I'm confused...weren't there two properties in the "compound"? If so, did they both sell? Or, was there just one?
Very good ques
I’m just catching up, but “revenge suicide” now?!

You sure that’s the hill you want to die on Norm?

I’m so glad that the basis for this theory, is an unimpeachable witness.

Fotis.

This gets more and more absurd by the day.

“He can discuss what Jennifer told him in the weeks before her disappearance,” the lawyer continued. “We will soon be arranging what’s called a proffer session. Under that, he will be waiving his Fifth Amendment right against incrimination because we don’t think the comments incriminate him.”

If this wasn't so tragic it would be freaking hilarious.

I actually looked up the term revenge suicide.
It does exist but mostly attributed today to suicide bombers.

I could almost understand NP using this defense had his client not been seen on video disposing trash bags with his wife's blood on them.

How does one get around that?

And, he found out today that MT is divorcing him.:p

This is a Hartford Courant article. If you hit the pay wall try opening in a new private window.
In first public comment, Fotis Dulos says his children are ‘constantly on my mind’
Pattis told Judge Donna Heller during the hearing that there is evidence that Jennifer Farber Dulos was distraught over a custody report that was favorable to his client and criticized her, and that she may have had undisclosed health problems.

“It is the undersigned’s belief that Ms. Dulos was aware of the contents of the report, made statements about its recommendations to Mr. Dulos, and that she acted in accordance with her stated intention to do anything within her power to see to it that he was deprived of their children’s companionship,” Pattis said.

Heller told Pattis that he can view the report at court and take notes, but only in the presence of Meehan.

Heller said that the report would have no impact on her ruling.

All NP does is float his defense theories for a murder charge, when his client hasn't been charged with murder. (we all know it's coming) He never addresses a defense for the tampering charge, just that it will be addressed and that it will be a compelling explanation. Fantasy IMO

I don't think it's a good idea to discuss the activities of any minor children.

Are you asking about the Pound Ridge house?

I think only on the main routes like 123 and 35. I live on the border on a back country road that many people use as a cut through and there is no sign.
IMO if he was using Waze the only way to cross into NY that would make sense is via Ridgefield either from 84 or 7, which ultimately would have had to put him on 123. He could have either gone straight down 123 from 35 or if coming from downtown Ridgefield he could have taken a short cut from 35 to West Lane and eventually merged back into 123 still in NY either on West or Elmwood. But both West Lane and 123 have signs that you are entering NY. It's possible that he then went to East Street and to Briscoe on his way to Sturbridge and Briscoe i a little NY and then New Canaan and there might not be a sign there but he'd have been in New York already for many miles.

Are they still in school or is this a town league?
I would assume this is the 13 year olds?
Kids are so aware today. They must be all over this.
He wasn’t at the game

He wasn’t at the game
I know. Just wondering if it was school or town?

And ya know what? It's not important. Need to know basis.
TIA

Does anyone know why the GAL gave FD the psych report?

Look at that smile so sinister. It's the smile of someone who thinks they got away with it.
Yup, and let him talk and talk and talk to LE - this more this narcissist talks the more he will contradict himself...and the ultimate irony will be he will have gotten himself caught.

FD is loving the attention too much to sit quiet and shut up.

Key word “narcissist”. That’ll get him. IMO

OMG THAT DOGGO! I was literally looking at hypoallergenic breeds yesterday for when my husband and I eventually get a dog, and cairns were on there. :D

I'm thinking your first thought it probably accurate. The only way the state would take this meeting is if they're hoping he will give up information accidentally that is outside the scope of what he is volunteering to talk about.

O/T but consider a shih tzu. xoxo

For Christ’s sake. I’m several pages behind. But no mother in her right mind would commit revenge suicide and leave her precious children to that lunatic to raise. Give me a break.
To me this is another NP fishing exposition. He's trying to find out has the LE found anything at MIRA, and what did they find? NP's next exploration will be "Did GF kill her own daughter for bringing FD into their lives?" Or my personal favorite "Did Muffy their cat maul and kill JD because of change to her kibble? "

If someone claims lack of subject matter jurisdiction it means that they're claiming that the court doesn't have the authority to hear the type of case or controversy that's been brought before it.
Many thanks! Shouldn't GF's attorney have known this? Will it be brought up in another jurisdiction?

Are you asking about the Pound Ridge house?
Thanks...Yes, I am. I was under the impression that Pound Ridge was a "compound," more than one home. Did both sell? Or is my initial premise wrong?

No problem :) it is a compound because it has a main house and additional buildings all on the 4 acre lot. But when you sell it, all buildings attached to the land and everything above that piece of land gets sold.

Thank you for that pleasant article. I am happy to see MT cooperating with her legal team and cementing the distance from FD.
From your article.
However, Bowman said he and his client “are absolutely opposed to any contact by Fotis Dulos.”
:D

Smart of her to do so. IMO

That “karma bus” is going to level him, when it does come barreling his way.

It will come in the form of a murder charge.

And I just cannot wait!

I sooooo hope he's wearing his Lounge singer velvet jacket on that fine day.

This is a legal argument that FD is making -- his argument may not be valid. The court may reject the argument and rule that it does have subject matter jurisdiction over the matter. I haven't read the substance of the motion papers and don't know if his jurisdiction argument has merit.
