‘Justice for Jennifer’ bracelets raise awareness to New Canaan mother’s disappearance

NORWALK — As the search for Jennifer Dulos nears the eight-week mark, a local lawyer is giving out bracelets to express hope that she’ll be found and for justice to be done in her case.

The bracelets — which say “Justice for Jennifer” and “Find missing mom” — are available at the Norwalk law office of Alice McQuaid at 96 East Ave.

Generally people put their hands in pocket when they are feel unsatisfied with their looks, clothes or their actions.

RSBM

She could take her pick of those three.

Sometimes in the court system, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Which is why the court says, oh well, ok.

I get that but this is a pretty high-level case and it doesn’t look great.

I wonder if that is why MT & legal team slipped into conference room....avoidance?

I’m certainly not an MT fan but this looks like what a stalker or bully does, and like an FD person who ignores the spirit of not the letter of the law does. I’m appalled. Again!

Just happened to drive south in rush hr traffic from New Haven and needed to be at the courthouse? Really?
If they are there on behalf of FD to intimidate MT...that is scary. She should be shaking in her boots. IMO.

Interesting...an associate of Pattis was in the courtroom...

White also agreed to another request in the motion that Dulos be barred from contacting Troconis in any way, including through a third-party. The request by Bowman followed a motion by Dulos’ attorney, Norm Pattis, requesting that the pair be allowed to see one another.

“We have learned that Ms. Troconis believes in his innocence, and loves him still. We see no reason why the two of them should not be free to live as they see fit,“ Pattis wrote in the motion.

An associate of Pattis’ was in the courtroom Thursday but did not comment.

Judge continues case of Michelle Troconis, charged in the disappearance of New Canaan mother Jennifer Farber Dulos, after questions raised about her travel

They said this again about FD loving MT? What? So FD has a wife who presumably is dead and IMO that is due to FD, but he and his attorney think it’s fine to talk about his love for another woman like he’s a teenager? And let me say that if MT were my daughter, I’d be lecturing her nonstop with, “If someone really loves you, does it seem right that that person would want to drag you further into his disaster of a life? Have you never read the Gift of the Magii?”

Wonder what it would take for Judicial action on any matter in this case? Are the Judges simply immune to reaction due to the fact that nothing seems to work in the State of CT? Watch the video of Atty. Colangelo mentioning that the State had no idea MT was back in CT. Zero facial expression and just seemed to be making the statement for the record. Don't understand lack of consequences for either Bowman for saying his client was in compliance with terms of bail or client for not reporting to parole officer to get bracelet fixed.

MT could have been at 4JX for the past few weeks and LE would have zero clue. This situation is turning into a real life version of Where is Waldo?

Unbelievable.

If I were MT and her lawyer, I’d be raising the roof over this. It should not be allowed by anyone no matter how repugnant I find the defendant!

Agree. This is intimidation and potentially signalling as well IMO.

Good catch on the word "worth". I would take this to mean - charges BEFORE insurance pays their portion.

Use of the word “worth” here also seems a tell that the documents have nonmonetary or extra-monetary value for/to FD and NP for personal and strategic purposes and tend to objectify rather than humanize Jennifer. Her medical records are of great sadistic/narcissistic value and strategic worth to FD, if only for another bit of her privacy and autonomy FD seeks to violate, invade, control, and contort/distort/and leverage to has personal advantage and public image — no matter the price, the pain, or the cost to others.

FD did not ever value inherently JD or the Farbers or even the non adult family victims of his acts or omissions (or anyone). It’s always all about FD and how others can be leveraged.

Shameless and outrageous.

I hope rock bottom has very sharp edges.

IMO/JMO/MOO/YOLO

I don’t think she is frightened-and don’t necessarily believe that there hasn’t been contact of some kind between MT and FD. FD isn’t going to follow any rules but his own-he has already shown his m.o.

Except in the usual case of a sealed hearing, courtrooms are open to the public.

But surely that does not include a member of the opposing counsel, which has been told to stay away. Arrogant, flagrant, bad-faith behavior. Just appalling.

Curious as to why no reason was put on the record for continuing the trial, I found some information at the following site...Among the reasons listed for continuance in CT is the plea bargain:
OVA: Pre-Trial Phase

During the pre-trial stage of a criminal prosecution, there may be many discussions and meetings had about the case involving the prosecutor, the defense attorney, the court-based victim services advocate and the judge. The focus of these discussions and meetings, which typically occur on dates the case is scheduled for court, is on the possibility of resolving the case short of going to trial.

Most cases in the criminal justice system end during plea negotiation. A plea agreement is an agreement between the State's attorney and the defense attorney in which the defendant agrees to plead guilty to a crime and the State's attorney agrees to do something for the defendant. Typically, the State's attorney agrees to drop (i.e., nolle or dismiss) some of the charges against the defendant or agrees that the defendant will be sentenced to a shorter (or no) time in prison. Sometimes, plea agreements include a promise by the defendant to give evidence against other defendants in the case. (BBM)

HOWEVER, if discussions were held today, they were really, really, short!

The behavior of counsel (as well as the defendants)for both MT and FD is blatantly flipping the proverbial middle finger to the court and LE . IMO it makes them ( the state ) look weak and incompetent.... Barney Fife-ish.
