to that, lower expectations to subterranean levels IMO.

Most unfortunate if the case too. Why IMO both JS and AF are not being (or have not been investigated and questioned) and brought into court under oath to testify on the record is beneath me? Appalling lapse in ethical and legal investigation and accountability. And it will be most unfortunate if the CT court, judicial system do not hold any violating this to account. And one would hope that defense counsel JS and AF were also reported to the CT Office of Disciplinary Council for their conduct and formally requesting investigation of it. (Including also the multiple attempts IIRC that both defense counsel made to introduce the sealed restricted Report (or variants of it) on the record, in court! MOO

I'm also a bit shocked that there is still a Fundly account for her appeal. They have raised 12K (hoping for 100K). I'm shocked that Fundly allows donations for a convicted murderer.

Didn’t they take that down at one point? Did they roll the previous donations over from the Fundly for her legal defense while the trial was going on? It really is outrageous; I don’t think GoFundMe allows it (correct me if I am wrong). I am relieved that they have only received $12k, though. It says a lot about how little support there is in total for her.

Very interesting article. Thanks for posting. Sounds like this Judge either has no self control, lost his mind dealing with the CT Family Court system or never should have been appointed in the first place. I'm voting for all 3! Apparently this clown is a Gov. Ned Lamont appointee. Enough said imo.

BUT, I do very much applaud this out of control Judges efforts to jail a dead beat dad for not paying child support. Not done in CT enough imo.

IMO if Judge Heller had similar standards for payment of child support and financial disclosure for FD and had jailed him when he initially did not comply with financial disclosure requirements in Year 1 of the divorce action OR jailed him 2 years later when he again lied to Court about his finances its quite possible that JF might be alive today imo. The FD lying and lack of compliance imo wasn't dealt with harshly enough and I believe FD just got hit with a single contempt charge while in Family Court but there was no fine and no jail time unfortunately. Judge Heller imo never applied the 'stick' to FD and so he made a complete mockery of the Family Court, never paid child support and all the while he and his attorneys actually had the temerity to lie on the stand and in the documents submitted to the Court regarding financial disclosures.
