Holy Hell.

I blasted him yesterday for this ridiculous approach, but the quotes in this article basically represent a “double down.”

You’ve got to be kidding me.

I want to grab him by his ponytail, and shake some sense into him.

The lawyer told The Post Jennifer penned a 500-page “Gone Girl”-esque manuscript years ago (which he admits he has yet to read himself).

“This is a person who has a pretty florid imagination and motives to use it to hurt Mr. Dulos,” said Pattis.

He added, without producing any documentation, that Jennifer had a “troubled past” and “struggled with heroin her whole life.” He claimed she “had a relationship with a person who would import heroin from Cambodia” prior to dating Fotis.
Sounds like FD is projecting ...again. I've thought all along that
FD has a coke problem. huh, maybe South American coke.

More like his fiction is stranger than Hollywood fiction.
He chose the wrong profession. Could have been a *killer* screenwriter.

  • #603
Well, borrowing over 2 million dollars from your wife's father certainly has it's advantages. Especially if you are not sure you can ever pay it back.
I doubt he would have been able to borrow that kind of money from a bank. Imo
JD's family certainly think it was a loan and not a gift. The amount owed was probably loaned over the years.

Say what??? I have to go read this garbage.

I haven't been on the thread today so perhaps this has already been posted. FD is going after JD as a defense, as predicted:

https://nypost.com/2019/06/22/lawye...orchestrated-her-own-gone-girl-disappearance/

Lawyer claims ‘troubled’ Jennifer Dulos orchestrated her own ‘Gone Girl’ disappearance

From your link:

Pattis alleged Jennifer once disappeared from New York and “lived for years under a false name” after an “intrafamilial dispute about money.”

The attorney said Jennifer had “severe psychiatric problems,” was on anti-depressants, and “a custody study was prepared to give [Fotis] unsupervised access to the children.”

Additionally, he said Fotis received a $14,000 bill in April for unknown blood work Jennifer had done.

“From our perspective this is a perfect storm: a mysterious illness we don’t know about, a history of substance abuse, and a history of having disappeared,” said Pattis.

“If she were critically ill, thought she was about ready to lose control of her children, disappearing in such a way that made it look as though [her husband] were the culprit is the best piss off you can give somebody.”

A family source laughed at Pattis’ claims.

That last line is pure gold:

“A family source laughed at Pattis’ claims.”

Keep in mind he claims this was a gift from his FIL.

Suggesting that JD faked her own death is IMO in the same vein as calling Sandy Hook parents crisis actors. Now who would defend that?

Yes, you are right. He certainly seems overzealous and reckless. IMO, easy to be that way regardless of intelligence. I was just giving my opinion on his intelligence and clout in the company. If he was able to overbuild (do you have a link for that? sorry, I've been away for a while), then he definitely had the clout. Doesn't make him a good businessman, though--no matter what degrees or money he accumulated--that I agree with you 100% on. :)
no link but I'm formerly from that area of Central Ct. And I worked
a few years in the Real Estate and Custom Home building
business. I've helped many other builders/developers determine
the best homes to build for a given area.
FD didn't do his homework. He didn't learn how to determine
what would sell, if he did, he wouldn't have homes sitting for
2 yrs. after completion. If he had bank loans, they'd be calling his loans. But FIL was patient and forgiving for awhile.

Also the interiors of his homes are not designed compatibly for
the price point. His interiors are pretty average or less for that
price home. An experienced buyer and realtor would walk into
his homes and notice the same thing. He just built a lot of sq. footage but not necessarily high quality.

Heroin? OK, not only is she on prescription medicine, she's flakey, unstable, brilliant writer ahead of her time (she wrote a version of gone girl years before ). She's suicidal, too. Yet, her supposed drug addiction to Heroin needs to be imported from Cambodia? ! Holy crap. Next we will have a drug cartel connection! These two idiots FD and NP, what 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬!

He’s combining orange is the new black and gone girl

Thanks for the inside real estate info, as I know very little. Very interesting info for sure ...

Is it me or does anyone notice that the closer LE gets, the more ridiculous FD an NP stories become?

  • #614
Keep in mind he claims this was a gift from his FIL.
Even more advantageous!
Without them I doubt he would have been successful on his own. Imo

ITA! NP just wants to Throw spaghetti at a wall and see what sticks. Awfully derivative in some ways and yet compelling. We should recognize that JD was an imperfect person as we all are. But to suggest this, implies without a doubt, that the defense is going for morally bankrupt ground here. The evidence, however will speak for itself.

If I could speak to NP I would just ask, care to share your client’s whereabouts for May 24th right now? Share the exact times between 8-12am on the 24th? You have shared a lot recently, just not that. I wonder why that is? What about that Greece phone call? That wasn’t a relative per chance? Put up or shut up! Your client has no true alibi that will hold up and if FD did, you’d be shouting it from every rooftop? No alibi. None.

I wonder if it’s possible to sue for defamation or libel on behalf of a deceased individual? Is he trying to destroy whatever is left inside those kids? What an a...

NP is stiring the Pot.He is unsure what the LE has on his client FD. So like you said, throw it out there and see what sticks. Maybe throw it out there and see if LE shows there hand in defense of JD?

Bankers would have laughed FD outta the bank if he came in wanting to borrow a pile of money to build a large home on spec,
with NO Experience under his belt. they woulda shown him the door.
New builders have a very hard time getting financing without a
high percentage of their own equity into the project. It's just
smart business from the bank's perspective.
Most large homes in the prices he built are rarely built on speculation. They're almost always custom builds. Why?
Because if you can afford a 3 or 4 million dollar home, you want
your own personal input on design, layout, finish materials, appliances, roof materials, etc. Again, he just didn't know what
he didn't know. A novice with a pile of money to spend.

No. The person has to be living.

You’re right though, he’s harming the family in a grotesque way.
