I just wish we could channel that and figure out if JD was not in MIRA and I am starting to have my doubts where she would be found. I still maintain it has to be some place familiar. That he has some dominion over. I just am at a loss with the time constraints unless it was a pre-planned place. A hole in the ground? A barrel? A septic tank? What is the fastest way to get rid of a body?

Again I apologize upfront for the fact that I have no squeamish feelings about a body. Pathologist daughter who saw more than my fair share of autopsies. At that point there is nada you can do for them. Just try to bring the family some small level of closure although there is no such thing.

I didn't watch the interviews with FD or the police chief but have read what is relevant.

Since I am a NC resident, I asked the selectman why the chief of police is not focused on this as his main job instead of enrolled in an out of state university working on his MBA? He said the police commission had jurisdiction, so I contacted two other top brass, one was on vacation for another week the other did not respond. Hopefully we will see more collaborate press releases with the state police and FBI chiming in.

This is a big case, it seems to me that the law enforcement PRs haven't been strong enough compared to the opposition. The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. Personally like old timers said at the local lunch joint, it was too many days after the Hartford area police started combing through the dumpsters. Only one or two of the 30 or so bags were recovered, the rest went to the incinerator, that is where the body probably went. Over a week from the FD dumpster caper to recovery effort. Thankfully the mayor up there had installed CCTV a few years ago to address their little crime waves. I just hope the the Jennifer Farber's family have the best lawyers and PIs looking at a long battle in this case and are doing their due diligence.

LittleBitty, I found the MacKenzie Lueck thread to be uncomfortable for a number of reasons and decided just to step away from it.

Many participants have not brought out the best in each other, to say the least.

This one and Kelsey Berreth's have been my favorites as there is concern for Jennifer's family and a desire to protect her reputation along with humor and well-constructed theories.

I don't remember this thread ever being shut down for a massive clean-up either. Nice!

No massive clean ups -everyone is respectful and abides by TOS and doesn’t mind when someone points out to be careful - I’ve a limited amount of sleuthing time available and I prefer to work the forums where respect is always given / now where is JD?

There were multiple theories on the banging noise at Sturbridge.

Originally I thought that the dumpster company had been called and the dumpster was 'tipped' which if it happened early in the morning would have been quite loud. Some of the refuse companies come into town before the hours when they are allowed in order to get runs done before traffic become bad.

Others thought the noise could have been either a well cap or a septic cap being removed. Then someone saw that the septic system has an above ground conduit to facilitate cleaning. Multiple pictures of septic tank systems were posted earlier in the thread and sometimes there are manhole entrances in larger system to facilitiate maintenance work.

Then there was a news report that the loud noise had come from inside the house and this threw the discussion for a loop.

There was also alot of discussion about the awareness of dogs and how they know which sounds represent a threat and which don't and would bark continuously if they noticed a threat to their environment as was the case of the noise that was reported by the dog sitter.

I’m now rethinking and going with barrel banging shut and cell phone may put him there IMO - I’ve wondered about all the lake /water searches and the garbage plant - what other reasons can there be for these types of searches ?

I’m concerned though for the timeline for getting back to Farmington if a body disposal was done in New Canaan. Pattis already said just getting back to Farmington would be doubtful, but then add the time needed to prep the body and the prep the NC site? A quick wrap up and go to Farm is plausible. And he would have far more time for prep, a safe site, and options for delayed disposal.

IMO Pattis was doing what Pattis does which is to cast doubt and create confusion. Its his thing!

If someone were determined to get back to Farmington in 1.5 hrs with the crazy traffic and was willing to dodge and weave through back roads I think it could have been done. FD has a long well documented history as being a speed demon and quite reckless driver based on prior court cases we have discussed on prior threads.

The major roads heading north were a mess early in the holiday weekend this year. I do think a number of people have brought up possibly holding the body someplace in NC overnight at least and then coming back to retrieve it at a later time. Others have brought up that FD family business (father and grandfather) was tanning. Growing up in his family FD no doubt had extensive experience seeing if not doing hide prep work and most tanners have a solid understanding of carcass prep on par with butchers. So, with the knowledge from his past FD could have done quickly something that might have taken a less knowledgeable person a good bit of time IMO.

do we know how the “cell tower ping work”? my question is, if JDs cell phone was on her when she dropped off her kids, which you have to assume nowadays is a definite, does she have to get a call to track where she is? it doesnt sound like thats the case being FuDus phone pings were tracked between his home and the other home. SO if this is tru, can we assume officials now where she was up until the phone was turned off or destroyed?

I have noticed that FD (or those speaking on his behalf) have not made any statements like we so often hear when a loved one goes missing - for example, if you are out there and you can hear us, we want you to know that we miss you very much, we love you very much, please come home if you can. we will find you. we will not give up. the kids are missing you terribly, they need you here. wherever you are, we will find you, etc............

And, it's JMO, the reason we have not heard this is more than likely because FD knows she is NOT coming home EVER. He made sure of that.

But we here, will NEVER give up and why - because WE care. That's something that FD knows nothing about - caring about someone. He is all about himself and himself only.

I just think FD just can't bring himself to ask for JD back. He knows he's not that good an actor. Prepare to see NP ask for JD to come home.

I'm liking the barrel theory the more I keep hearing about it to tell you the truth! I've also been researching the number of cell towers in NC and then trying to figure out how long it would take FBI/State Police to do a dump of a tower during the critical points on our timeline to see if any familiar numbers are revealed. NC is not a large place but because of the Merritt Parkway traffic I wonder if calls made on the Merritt make the sheer volume of calls logged on some of the NC cell towers extreme during peak commute times? I would think so but I don't know but I'm trying to learn more. The morning and evening commute volume of traffic is extreme and when traffic is backed up many just sit and chat on their phones.

I find it hard to believe that burner phones weren't used so this could be taking extra time to track back. We saw the dogs trained to search for electronic items in Waveny early on and we thought they might have been looking for JD phone but I also wonder if they were looking for burners?

Agree, and with the planning that seems to have been done (red truck, altered license plates), I don't it's a stretch to think that he prepared a burial place in the NC area (or elsewhere) beforehand. JMO.

That interview accomplished nothing other than to let us know (IMO) that if NP is still on the case when it goes to trial that he will file for a change of venue to NY.

The best theory they had (however much it enrages is all) was to trash JD and make it appear like GG, planned 100% by JD and that FoDu came on the scene and freaked and cleaned it all up out of fear he’d be persecuted and such. That’s their best option or defense to the trashbin odyssey of stupidity. And of course they needed MT to come on board with her undying love and readily back up FoDu’s alibi. None of this happened! Now FoDu is breaking out his sister and himself because he believes he is his best defense. He doesn’t need a stinking attorney! Alibi! Why? He’s so amazing and charming why does he need one? I know a lot of people haven’t been impressed at all with the FoDu strategy roll out the past month...I am one of them. But I honestly think even if NP is competent and savvy and all of that I am starting to wonder if NP is really in control of stuff anymore. jmo. If he is...then I am unimpressed.

Troubling as it is, it makes sense in light of barrel availability to FD and access to deep water.

I believe more ground up debris with Jennifer's DNA was found at the garbage plant and
I suppose there could be bone/teeth bits but I don't feel super confident about that. MOO

with Jennifer. Notice it’s all about him like everything else. His Greek Orthodox religion. All their kids had Greek names. His business FORE. Fotis + Rena= Fore. Never mind Hilliard Farber fronted u all that money. Which according to FoDu was a gift and not a loan. Greek nannies that don’t speak English. Leaving the country practically ever month to party and waterski and go back to Greece and show your countrymen and family what a big shot you are.
2. “I had my differences with Jennifer.” Y’all she was such a failure but I put up with her and tolerated her the best I could. No mention of any differences we had with each other. Seriously. This guy is American educated from colleges most people can’t afford to or get into based on grades. So no trying to tell us he doesn’t understand the English language. JMO but I don't think they found anything along the lines of human remains at the MIRA. That is why they are continuing to search elsewhere, like the Hartford reservoir.
