So, does standing and fighting mean the ridiculous GG theory/revenge suicide? Sounds like going down yet another road.
Yeah, it sounds like too much of a switcheroo from the revenge suicide theory.

Could he really want to pitch the theory that MT and Jennifer conspired against him? Nah!

I agree....and, I think it's fairly underhanded and a snub of the courts' no-contact orders for FD to mention his love for MT and his children.

I'll believe the NBC interview is "hard-hitting" if the interview includes questions pertaining to the trash run and its contents. I'd also like to hear him answer questions about the sanctions imposed by family court, etc.

Most of all, I'd like to know who arranged the interview and what parameters were placed on the content of the interview, if any. Even if FD can't go into detail, I want to see his response to direct questions about the tough topics.
I think this 'special' was a highly (and I mean highly) negotiated 'scoop'. Pattis is dancing on the edge of the razor with FD IMO going before the media. I am sure they have practiced endlessly but it just doesn't seem logical to bring someone forward that seems incapable of basic human characteristics like empathy, caring and just plain decency.

What I also believe is that Pattis will never put FD on the stand so this is his only chance to put FD out to the public. The fact that he is doing this outside a courtrooms rules and simply pandering to the public is something that I find enraging! I so so wish that some judge somewhere in CT had the forethought to put a gag on all this press to protect the children from having to see this down the line and hear about it from their friends in the meantime and keep the jury pool intact. MOO

Norm P should have been there serving wine and cheese at this feel-good interview.

Anybody else think the "I know what I did, and I know what I didn't do" was throwing MT under the bus?
Possibly. But that is a dangerous path for him to go down IMO as unless the situation is totally different than it seems then its likely he needs MT way more than she needs him. So far we know now there is no complete alibi. So, even though there is no body either the fact that the alibi isn't there (I believe Pattis would be shouting and swinging from the trees screaming about the alibi if it were rock solid!) is clearly an issue still. Pattis IMO was really rolling the dice on a public interview even if its very narrowly negotiated in terms of discussion topics. MOO

Wow! Finally caught up in the thread again! FoDu speaks some more! Perhaps a well-connected person has tipped NP off to the fact that indeed as the last few pages of this thread have illustrated: More Charges Are Coming! I cannot wait! Please don’t seal the Arrest Warrant(s)!

Okay so I was combing through articles last night and wanted to add a few thoughts.

1. Just unparalleled work on this forum from all of y’all digging through documents related to FD finances, Fore Group properties, etc. It is beyond impressive! Just wow. People have really connected the dots in an amazing way given the way most MSM articles about the divorce and financial suit have a mosh mash of confusing dates etc. thanks to y’all keeping it straight. The financial aspect of this case is VERY important and it cannot be stressed enough IMO that it is not only a motive but it could result in further criminal charges—financial crimes. Y’all rock!

2. All the locals contributing just great work as well. Thank you so much for details and descriptions and pictures. Without your invaluable input it would be much more difficult for many of us to contribute our theories and ideas.

3. Some of the MSM articles from yesterday mentioned that ReDu practically “raised” FoDu as she is 14 years his senior (65 years old to his 51) and views him as a son. Without disparaging her character (I like many of you don’t buy that she’s on the up and up) I would say that the mere fact that she is “Team FoDu” means she cannot be Pro-Jennifer and as such I have to disregard her impressions and feelings about FoDu.

4. Financial Stuff: I found this quote which was attributed to the divorce/law suits/JD disappearance:

William Ferrigno, President is Avon-based Sunlight Construction, Inc said, “it’s sad all the way around. The affluence-the over-the-Top affluence-it didn’t end up serving anyone’s interests at the end of the day.”
Before being jailed in connection with the disappearance of Jennifer Farber Dulos, her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, faced a downward spiral in his business and marriage

There is more in there about FDs inability to adapt. Lack of knowledge of where to build his niche homes for the wealthy. The fact the market had changed and many builders had already transitioned into building smaller more energy efficient homes that required less maintenance. He built in the wrong area. Hartford county instead of Fairfield county. Something JD finally got FuDo to see right before she found out about the affair with MT and left. He finally realized too late He should have built in New Canaan. His ignorance is highlighted in the Hartford Magazine supplement called “Posh Properties” which quotes FuDo.

5. Finances and Fore Group Properties part two: As it pertains to 80 Mountain Springs address. FuDo has “attracted investors” for this property. A $600,000 line of credit from a gentleman of Coventry Rhode Island. I didn’t mention the man’s name as this person isn’t a POI or suspect and didn’t want to violate TOS. For the same property FuDo has also received a $500,000 mortgage from a man from Athens Greece. IMO this might be the person FuDo could have been speaking to on the phone on May 24th? I also didn’t name the person as not a suspect or POI.

Both men’s names are in the article I linked above.

I keep going back to that guys quote about the affluence. The over-the-Top-affluence and how it served no one. Touché!

Wow! I wonder if charges will be coming tomorrow??? I will have to make it a point to keep my phone with me at all times to check.
Google, “Fore Group reviews” and see some really angry locals

Here is the woman from the local bank writing on google reviews:
Pretentious, dumb, and evil. That sums up Fulos! Remember the days you used to come into our bank and boasted about your kids and beautiful wife? Little did we know you were abusing her and planning out her murder with your horsey Michelle. You had no money or business you phoney. It was all Jennifer’s and her parents

NP or one of his minions was likely just out of camera range.

Anybody else think the "I know what I did, and I know what I didn't do" was throwing MT under the bus?
It seemed to me like a Tell, if that is the right term. He revealed himself. He does know what he has done, and in his mind it is justified. He's okay with it. He added "and I know what I didn't do" almost as a correction. Also interesting to me is the sister's statement, strangely listing questions and revealing little bro always wanted to be the big macher - he wanted to take care of his poor family so they would look up to him and be grateful, but alas he was using his father-in-law's money; he saw himself as the grand and great patriarch, wanting that big family "under" his wings -- he is free, they are dominated and controlled (bold by me):“Is it relevant to point out that Fotis — from a very young age — desired to be a father? To be a caretaker? To have a big family under his paternal ‘wings?'” I think this bully of a man, this fabulist, this climber, is the ultimate destroyer; he finally met his true match in MT, a similarly ambitious woman who seemed to prefer married men (and their money), from her love child on.

I'm almost positive NBC4 streams their news, so if they do, the link will be somewhere on this page

IMO they needed to get this McMansion kitchen interview done because he could be arrested again at any minute.

This is written as a review a month ago from a former client:
LOOKING FOR ANOTHER SUGAR MAMA?. ALL THOSE PROPERTIES BELONG TO YOUR WIFE.. YOUR MISTRESS IS SUPER UGLY and trashy. You have no decency. taking your mistress to a house bought by Jennifer's dad. You are a disgusting human being

  • #1,094
He never says “I didn’t do this”. Or “I had nothing to do with my wife’s death”

Thereby keeping the door open to an accidental killing or self-defense theory?

Agreed! IMO iirc many of us on here predicted that the biggest challenge to the defense in this case would be FoDu’s ego. We have seen the enemy and it is him!
With apologies to Carly Simon,
@LittleBitty has inspired me with her Night Ranger.

Nobody does it better.
Though sometimes I wish
someone would.
Nobody does it
half as good as you.
Why’d you have to be
FoDu?

Even with NCN throwing all the pasta possible at the wall and talking through entertaining three more encore theories, ultimately he just can’t get FoDu to keep his mouth shut.

In fairness, NP’s task was Herculean. But FoDu’s a bad liar. He can’t maintain eye contact in the interview, his meth[od] to his madness is showing. He looks nervous and looks like he’s smirking at times.

I agree with the upthread poster (sorry everyone is so spot on I can’t recall which sleuther it was) who specifically mentioned how visibly uncomfortable FoDu seemed when asked about Jennifer. He tried to punt it, deferred to his sister’s written statement (press release) from the day before, but then had to cough something up on the fly which just sounded like what he guessed maybe a normal and totally not guilty person would be saying.

I understand their goal to try this in the press and sway potential jurors in his favor, but I’m hoping those folks will be asking each other or themselves in the jury room during deliberations “Why’d he do soo much talking and signaling to everybody about everything and do the interviews but then not take the stand?”

He’s going to have *such* a hard time keeping his mouth closed at trial. If Pattis won’t agree to put him on the stand, I really think FoDu is going to wind up finding an attorney who will or else he’ll be representing himself (which is, afterall, FoDu’s factory default setting, right?).

My sociopath ex was just like this. Always telling people he loved his life and his wife. All the while funneling money, hiding money, secret phone, drugs I'm pretty sure. All money originated from me. He built his business because of me. Something happened where he was able to get his hands on the money, a lot of it. Everything he projected about himself was a scam. I believe I could have been killed a couple different times. Things just didn't pan out how he wanted though.

I wonder if he will say he made a negative remark about JD and either MT or EE took him seriously and proceeded to commit the murder? I think I've seen this defense somewhere before..not just Strangers on a Train.
Great movie.

I Absolutely, 100% Believe that EE was being Set Up.

EE was working for FD in New Caanan on that Friday.

EE was driving FD's Ford Raptor Truck in New Caanan on that Friday.

In My 'newly formed' Opinion, EE helped load the infamous trash bags into FD's Ford Raptor Truck Friday evening, to get EE's finger prints all over the bags.

In My 'possibly' newly formed Opinion, EE lives near the area of Albany Road where the 'Trash Bin Odyssey of Stupidity' took place in the Hartford Area.

I keep asking myself, Why would FD hold on to the trash bags and deposit them later?

Why not destroy them immediately?

Why would he want to have them anywhere near him or his properties and for so long?

Setting Up EE answers these questions for me.

Just my favorite new theory so far!!!!
Plain as the nose on your face!
There was definitely a significant reason why he chose Albany Rd. - like ever other single solitary move he has made. And I think you just may be right.

It’s almost as if all the other noise has to be removed and scrutiny of FD must occur in a vacuum. If all the other noise: NP,RD, MT, LE searches, land ownership, money, custody-everything can be dampened, I think FD will, or has already, given himself away. If only we could rewind, and watch the Rashomon version from his twisted mind .....

CTgrammy’s theory of the dummy dump thinks from outside the box on this side of the version. I do think Occam’s Razor Applies more often than not in this crime and the simplest answers are going to be the correct answers.

"My children are the center of my world. I worry about them and Jennifer, and I would tell them that I know it is hard now but everything IS going to be alright eventually."
How strange roar he wants to tell his children that -- um no, their beloved, loving mom is gone. In Fotis' narcissistic mind, that's gonna be just fine, he will get full custody and control, the kids will be all right. He cannot see that murdering their mother is the worst thing he could have ever done to them. Sick man, I can't wait until he is back in that orange jump suit he found so surreal. What a shallow, stupid, twisted man. MOO.
