The per hearing meeting was probably where defense counsel dropped the “oh btw , MT has been in CT the entire time” bomb. Reason for the complacency of SA when disclosing that to the court ... judge already knew and decided not even to slap her on the wrist ... basically saying nothin to see hear just a “minor” bracelet malfunction ....

I just don’t get the complacencies of the court . These are potential ( and I use the word potential begrudgingly) MURDERS !! Their flight risks are huge ! They both have significant ties and probably money outside the US . It’s obvious the anklets are worthless ! As a citizen I don’t feel safe at all knowing these two as I’m sure many more are free to roam anywhere they choose . The only way they would know is if their attorney deems it appropriate to let the state in on the minor infraction of crossing state lines !! Just ludicrous

Fotis Dulos’ attorney asks judge to order release of missing New Canaan mother Jennifer Farber Dulos’ medical records; Grandmother continues fight for custody of couple’s five children

In a motion Wednesday afternoon in Superior Court, Norm Pattis, Dulos’ attorney, wrote: “The defendant seeks information about the diagnosis and treatment Ms. Dulos received in the weeks before her disappearance as such information may shed light on what may have motivated her to disappear.”

The motion said Dulos has possession of some billing records that show $14,000 worth of tests, blood work and other diagnostic treatment from February through April of this year.

Pattis said they want to review so they can evaluate whether “Ms. Dulos, alarmed by her diagnosis and fearing that she might be able to raise the children on her own, took steps to cause her own disappearance in such a way as to raise suspicions about Mr. Dulos.”

BBM: Unless Aetna & Jennifer’s doctors were planning a very big Las Vegas show with her as the featured cast member, or that Jennifer’s care providers included Hermione Granger or H.G.Wells, I fail to see how “such records may shed light on what motivated [Jennifer] to disappear.”

NP’s motion on behalf of FD is additionally offensive because he/it/FD absurdly ASSUMES / INSISTS that Jennifer wanted to disappear and knowingly, intentionally, and with premeditation, in fact planned to do so and succeeddd.

UBM: much slight of hand to unpack and head scratch in the underlined section:

[Jennifer] “fearing that she might BE ABLE to raise the children on her own” ...

Uh, it’s pretty clear JD didn’t fear that she might be able to raise the children on her own. She actually WAS ABLE to raise the children on her own — despite Fulos’s sabotage campaign and lack of financial or any other support.

Jennifer has been raising the kids single handledly since 2017 and — let’s be honest — from even before they were born really. Who does NP or FoDu think that they are kidding?

We have two years of Jennifer 100% all-in thoughout the Family Court actions and her unceasing advocacy on behalf of the protection, support, and best interests of the kids. Would she request and advocate on behalf of pursuing custody of the children so tirelessly and persistently if she was afraid she’d be able to raise the children on her own? The divorce file documents establish repeatedly and in detail that JD was fully able and wonderfully dedicated to and fighting for the object of raising her children on her own.

Maybe NP’s motion on behalf of FD goofed. Maybe he meant to type “unable.” Pretty big tell there.

I think the truth is: FD feared Jennifer would be able to raise the children on her own and further feared the court would award her sole custody and FD limited supervised visitation, if anything.

“raise suspicions” : notice how this language attempts to implant reasonable doubt. Jennifer was trying to “raise suspicions” that Fulos was behind the disappearance of herself she was motivated to orchestrate.

Today, Jennifer is just “missing” and was motivated to disappear herself out of fear she was able to raise the kids on her own, so she tried to “raise suspicions” about FoDu.

Really?

I don’t think so.

Finally, by referring in the motion to Jennifer as “Ms.” Dulos, NP/FD is planting little misogynistic digs at Jennifer as well as trying to confuse the jury about the fast these weren’t aggrieved former spouses — they were married at the time of all events at issue up until the point of Jennifer’s murder which was motivated by FD’s fear of losing out on the JD gravy train, sponging off the non-adult victim’s estate proceeds, having to disclose any of his criminal financial records, the the fear of additional emasculation by losing his control of the narrative, as well as a desire to punish JD and her family for not rolling over for him.

Plus, the use of “Ms. in the court filing by NP/FD helps to distract from the awkward fact FD was offensively humiliating JD, violating their wedding vows, betraying his family by living openly with side piece, and philandering as if JD and FD were simply single people unrelated parties in litigation but that she had this grudge against him for some reason and was just trying to thrown him shade with her offensive disappearance where in all of the FD is the true victim.

Houdini she ain’t.

My response to this is a work in progress, so will have to get back to you! I've watched missing cases for a long time and I realize this case has morphed beyond being a missing case, but to see victim shaming on the level that we have from FD/Pattis is something I've never seen as it seems totally uncalled for. I understand aggressive advocacy but a wholesale public thrashing of the victim and mother of 5 children is IMO unacceptable and never called for EVER! IMO FD will rue the day he permitted No Case Norm to storm down the path of public shaming of his wife.

The "Revenge Suicide" theory that is currently being pursued along with the request for JD medical records is simply a continuation of victim shaming IMO. I even wonder if the letter that FD opened to find out about the medical records was even addressed to him or was it addressed to JD? Does Pattis even know or care who the letter with medical information was addressed to? Perhaps neither Pattis nor FD care who the letter was addressed to as these are the same 2 individuals who together conspired to release a sealed Family Court Psych report to the press and saw nothing morally, ethically or legally wrong with this action either?

What a morally reprehensible pair are FD/Pattis IMO and what line won't they cross when discussing missing VICTIM JD?
