I thought he threw away the altered plates at the end of his trash dump run? Do you think that he just took them off the truck right there, put them into the Fedex container and slipped them through the storm drain grate?

Yes he threw the altered plate at the end of the run. He may have very well used them while dumping trash then decided to throw them away after dumping the trash. Many have asked why didn’t he just throw the plates in the dumpsters at the same time he was throwing garbage. This might be the reason.

I am hoping the state police will release some of the evidence of FD dropping off incriminating evidence in Hartford the night of the hit; that should offer overwhelming incriminating proof of his involvement with what must be called a murder. Has there ever been a similar case where a victim such as JD showed up after her blood was found both at a crime scene and in bags an hour and a half away the same day??

JD's bio on the Patch site mentions that she was writing a novel. Did she ever publish it? Was that the "Gone Girl" type of manuscript that NP was alluding to?

FD went to one of the best schools in Greece. I'd say that perhaps his parents wanted him to do well in life.

I think NP will try to keep the evidence found in those bags out of court? According to the Arrest Warrant, FD “provided” his iPhoneX which was confiscated by a Detective. It was his pings (as well as a SW for his phone downloads and a search warrant for MT phone record data) which led LE to Hartford and to their command center to view the CCTV video. No pings no video? No video no catching them dumping trashbags. Hence the bags are the fruit of a poisonous tree? Same for the videos? I asked this before but I don’t think any of our Verified Attorney’s have yet weighed in. Should we be worried about the way FDs phone was obtained as described in the Arrest Warrant and the evidence that was obtained as a result of that phone information being kept out of court? @gitana1 should we be worried? Oh, I see. I didn't realize his cell phone played a role in LE connecting it to the garbage run footage.
I don't see why it would be a problem. Just because FD was upset that they confiscated his phone and wouldn't give it back to him doesn't mean LE didn't have the right to keep it as evidence. If he "provided" it, and they had a reason to believe it contained evidence, I would think they had every right to keep it and were not required to explain the reason.
It still would be helpful if one of the attorneys could explain all that, though.

It seems to me his attorney is just taking bits and pieces of what was said or done and trying to twist it to fit his own narrative or explanations as to his clients rights being violated.

After the court appearance when he requested the items seized be returned so he could build his defense, I commented that they will just have to find another way.

I guess that it what he is trying to do, but it seems to me to be a pretty desperate attempt. Especially if they need to resort to insulting and bashing the victim. Imo

IMO I truly believe that FD acted alone. Possibly thinking that if he could get off on this horrible crime that he, his children, MT and her daughter could finally be “one big happy family”. If I were in MT’s position as they drove through Hartford dropping off potential evidence I would NOT ask questions for fear of his reaction. MT is a bright woman and probably surmised what had happened and may have been terrified.
If both FD and MT were implicated in this crime IMO he may have thought they would have no chance to be together. Because being the brazen psychopath FD is, he surely thinks he will get off.

I guess I am working from a perspective that I wouldn’t have-but people are complicated, and so are their relationships. Maybe she would have stonewalled the police, for him, and not for herself.

One would think matches could be made even in blurry-ish circumstances. (Apologies if this was previously mentioned)

If sophisticated enough then I would say: two geese, cooked.

Your last sentence is right on. I was fortunate enough to train and work on Wall St. for a period and this was the overriding attitude.
Money, money and more money.
And as I've said previously we were taught well how to identify
those potential clients w/ sizeable incomes and assets.
FD was capable of doing the same and sought out women to date
based on their family money. I'm sure he was able to sleuth
JD's father's income and went after her like a shark on blood.

Here in the UK we don’t pay for rubbish collection (not directly, anyway, it’s included in council tax), yet STILL it would be highly improper to do that!

Hard to figure her thoughts and motives at this time.

I go back to things I've read that explain that 'difficult' men like FD
tend to go after similar women repeatedly.
So maybe MT has a lot in common w/ JD. We believe JD to be a
kind, gentle, submissive, bright, maternal, get along type person.

Maybe MT is similar??? Also based on MT's previous relationships we now know her judgement in men may be questionable as far as selecting long term partners.
She seemed to like alpha, high testosterone, high risk taking
men. Certainly FD would fit. But not good partner material.

If true that MT is staying in Westporte, Ct., near her attorney, it may be for security reasons. If she were really aligned w/ FD, I think she'd be back in Avon or Farmington. moo.
