@Niner

Troconis is represented by Darnell Crosland who has filed to have the contempt charge dismissed.

No ruling was made on that dismissal on Monday as the state prepares a response that is due May 7.

I always wondered what was provided by his phone provider. You’d think if it was significant, they would have put him on trial, wouldn’t you? But still-there ought to be something. Unless he was carrying around a burner phone for a couple days.
AI Tells Us:
"While burner phones offer a higher level of anonymity compared to regular phones, they are not completely untraceable," Aggarwal says. "Burner phones can be traced by law enforcement agencies using various methods, such as call detail records (CDRs), location tracking, surveillance and Stingray devices."Feb 23, 2024

If the new prosecutor is Paul Ferencek, the state is in good hands. I marvel at the inability of the Troconis family to understand simple concepts or take responsibility for their actions. I think the best advice their new attorney can give them is to stay away from a microphone and if provoked, just say “no comment.” Honestly.

They (and their new attorney) were apparently frustrated with the delay of arguing the dismissal, yet a new prosecutor had just been assigned to this case because the previous prosecutor was reassigned to another district, therefore, he just received the information on the scheduled court date and needed more time to respond to the dismissal motion. The reasonable judge understood that the state’s attorney needed time to review and prepare a response to a document that he just received, so wasn’t prepared to respond. Seems fair to me. I certainly wouldn’t want an attorney arguing a case without a thorough review of the facts.

Her father claimed it was akin to his native country, Venezuela, who, apparently practice lawlessness, claiming the judge was “cruel and disrespectful to our lawyer.” Well, Mr. Troconis, if Michelle wasn’t “cruel and disrespectful” to Jennifer, a mother of 5 children, your daughter wouldn’t be in this situation, would she?

Let’s let the fair and balanced judicial system in the USA, prepare a response to the motion to dismiss in a timely manner.

per my notes:
New Haven State's attorney Liz Moran has taken over the case from Stamford State's attorney Paul Ferencek

None of those Troconises understand the meaning of “accountability for their own actions”. The parents don’t know it, since they were privileged and entitled memberscof Venezuela’s upper class, and they did not teach it to their daughters. And disrespect??? Wow-there is video of their daughter bringing this discredited and irrelevant report up on a computer she did not need, and turning it so that it could be seen and read. And it wasn’t for assisting her lawyers, since both of them claimed not to know what she was doing or where she got it. That one thing alone was the epitomy of disrespect-and that was on top of conspiring to kill a mother of 5 children, after moving into the house her victim was paying for. MT doesn’t even have the self respect to support herself and her daughter!

Another change? I wonder why? Ferencek would have been perfect

...and her eye opening social media posts which also demonstrates quite a bit of disrespect.

I don't understand why Crosland thought his motion to dismiss could be ruled on when the adverse party, the state, hadn't yet replied within the time allowed by statute. If the state hadn't replied within that time, he could have filed a motion for default for failure to plead (not the motion to dismiss). Then the court would have set a date to hear the particular motion and the state's response. (All in my understanding as a non-attorney.) Did Crosland tell Troconis & her family that his motion to dismiss was going to be argued and perhaps ruled on? IMO the Troconises should be upset with their lawyer, not the judge. Mami and Papi could've stayed home.

I am afraid to look…has there been anything lately?

Nothing lately. Just the unladylike & disrespectful photos and raw comments on twitter that come to mind. I just find it so interesting that they refer to our judicial system and a sitting judge as disrespectful, yet their own daughter behaves in such a disrepectful manner on so many levels.

MT spends her days trying to be a "life coach" to other inmates??!!
Life coach, that’s really rich isn’t it? She is hoping it will help her in her imaginary appeal or a future parole hearing. Wonder if she is also trying to get cookie baking sessions for her group too.
