So the house in Avon ( where Grandma got run over ) has that been for sale since FD and JD moved to Farmington? Meaning has it been vacant for years or made a rental ? Looks like a 70 mile drive from Farmington .... has LE searched it ?

If you have any money in. CT it takes at least a few years to get divorced if there isn’t an agreement . It can take a while to make an agreement. Lawyers generally prefer holding out for an agreement between parties that go to trial. I actually had to pay my ex husband as I made more money. We lived in Avon at the time . I kept house and 2 cars and still had to pay monthly

From family and friend experience's, divorce can take years. In neighboring RI, my parents divorce took over 4 years in the early 90's simply because my father was objectionable to it and fought it at all cost (3 lawyers quit on him etc). I'm sure differing state laws but if you are dealing with "difficult" party(s) then ....

I'm currently in CA. At some point the CA court would order a Forensic Accountant which which would have shed light on FD's financials (as I understand it). If he didn't comply at his upcoming court date, he may have know that this was what he was up against? What if anything was he hiding? IMO, speculation.

Wanted to quickly mention that I don’t mean to seem as if I am disinterested in anyone else’s idea other than the one I’m working for the WHR. I’m super focusing in case things come this way, since I’m local and can do the whole in-person thing. I don’t have enough knowledge to give good feedback elsewhere. Very well could go full New Canaan or any of the other locations people have mentioned. Great ideas & research, keep them on their toes!

Great pics! Did you see any poison ivy? Once I started looking for it I saw it all over Waveny. I guess with the spring we had here in the area that poison ivy is doing well this year. Wonder where FD ran into the poison ivy!

This is usually the most common form of supervised visits. It makes it easier to facilitate because they aren’t working around a professional’s schedule and makes for a more normal interaction for the poor kids. Most people of normal financial means can’t afford the cost of paying for professional supervision, so this also eliminates that barrier. That wasn’t an issue here. I wish they had professionals.

After my ex screwed up his supervised visits he eventually was only allowed time with our daughter in the office of the court appointed reunification specialist. It takes a lot of crazy to get to that point.

What happens after the case closes? Is a screw-up father then allowed unsupervised parenting time? I sure don't see Jennifer's mom EVER agreeing to allow parenting time.

I believe the 585 Deercliff Road property in Avon is just .3 miles from 4 Jefferson Crossing.

That is less than a third of a mile and can be walked in 6 minutes.

4JC is just over the Avon town line in Farmington.

JD and FD lived at Deercliff while building 4JC.

Yes, Deercliff is where the nanny ran over KD.

Deercliff is currently Very dilapidated and FD has been trying to sell the land with a contract to raze and build a new home.

Deercliff is the property that has recently been involved in a suit by an overseas buyer, based on FD's underhanded business practices.

Court documents were listed in a previous thread. Unfortunately, I do not remember which one.

Thanks! Ditto on Farmington. I did the railroad tracks and crossings today and will post tomorrow. Weather wasn't great to do Irwin Park today so will try tomorrow if we get any sun.

Can you think of any areas to search in/around walking distance from rear of 4JX or 80 MS properties? We keep going back to the 2 hr. block of time that according to the arrest warrant FD cell phone was at 80MS and then returned to 4JX. Trying to figure out what was going on during this time. Did FD just leave his phone at 80MS and head to the woods with a body/parts? The arrest warrant says that the cell phone travelled back to 4JX after the 2 hr period. We don't know if FD was with his phone during this period either and we don't know if the trip was made by vehicle or walked/run. We do know that the neighbor ner 4JX has a camera that caputured FD at his mailbox so presumably LE has quite a bit of information about 4JX driveway activity.

Did FD just go there to get some space from MT or was there a specific reason for going to 80MS? 80MS is an empty house so far as we know. Or, did FD not go to 80MS but his cell phone did because someone else took it there? IDK. I'd always wondered if the going back and forth between 80MS/4JX was getting the bags organized for the trashbin odyssey down Albany or were the bags already prepared and in the truck and something else was going on? Do we think LE has CCTV of the truck leaving 4JX with the bags in back?

The arrest warrant IMO isn't too helpful in figuring this all out (by design probably and that's ok as it must be making No Case Norm and his crew quite agitated!), as we don't know if any vehicles are involved during this period when the cell phone is identified as moving between the 2 properties. Its also curious that the arrest warrant doesn't detail what MT cell phone was doing during this period either and this is puzzling.

It seems like LE saw more possibilities for search locations closer to 4JX as we have seen them at the Hartford Reservoir. But I wonder if from 80MS that someone could have traveled down toward the Farmington River area on the Tuxis Country Club Property/Farmington Country Club? On the map it looks like there are 2 bodies of water towards the rear of the Country Club properties and I'm wondering if those might be worth a look or if you have seen LE searching that area?

Trying to figure out also if the Country Club property or surrounding area wouldn't be viable due to security cameras? Do you know what the security at the clubs is like? I'm wondering if its possible to walk across the course towards the river without being captured on camera. Most of the clubs I'm familiar with have different types of security from motion sensors to cameras and most of it can't be seen unless you know what you are looking for IMO.

Just thinking about how this time was spent and and don't think it was to do yoga or a workout!?!

FD travels 10 days out of the month. 1/3 of the time in EACH month that should be devoted to Fore Group. No wonder he is having business financial issues. Plus:
Next, where was he off to 10 days a month? World class water skiing champ tells me he travels the world on Farber's money. And peels off the top, whatever he can peel, and sends it over seas. Or takes it overseas. My best guess? Greece. To his sister, the architect. (Greeks, by the way, are generally VERY savvy business people.)

He always threatened to take the children to Greece and that she would never find them. Huh? Disappearing like that costs big money. "Boy Gone." And where did he get the money?

Take a look at this walking map for Farmington and it gives a good idea of where someone could walk from 80MS and 4JX. Many possibilities detailed on this map. Just curious about the CCTV coverage in Farmington? Could you stay away from cameras and avoid detection?

At this point I’m guessing the two hours was body and bag prep and clean up at 80 Mountain Springs. Possibly a freezer was involved, then several backpacks of body parts buried at West Hartford Res. I don’t know about the country club but I assume there are cameras everywhere so they (maybe)didn’t search there.
The waterskiing pond he had a history with, and the Fisher Meadows pond is a story in itself. I was there all day on 5/25 & 5/26 for the huge Avon soccer tourney. And the Avon Old Farms graduation was Sunday of that weekend also, attached to the Fisher Meadows Park. Not sure why they specifically searched Fisher Meadows, probably because of the location to the waterskiing pond & the car wash. Or because a lot of us were noticing lots of flies and then lots of oddly jumping fish. He would have faired far better to have just dumped this 30 bags in the dumpsters set up for that tournament by the road. Not sure why he didn’t.
