I keep thinking how terrified JD must’ve been . Obviously the court docs show that she said she was afraid of FD . I suppose she chose to move into a rental VS staying with GF in order to keep the kids in the same school. Someone mentioned up thread that FD had suggested that his and JD’s relationship had become more cordial and that perhaps she let her guard down that day . But , I’m not so sure about that theory . JD had been put thru the wringer both by CT courts and FD . She seemed much smarter than to allow him to manipulate his way back into her trust .... with or without a “trusted” friend aka accomplice . I believe he ambushed her ... and that brings me to another question . How did he know she wasn’t picking up the kids that day ? Someone had to have been “leaking” information about her schedule to him .... What do we know about the Nanny? Not suggestion she was helping him voluntarily but he may have manipulated her into disclosing private information on JD.

I’m pretty sure he was supposed to have them. I think she was going with them just overnight to NY then back with them for his visitation period.

I'm also very curious about the GAL giving FD's attorney a copy of the family evaluation even though it was a draft and not entered into the record. I think you've pointed out before that this was a "no-no," but are there no repercussions? How many copies of that are still out there? Returning the original (and supposedly all copies) is hardly assurance of compliance after selective parts and interpretations of the report have been released to the press. Maddening!

1000% agree with your thoughts on the Easter celebration....The computers were seized but as part of the criminal investigation. Can those be shared with the litigants in the financial lawsuits? Family court?

<modsnipped>:)

The remedy is removing the GAL and replacing him with another. Which ironically is what FD has been wanting.

Criminal evidence won't be shared with civil litigants or their experts until after the criminal case has concluded, but that part of the family law case is on indefinite hold, likely, anyhow.

I can't even get past this mangled turn-of-phrase: “Your Honor, I am sorry, but why do I always get the raw end of the stick?” Dulos said to Superior Court Judge Donna Heller.
Perhaps FD could have benefited from more carrot, less stick as a kid... or perhaps, MORE stick.
This is a great piece, thanks for posting! Amazed at the way Fulos speaks to the court and blames Jennifer’s Attorney for the woes in his life. The kids won’t have Easter, that’s great. Um, the kids won’t celebrate Greek Orthodox Easter, big deal. Did the Farber family ever insist that the kids celebrate Jewish holidays? The kids weren’t even supposed to be around Side Piece, and he’s telling the court that she and 20 members of her family will be at Greek Easter?! What world is he living in?

Interesting theory. Would it be possible to "package" the body so no one would know there is a body being disposed of and have a junk dealer perhaps dispose of it without knowing what it was?

Do you mean that the junk dealer would have disposed of it outside in a junk yard? The smell would have been ghastly, and it would have attracted buzzards. I was actually thinking about buzzards, when trying to decide where I thought she’d have ended up...I don’t think she is out in the open. Buried, maybe, but not in a junk yard, I don’t think.

Those costs for the GAL are insane. I've never seen anything like it. And 40k thus far for the custody evaluator is excessive. In my state it would be closer to 15k in cases with money.

The "relaxed" visitation order is still among the most restrictive available. That this rich dude with expensive attorneys has to be monitored by professional psychologists during his visits is unusual and reserved for some of the most manipulative and emotionally abusive parents.

If he cared about his kids he wouldn't have 20-30 people at Easter or expose his kids to Troconis. Concentrate on YOUR children, buddy. He could've had a celebration with just them and his family.

The court didn't seize his computers. JD's attorneys filed a motion seeking to have a forensic expert review them.

It's somewhat unusual but they're dealing with litigants with a lot of money and one who is self employed. Usually there are forensic exams of cash flow and business value when people with money litigate and one is self employed.
Any insight as to why this evaluator did not finish testimony ... and reasons in general why such testimony would not be completed?

In today's Courant article the bags dropped in Hartford are referred to as "contractor bags".

Haven't they just been reported as garbage bags in the past?

Connecticut doesn't actually have buzzards but do have Turkey Vultures/Black Vultures. They are seen around road kill etc.
See, another bit of information you now have and will probably never use again. lol

My favorite was him pleading his case about MT.
She and her daughter were just wonderful to his children.
There really are no words.
One can only imagine how this sits with her family and friends reading this garbage.
He doesn't even get it.MOO.

Good catch! I read that but couldn’t figure out what was wrong or right....trash vs contractor bags!

It's all been lost in translation. I think people got confused because it was reported that they could see bloody bags on the video. I suspect they didn't know they were bloody until they confiscated them. I would bet they were contractor's bags. JMO.

If the family court remains on hold, could custody change after FD's August hearing? I am assuming that the August date is for pre-trial. If the case is held over for trial, could FD be granted custody as the "other" parent? The thought makes me weary...

I’m not even sure they said garbage bags. iirc they just said bags. One of the earliest reports said there was what looked like blood on the bags.

So then I thought they weren’t black garbage bags, but might be grocery bags like you get at grocery stores.

I use grocery bags to collect my garbage in and then put them in my garbage bin. IMO FD’s bags were not large black garbage bags nor contractor bags, that he put in garbage bins/dumpsters along Albany Ave in North Hartford, but smaller bags of some sort.

MOO, for now! But my opinions are known to change at the drop of a hat! (Whatever that means!)

ETA: What color and size are contractor bags? My ex was a contractor, also, but I don’t remember him having bags... for garbage or otherwise. I would think he did. I just don’t recall seeing them.

Lol-ok, but they still do the same stuff as buzzards when it comes to dead bodies of all types, right? I lump all of those kinds of birds together (bird watchers, don’t hate me for my ignorance!)

I know-I couldn’t believe this. And that’s how you know he had no intention of doing what he was told. If it seems ridiculous to FD, he just ignores it.

To be sure I am not a bird watcher and if I was I don't think buzzards would be my bird. lol Anyway I agree with you that he most likely disposed of her in the ground and not on the ground. I think we all need something to break soon so we can move on from road kill and vultures. lol

Enjoy isn't a word I would use to describe my viewing of the World Cup. More like intensive agony. I almost passed out during Holland vs. Sweden because I was holding my breath for so long. (My mom is from Holland)

I don't know why I subject myself to it but women's soccer especially is a passion for me.

Can't wait for the Olympics!
From the docket it looks like it was JD (not FD) who wanted the GAL replaced- presumably for sharing the unfinished report with FDs attorney MR since this was filed on 5/1/19.

Of course now we know (via Pattis) that the GAL gave the report to MR who gave it to FD who left it “on his desk” for easy pickup when Pattis’ couriers went to get FDs passport...

Reading their divorce docket makes me dizzy. As the judge said (quoted in HC “Charles Manson” article) they could have closed the court and heard only their motions for a whole year and the case still wouldn’t have been over...

The bags I see used by contractors where I live are usually black. I don't see how blood would show through them on a video.

Now that I think about it, the bags used in my community for landscapers are clear and huge.

Just sittin' around on a Sunday reading about vultures....This is interesting:

"In the United States, when someone refers to a buzzard, it means a turkey vulture, a member of the New World vultures. Elsewhere in the world, a buzzard is in the same family as Old World vultures – Accipitridae – in the Buteo genus. In North America, the Buteo genus refers to hawks or buzzard hawks."

"and denies knowing what happened to his wife."

and hasn't been seen looking for her
and hasn't stood in front of a microphone to say "the children need you, come back"

unless I missed any of that....
That... would probably be the wrong message to send to his murdering accomplice lol. JMO of course

Years ago, I saw a crime show where the guy did exactly that. Blood all over the bedroom. He was at work. Turns out, he left work, came home, murdered his wife, stuffed her into big garbage bags and dumped her off at his office in the trash dumpsters. Trash went to landfill.

One day, as the earth movers were “turning” the trash yard, her full leg shows up pointing towards the sky.
Now, that’s incredible. IMO.
