great dialogue. and while we all speculate its nice when nobody takes offence to a difference in opinion. I now see why he would bring her back in the red truck, to his area, that he knows very well. BUT then my question to you is why arent the hartford garbage bags with the body all in once place? My story is he dumped her somewhere in NC between her house and wav park. Switches from JDs car to the red truck that was stashed there in the am, loads the other garage bags in red truck to get rid of later. I believe he truly felt like he did a thorough clean up job at JDs house and his plan of this abduction could still work. Not having the cleanup material with the body is the only way it works.

Totally could be between Welles and Waveny, and aside from the keeping-it-close/familiarity theory he could have been searching sites in his day-to-day work at Foregroup' New Canaan property. I was thinking they might have searched those areas & gained footage from those neighborhoods already, while the WHR has been, as far as I know, unsearched.

Searching the West Hartford Reservoir? Yes it will/would be a nightmare. There are cliffs, lots of hardly accessed areas, lots of thick growth, and water. But it needs to get done. Its really his backyard.

No you are correct we have no news. But one of the local stations (think it was fox61) had their drone cam and so we had ariel shots of MT walking around the JC backyard with LE. If I recall the shots were of the rear most portion of the back yard where the woods start and then they walked along the perimeter of the yard to the front portion and then the shot cut out.

I wonder if after all this time MT was just showing police where FD got the poison ivy from. She could have told them they were playing catch in the yard and then she lead LE to a patch of poison ivy in their yard. Crap, I was really hoping it would be more than that but this just came to my mind.

HLN is owned by CNN, but is its own network. Every city I have ever been in, you will find it within a channel or two of wherever your regular CNN is.

Fodu has been convincing people for years. When you hear him last night speak, you can see how he tries to work people. Not that it worked last night but you can see things. If he had his mind set on a plan, he would try to stick to that plan and execute. that red truck plays a huge part in all this...i know it.

Ok, so FD wasn’t the greatest businessperson or builder, and he was a sleazy aggressive @#& on top. But the real thing that hit Fore Group the hardest was the terrible real estate market in CT between 2012-now. Between 2012-2017 CT had the slowest housing market in the country and the biggest problem is at the highest end. High earners continue to leave the state in droves. His whole model didn’t work, and is only getting worse. For those who live in CT and are in this demographic, I know you get what I’m saying. For others a quick google can confirm that this is what likely hit Fore the hardest, and FDs poor management, playboy lifestyle, and abusive personality just made it all the worse.

What I've observed over the years is that successful builders
are able to weather the storms and they are flexible and learn to
adjust their market based on the overall market. If the market is
poor in high end, they go down a couple wrungs and build in
whatever price range is selling. that's just the nature of the
real estate game. He may not have been in the business long enough to have understood this trend of up and down market.

He could have saved his business, IMO. fire sale the large
white elephants he was sitting on, re-invest the money in the
market that is moving and continues to build where there
are more buyers in the lower price ranges.

But he was hard headed and obstinate and he got greedy.

There was a delay in collecting all the garbage bags on Albany Ave. Because of the holiday pickup schedule, some of his
disposed bags got picked up and taken to MIRA and a few
were left on the street in cans. The majority of them were already
picked up by the time LE got to the cans so they only found a
few that were still there.

Builders do this all the time. He didn't want to sell Jefferson Crossing, which is why he had it listed at about twice it's actual market value. even his RE agent said the same.
The builder just lists the property so they can pick up new clients
and show it to prospective new clients as a sample of what he builds. Plus he had his office there so it was a cozy, convenient set-up, for him.

It’s very good; much better than I expected. So far, Jean has interviewed JD’s friends (including the family spokesperson).

The author of Gone Girl, Gillian Flynn, was also contacted. She gave a moving statement re NP’s absurd accusation of JD’s GG disappearance.

Mike spoke with a member of LE or ?Sorry I missed who it actually is, as I was typing & posting this.

I won’t give away any more, but it’s definitely worth watching!

Well here's some new forensic testing that COULD come into play
in this crime.
It can lift latent fingerprints off of cloth, plastic and money.
Maybe Fd's fingerprints are on the cloth or towels in the garbage
bags that he deposited on Albany Ave.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised as well.

Good variety of interviews and rundown of the case.

Glad they interviewed Dave Altimari (Courant investigative reporter). He reiterated that law enforcement tends to believe MT’s account and alibi.
