GUILTY CT - Jennifer Dulos, 50, deceased/not found, New Canaan, 24 May 2019 *ARRESTS* #71

I'm reading it. In the preface (beginning), he said she owned it and was purchased by her mother for her. However, later on, he said it was a rental. So not sure if that was just a mistake.

I had a hard time putting this book down. I'm not finished yet though. It is very well written. I'm just getting to the Michi part.

I also think I'm going to buy one to send to library in Niantic.
Wait, now he says she purchased the home AGAIN later on in the book after stating in the middle that she rented it... Is there something missing here? How can he make this mistake? Just a little confused. Is anyone reading this book?

Just received notice that KM has an upcoming court date. WoWeee! Disposition hearing on June 13, 2025 in Stamford. Okay!

I logged on just to share the same email message received from CTSAVIN!

I first checked the court docket and should note that this upcoming "deposition hearing" slated for June 13 is nowhere referenced on the docket-- which remains: On the Trial List, To Be Scheduled.

Per Google AI:

In a criminal case, a disposition hearing in Connecticut typically refers to a legal proceeding that follows arraignment and occurs before or instead of a trial. Its main purpose is to determine how the case will be resolved, which could involve a plea agreement, dismissal of charges, or scheduling the case for trial...
What happens at a disposition hearing?
  • Plea Bargaining:
    .Opens in new tab

This is a common outcome. The defendant may agree to plead guilty or no contest (a form of accepting responsibility for the crime) in exchange for a reduced sentence or fewer charges.

  • Dismissal of Charges:
    .Opens in new tab

The prosecutor may choose to drop or dismiss some or all of the charges against the defendant, potentially due to a lack of evidence or other reasons.

  • Trial Scheduling:
    .Opens in new tab

If no agreement is reached and no charges are dismissed, the case may be scheduled for a trial.

Since Gloria Farber has said she’s not interested in having a deal made in order to know where Jennifer’s remains are located, I’m not sure he has anything to offer. I’m sure he knows where Jennifer is and what happened, but he doesn’t appear to be forthcoming or cooperative in anyway (so far). We also don’t know all of the facts the state has on KM, do we? Anyhow, I hope this moves forward and resolves quickly.

She100% rented the house. It was owned by Arnold Karp a local developer in New Canaan. IIrc he changed the street number of her house on Wells Ave and sold it
Rich Cohen the author lives closeby in Ridgefield.
The mistake is just sloppy journalism
He wrote those airmail (online pub /Graydon Carter)articles also iirc - it was a series
IMO
edit to add - I will prob read it

It was actually a pretty good book, if you take some of those incorrect statements out-that don’t materially change anything. The one I had the most trouble with, though, was where he said MT was married to GB, and they divorced. No mention of her actual ex husband, and her subsequent need to prove NB’s paternity because her husband didn’t want to get stuck paying for the child. And-wasn’t she threatening to go to GB’s wife about their affair at one time? It may not materially change the story, but it is important for the reader to know just how voracious MT actually is, and how this may have contributed to Jennifer’s murder. I listened to the book, and always enjoy listening to Edoardo Ballerini.

I was looking at the new MT Insta account (or maybe it’s the old one refashioned into “free Michelle Troconis”) and on one post they’re trying to justify why MT was burning fires at 4JC all afternoon on the day JD disappeared. There were lots of photos of fireplaces- their mistake- because I had a sudden flashback to all of the fire/fireplace images that MT would post on instagram during the summer of 2019 when she wasn't allowed contact with FD- we would speculate endlessly about them here and what messages she was surreptitiously sending to FD via IG, and some fire images had very rather gruesome images of spits and meats, but there were just so many photos of fires and fireplaces. We were sure that had to do with the disappearance and were a way of connecting with FD after the fact against court orders.
I had forgotten those even during the trial when they showed the smoke on the webcam every time she returned there that afternoon.
She would also post a lot of pictures of birds, flying in the sky, at that time. Wonder if/how that’s connected. Were they planning to “fly away”? Is there a bird sanctuary or something else related that’s part of the story?
But now all of her fire and fireplace images makes total sense. It’s surprising that in trying to defend her they would post these images that would trigger such flashbacks…you can see discussions of these images back in the archives here.

Fires…was the instagram showing fires a way to tell FD that she knows how he disposed of Jennifer’s body (at MIRA)? I don’t doubt that she was sending him messages that way.

Never ever expected those fires at 4JC to be discovered.

I still don't know what all she was burning except maybe the original alibi scripts, they ones they used to choreograph the day of, ones that had to have existed. What else could she be burning? All of FD's divorce papers would be my guess. She may have taken that task upon herself, happily. White smoke, so it was burning clean, whatever it was.

But I agree, she was communicating with FD with those images and probably thought she was quite clever.

I have some other words.

Sly. Slippery. Deceptive. Conspiring. Guilty. Convicted.

JMO

I still have several screen shots of these. I had always thought these were somehow tied to them both. Even the post of the Gaucho... made me think of Fudge. All so sickening if in fact was true. (I believe it was).

MURDER IN THE DOLLHOUSE

I just started the book

-He does say Jennifer bought the house with the help of her Mom at 69 Welles Lane ( now changed to 71 Welles Lane )- I checked the property cards in NC to make sure about the house.
The property Jennifer lived in has been owned since 2005 by Oak GLen LLC - ( same address as Karp Associates in New Canaan).
- Question - the author wrote that Jennifer was married to Nicole's father
I dont ever remember that Michi was married to Nicole's Dad Gaston Begue the Argentian skier / Casto ski resort. I remember she was his marketing director for like eight years and then moved to Miami. Nicole was conceived if IIrc in Miami on a kind of one night stand when he was in town for business or something. She did not even tell Gaston about Nicole for like 6 years.
Am I misremembering ?
She was briefly married but to a different guy - maybe a race car driver who was injured in a wreck/fiery crash?
I am only a few pages in and feeling a little disappointed that the author did not do the research, but I will reserve judgement until I finish.

BBM. I think you meant "the author wrote that MICHI was married to Nicole's father" (not Jennifer was married to....).

Yes the beginning of the book states she bought the house on Welles, but later it says she rented it. Then I think he referred back to the house as being owned again. Also, yes, she was never married to Gaston. I agree that there are some mistakes, but overall it was written well. I think I'm going to read the book that was written by the man that dated Jennifer, and told the story of the break-up between them both. He used a fictitious name for Jennifer. Never knew about this book. I'd have to refer back to the book to get the title and author. Overall, it was pretty well written, however Michi's IG is all over the book, and how it states she is, once again, Innocent. I didn't get the impression that anything in that book portrayed her as innocent. Would love to know your thoughts on this.

@Cloudydiamond I so appreciate your feedback - I will weigh back in after I finish the book.
I would also love to know what the other book is by the ex boyfriend 💕 💕

It didn’t; it merely didn’t portray her as the she-devil that we know she is.

It's still for sale - has been on and off the market since 2019.

Agree, that bothered me too but overall the book is an interesting read.
