We saw LE searching the drains at JC (reporter tweeted picture and that picture ended up on WS in prior thread). IDK about Sturbridge search other than the State Police Crime Van was at the property once that I saw for nearly 8 hrs.
Here is my recollection regarding the drains: a MSM tv interview with a LE “expert” early in in the search had that “expert” stating that LE would be searching everything, they would be searching all the shower drains at JC and 80MS for example.
I remember this clearly as on my first view I thought the person being interviewed was associated with the case and they were actually searching the drains. On rewind I saw it was just one of those “experts weigh in”.
Which means it is in fact likely that they did search the shower drains, as well as septic (they showed a photo of searchers opening the septic tank).
Given that LE shifted the energy of the search (from what we saw) from NC in the first week, to Farmington area (MIRA, Avon, WHR etc) in subsequent searches continuing to now, I always suspected they found something at 80MS in that first week that led them to believe the body was likely brought back up there, and that something could be JDs blood in a drain or elsewhere.

Yes, the stories and excuses by FD to Family Court about his finances and lack of cash to meet basic obligations read like a modern day pulp version science fiction IMO. At this point I believe that whatever money MT got for child support was going to support FD lifestyle no different than JD had done previously IMO.

At one point FD asked the court for JD to pay for his atty fees as his income at the time was allegedly $50,000 or so for the year. I believe this was shortly after the sale of Hemlock house in NC and JD was understandably miffed that profit from this project somehow didn't 'figure' into FD definition of income.

All I can say is that I hope somewhere and someplace in the CT judiciary that some judge with oversight capabilities looks at the charade that played out in Judge Heller's courtroom with no consequences to FD and to the detriment financially of JD and her children and does something about the process as had there been financial disclosure and resolution of financial matters shortly after the divorce that custody could have also been resolved and the divorce wrapped up. But the CT system doesn't make it easy for couples with money to get divorced easily or inexpensively IMO.
This makes for quite the motive IMO. Didn’t JD file another complaint to the court regarding him hiding money just before her disappearance? Seems as though his excuses were running thin and his lies about to be exposed to the court .

He is in that house. Priced for 4+million. Way over the top for Farmington.
How is that even possible ! Who is paying the mortgage ? GF? Surely not . Brings me back to the question of where is he getting money ?

Yes, just a few days before her disappearance. Somebody posted the document on here. The court date deadline was coming up the next week. Apparently it was “do or die” quite literally...

This could be what is taking a long time- LE is certainly taking the financial pressure and coverup into account as motive and timing, and digging through and getting all the documents for that is likely time consuming. Also, the “We’ll see” comment about other individuals being charged made by NC Police Chief a few days ago in his interview, could refer to people associated with the financial coverup. We are all thinking accomplice to her disappearance, but it could also be those involved in the financial side of things.

I’ve been doing a lot reading today . A couple of questions that I have are
1. Who was scheduled to pick up the kids after school? Seems odd that a day she wasn’t the one picking them up is the day she disappeared.
2. I’ve never been divorced, so I’m unfamiliar with how long this process takes but it seems 2 years is a long time to still be married after filing.
3. Who is currently funding FD ? If his business is failing and owes millions of dollars where is he getting his $ from ?
4. Where are all of his friends and advocates speaking up about what stand up great guy he is ? I have yet to read anything about his family supporting him . Seems odd..
Love your thoughts

1. The children’s nanny was scheduled to and did pick up them up at school that day. She then took them to their grandmother’s in Manhattan. We’re not absolutely sure if she was scheduled to take them to NYC, but it seems like it.

2. CT is not a community property state when it comes to divorce proceedings.
Community Property Overview - FindLaw

I went through 2 divorces in CT. First one was amicable and only took a year. It wasn’t contested. My second divorce was a little over 2 years, which seems to be normal for CT, if there are motions to appear for disagreements, for parties contesting, for defaults of CT divorce laws. These take up time and are most of the causes that make CT divorces so expensive and drawn out.

3. (Already answered)

4. FD doesn’t seem to have any friends. No one has come forward to defend him or report what a cool dude he is. Not even his ex-employees!

However, his sister, RD, did “write” a joke of an article about what a wonderful brother, son, father, husband FD was/is.

Many think she was put up to it by attorney Norm Pattis. And was possibly/probably written by NP himself. IMO

I may be wrong (finance is not my field), but if GF is the guarantor and FD is not making the payments, I think she would have no choice? (Please correct me if I have it wrong! :))

I think he is in arrears.

MT gets $4000 a month for her daughter's child support. I would be very surprised if FD doesn't have total control over that money. She could also be getting support from her parents.

We have to keep remembering that future behavior is predicted by relevant past behavior. FD would certainly have sought a woman of some means after Jennifer bailed on supporting him. He actually tried to mooch off both of them at the same time.

It's what he does. If he stays out of jail he'll do it again.

I just looked it up on Zillow . Listing says it’s in foreclosure so maybe no one is making the payments and he is just biding his time . I suppose if CT is so slow on divorce cases it might be on foreclosure as well . Interesting fact tho look at who is listed as the loaner .

I think I read he has loyal friends in Greece who believe he is innocent and are sending him money.
Can't link it and don't know how to find it.
Will go looking.

I will try to answer your questions the best I can. If I’m not sure of something I will say as much...lol.

1. JD has two appointments scheduled for May 24th in New York. One at 11:00am and one at 1:00pm. She missed both. JD has a nanny. We do not know if the nanny lives with JD or not. The NCCS school where the 5 kids were attending had an early let out that day for the Holiday. The nanny picked all 5 children up from school that day. According to MSM the plan was to take them to NY. We do not believe that the nanny went to the JD residence after picking up the children from school. Other than JD, the only people we are aware of as being at the house after JD dropped the children off at NCCS was a housekeeper and the perpetrator(s). The housekeeper arrived at JD house at noon and entered and saw nothing amiss. No one was home. We don’t believe the housekeeper entered the garage.

The kids and JD were supposed to spend the night in NY with GF and possibly the nanny. When JD was reported missing at 6:59 pm on May 24th, NCPD entered JD’s home with the help of the nanny according to the Arrest Warrant. We don’t know any more detail other than that—like if she gave a passcode to them over the phone or was there in person. Entry to the home was granted permission by GF.

It has been stated multiple times in MSM that FoDu was going to see his children for 7 hours on Saturday, May 25th in Fairfield County and 7 hours on Sunday May 26th in Farmington County. He also had visitation on Wednesday on May 22 on JDs patio. GAL is to be present for all meetings with kids. All meetings are supervised. It is not out of the realm of possibility to assume FoDu knew of JDs plans for the 24th and that the kids would be in NY that evening. JMO.

2. This is a highly contentious divorce with over 400 motions and documents going back and forth. FoDu refuses to turn over financials and is still fighting over the custody arrangement which before JD went missing only gives him 14 hours on weekends supervised and time on Wednesday supervised. If it were amicable it would have been over. It has definitely been the opposite.

3. No clue about FoDu and his money. Most of us on here think his financials are sketchy and possibly criminal. No idea what arrangements he has made with his attorney NP or if NP will stick around.

4. His sister who lives in Athens Greece who is 14 years his senior recently gave a statement this past week before FoDU was interviewed by NBC NY. It was a supportive statement. His sister Rena has daughters and one has been seen and photographed in FoDu’s company since he bonded out. Mostly just family support and his attorney making statements. That’s all we have seen anyway.

True . I know how credible Parris is ... ( do I need to point out the sarcasm in my voice ) ... but he said MT and FD are “broken up” . If this is indeed true . FD is surely on the prowl for a new sugar momma and I’m sure there is someone dumb enough to go for his BS .... even with this being a high profile case .

That is interesting. I think I remember hearing that one of the houses was in foreclosure, but it’s hard to keep them straight sometimes! And had no idea she was the loaner!

Great pics! Did you see any poison ivy? Once I started looking for it I saw it all over Waveny. I guess with the spring we had here in the area that poison ivy is doing well this year. Wonder where FD ran into the poison ivy!
If he weren't doing anything nefarious and just went about his business around his properties, would he necessarily have come in contact with poison ivy? What could his poison ivy rash possibly tell LE? That FD approached JD's house from the back through the woods? That he hid (something) in the brush in the Waveny Park or on/behind one of his Farmington properties? That he disposed of the body in a wooded area? There are many possibilities.

The symptoms vary in severity from person to person. The plant oil canbegin to penetrate the skin within 5-10 minutes of contact. Poison ivy rash canappear in as little as 4 hours or as longas 2-3 weeks after exposure. Generally, the first blisters appear within 1-14 days.

I was just happy FoDu was itching while he was waiting to bond out. Lol.

By all accounts he wasn't in the trenches prior to being arrested. Wore designer clothes checking on the boys.

Not knowing the area, does the poison ivy narrow the search area or is it everywhere?
