I know this sounds so simplistic ... but it seems to me that MT would be the key to splitting this case wide open . Apparently, she and FD are broken up according to his attorney. So loyalty and love would go out the window . If she were given some kind of “deal” to start talking .... I mean a few years in prison beats life . Idk if they have the DP in CT.

You would think this would be the case...but I'm not so sure if we took a poll of everyone on the thread that everyone would agree unfortunately.

In so many respects these 2 individuals seem to be mirror images of each other in terms of temperment, interests and moral code based on what we know via MSM so it could be that MT is only cooperating in a very limited way due to extreme pressure from her family that provided the funds to bail her out of jail as many on here have speculated.

MT (as did FD) had the opportunity to cooperate with LE from the first second JD was reported missing and MT was clearly identified in her arrest warrant as "not cooperating with the investigation".

MOO but I will wait for court to see if there is any value to MT or her testimony in this case. Seriously question if Atty. Bowman can do much to rehabilitate the image of his client once her history is described to the jury. Also wonder how the globe trotting and high flying MT will play with CT jury? My suspicion is not well but we shall see.

But MT stayed in a 'relationship' with someone involved in a highly contested and stressful divorce case for almost the entirety of their relationship and also chose to publicly 'flaunt-per the Hartford Courant article' her affair with FD in Farmington while JD was still living at 4JX. Not only did MT maintain a very public profile with FD in Farmington while FD was still married to JD but she also chose to bring a then 11 year old daughter into the mix of the situation with FD and his family and many on here found this fact difficult to understand. But many found MT lack of cooperation with LE from day 1 in this case simply unfathomable.

Ah hah! Possibly that could allow for separating a body into a couple of packages & burying later without the packages expanding due to decomp. I couldn’t figure out how that could occur without being in a freezer on a property. Will have to research that because there still should be disposed waste or chemicals I would assume. Somewhere.

Yes, tanners have experience similar to butchers as long time ago they butchered/processed animals as well as processed hides. Prior threads have much gruesome info about Mexican cartel process to dissolve human bodies in 3-6 hrs. But totally agree that FD had knowledge of how to 'process' a human body unfortunately.

Such a great post. What do you know about Andrew Bowman?

Very solid atty IMO and well respected locally. Not one to play the publicity card a la Pattis. Good track record for his clients and well connected in court circles. IMO he has his hands full keeping MT out of prison on this one so she can see her daughter graduate from HS. Tampering/Hindering I believe have sentences up to 10 years. If it is proven she had knowledge of any of the details of JD disappearance and chose to NOT cooperate with LE then I hope she serves a full sentence.

The thing that is sticking in my brain and simply won't leave is MT choosing Day 1 that JD went missing to not cooperate and frankly those pictures of MT at 4JX with LE hugging her daughter and then again running the press gauntlet at the Marriott in Avon with her daughter almost being used as a human shield against the press were haunting images that to me at least told me alot about MT. But we will have to wait until court to see what the facts of the situation are but I am haunted by the horrible optics of MT situation and not sure how her atty. overcomes any of it with a jury?

Thanks for the insight . I do think that she is as big a narcissist as he is for sure . However , when being confronted with prison you would think one would think twice before giving them the proverbial middle finger . That said ... rich , narcissistic , never being held to account for anything ... maybe she thinks she’s above the law .

As for A CT jury . Hard to say . Affluence runs abound in that neck of the woods . So the globe trotting may not be as big an issue as one might think . However , old money JD vs gold digging husband and his cocky “paramour” probably will be.

Trigger Alert! You will totally regret it. I had the opportunity to visit a leather processing facility in Turkey and also Morocco and the smells are still in my brain many years later. I often wonder who can’t see right through these types of people . Idk if I just have a sixth sense when it comes to those types . I can spot them a mile away. Was JD religious herself? Did she ever write about religion or about converting?

She may not have been religious, but sometimes it’s more about traditions that you are giving up for the new ones, that can be really difficult. I got the impression that, as she was with FD, she was charmed by her new Greek traditions. I cannot help but think that the charm would have worn off after a while, especially since it left no room for who she, herself, was. It’s like she was erased even before she was killed.
