He likely has the red truck that belonged to his employee. She wouldn't have immediately recognized the vehicle as his. She could've thought it was a landscaper for a neighbor or something of the sort. JMO.

I wonder, though, if she still wouldn’t have been wary about ANY unexpected vehicle especially if it had a construction-use look to it, as in not pristine, coming up to her house.

@davealtimari

Much bigger news in the New Canaan case Norm Pattis has filed motion seeking to have a custody report unsealed so that he can use it in defense of Fotis Dulos in criminal court. The secret study was ordered by a family court judge to help determine visitation and custody issues.

Michelle Troconis returned to the Farmington home she shared with Fotis Dulos this weekend to pick up some belongings. Dulos wasn't allowed to be present only several private investigators and attorneys. She was allegedly crying as she walked through the house.

Yes, the free ride from Jennifer's family money has ended and it's sad that you, Michelle, might end up in the pokey. I feel for ya'.

90-100 mph on route 8??? That's crazy to me! I was literally on it Saturday, and there are so many twists and turns and hills, I cannot even imagine. 84, 91, and 95 though? Yeah, people fly on there.

One thing is that it was Friday morning on Memorial Day weekend. I'm of the opinion he had time, but I have no idea what the traffic situation would've looked like that morning.

Oh yeah, I know it like the back of my hand and could prob do it with my eyes closed, so I admittedly drive a liiiittle faster than I should... and people still pass me over and over as if I am standing still... it shocks me every time.

I drove that route north to south about 5-6 pm that Friday 5/24... I don't recall any significant traffic. There's never traffic on route 8... but I'm trying to think - if he was driving south around 8:00 am or so that Friday he may have hit a little bit of traffic in Waterbury but prob not much... then going south on the Merritt at that hour could have been a little slow... but maybe not as bad as usual considering many probably didn't work that Friday so wouldn't be driving so early creating that notorious rush hour traffic. Then going north around 11:00 couldn't have been too bad IMO.

I’m so sorry that I can’t keep up on all the sites but did they search the woods and reservoir? I imagine it has a dam and spillway.
The only visit to the reservoir I'm aware of was the night before MT spent three hours talking to LE, which led some of us to believe she may have said something to prove she was willing to cooperate. I think the woods behind the property have been searched since the property was secured off for many days, but the depth and the intensity of the search of unknown, the same which can be said for the reservoir.

I don't know. Someone posted earlier that FD claimed he was meeting with his attorney at around 7:00 am that morning. I'm not sure who the attorney was at that time.
What attorney meets with you at 7 AM?

I don't think it's surprising or a problem that NP is building a defense for FD. I also don't see it as a problem that FD would try to paint JD as unstable. Now, sure, I would prefer that FD would simply say he killed her and where the body is but he's not. So of course they are going to say what they are. It's really up to LE to find evidence and for the prosecutors to prove to a jury that he killed her. So I'm not distracted by NPs antics at all. If I were the family, I'd just ignore it. May be difficult for sure, but they really aren't part of the legal maneuvering. It's between LE, prosecutors and defense. With that being the standard, then it's not really for us to parse their statements either. We just want to know what happened. I wish LE would tell us what they have. I hope they do soon.

I hope LE holds onto the details until they're forced to share them.

NP can't spin what he doesn't know and he would love to lock LE into a timeline so he can make up garbage disputing it.

I'm delighted they have this evil pair twisting in the wind on the tampering charge and can take their time with murder.

Patience is a virtue.

I imagine going north wouldn't have been bad at all; he didn't have to go towards the 84 Cape Cod traffic. We just don't know his route. 8 never even occurred to me, I was thinking 91 to 15.

Yuck! Their own silly and terrible version of the Bridges of Madison County. I imagine filing for divorce is next (since the defense is saying JDs alive and in hiding)? Followed by these two “unusual creatures” getting married? I had thought MTs parents would try to knock some sense into her but...no. We will not be able to count on MT at all to provide anything of value to the State.

I suppose their “idyllic” trash-bin odyssey of stupidity was just a sweet night out on the town for MT. FD certainly picked a perfect partner.
I will be rinsing out the throw up from my mouth until Labor Day. But glad FD is feeling lonely and desperate! Wondering if MT's even aware of how much she "longs" to be back in the arms of FD. Watch your back in those arms, sweetie.

What attorney meets with you at 7 AM?
Has it been confirmed that this was an in-person meeting? I heard speculation that this was actually just a telephonic meeting. I would find a 7 AM meeting very unusual, esp on the Friday before the holiday weekend. Also what attorney goes to a client's home for a meeting, especially at 7 AM? Personally I have not heard of such a thing. I know his home was also his business location, but still, it would make more sense for any meetings to occur at the firm IMO.

I thought NP said JD dated a man who sold heroin. He didn't say she used it. Many things are taken out of context and people are changing the meanings, exactly what NP wants.

He
FD not allowed to be present?? On what basis, I wonder, seeing as there has been no court order prohibiting their interaction, correct?? So this must have been requested by MT... I assume. Very interesting... it makes me wonder if she really is cooperating and perhaps has told LE some things which FD would be furious to know... I have a feeling that LE is holding those pieces of information close for several reasons, one of which is MT's personal safety, JMO.
Thanks for post....I agree....NP said he was advising them not to meet or talk...I didn't think there was a court order either, but doubt she's cooperating, however. :(

“We have learned that Ms. Troconis believes in his innocence, and loves him still. We see no reason why the two of them should not be free to live as they see fit.” All I can say is “BS!” After what he and the two of them put Jennifer and those children through NP is —-ing crazy. And the public should feel bad for these two? Are you kidding me? Both of them are extremely immature and histrionic with absolutely “0” empathy.

This MT situation crying and apparently still in love - No surprise here.

If you look at her demeanor walking into and out of court, that is not the demeanor of someone who even gives a schnitzel about a mother who has potentially died or disappeared under clearly troubling circumstances and leaving 5 young children behind.

The fact that she was arrested and charged in a matter related to this disappearance and she just nonchalantly walks in an out of court with her head held high demonstrates what a callous and equally warped individual we are dealing with here.

This is going to be a very very tough case to watch as it evolves. I bet she is still not cooperating with LE.

Norm Pattis filed a motion seeking clarification of Judge John F. Blawie’s release order which barred them from contacting each other.

IMO it was enough of a disguise for FD to move around the area that day for him to be driving a smaller red pickup truck versus his big black "Raptor" truck that was seen in NC that week, and many people including JD and kids and nanny and friends and visitation supervisor, etc. probably knew was his vehicle. Wonder how many other weeks in the last 2 years since JD filed for divorce and moved out with the kids FD had "traded" his truck for his employees' trucks for an entire week. Yet another circumstance that could be seen as a coincidence, but....

IMO
Those are the REAL reasons Michelle was seen crying when getting her personal items at JC over the weekend.

Despite that NP would like us to think her tears were because she’s missing FD.

MOO

Nah, 4 JC is right off of 84 - it's always faster to go 84 to 8 to 15, or 84 to 8 to 25 to 95. Plus, there's a whoooole lotta woods all along route 8 between 15 and Waterbury... just saying.

This came from Norm.

I am in awe of the smart posters here.
Just wanted to add my thoughts.
I say we let Norm have his wish.
Let FD and MT go to it! Matching ankle bracelets.
Let's see them go out for sushi, water ski, grocery shop together, maybe even hit the car wash in Avon? And, her daughter could join them!
Life is good!
And @CarefullyTaught

One of her friends stated that when they married he was smart but wasn't her intellectual equal.
Oh my. Bet FD took that well.

I hope FD and MT are enjoying the fresh air 'cause it ain't gonna last too long. MOO.

Wouldn't you expect the baby-daddy of MT's daughter would have a lawyer trying to keep her from living with or even being in contact with FD?

I would think he could make a pretty good case for that though he did let her live with her mother's lover, didn't he?

This little girl didn't have a chance! Where is she now?

Would t route 8 be longer ? Less traffic for sure. He’d have to get off on Bristol or Torrington . I suppose he could get off near litchfield and come down route 44to Waterville rd to mountain spring area.
