So, am I understanding correctly....FD's home is an "active crime scene" but blood, etc. found in Jennifer's garage. So we actually have 2 crime scenes? Does this mean possibly that Jennifer was killed in her garage and then taken to FD's home afterwards?

Use of the 'doctored' vehicle plates dumped in the FedEx box have not come out in the story that I've found yet. They weren't on the vehicle caught on cctv. Could these plates have been used during the disposal of a body, or some previous illegal activity? Reckon LE would be running the fake numbers through the system pretty quick smart.
There was a trip to Florida by Fotis Dulos, which involved purchase of a firearm at one stage, perhaps another similar trip in more recent times?

License plate information is in the arrest warrant (link to it is in post 691). The GF was part of a company that developed and sold these ridiculous (in my opinion) boots for rainwear. There is a link somewhere in the last thread I believe.

New Canaan Police have asked residents to preserve any security camera footage beginning on Wednesday May 22nd through Saturday May 25th.

It sounds like he may have been stalking/spying/planning prior to her disappearance. Maybe he used the altered tags at that time?

The plates were in the storm drain. The warrant said that.

So where I live, there are bar codes on the newer license plates. So a person could doctor away on a plate and it would make zero difference.

The Fed Ex box retrieved from the storm drain held an doctored CT license plate for his 2007 car. They have not mentioned the murder weapon because we don't know how she was killed.

Maybe. Also, they would have their (the STBX and GFs) cell data. If they were in the area, they would have pinged a tower. So, video of them would be awesome corroboration of them staking her out.

I think they were waiting for her to open garage door and pull in. Maybe he knew the code? He definitely knew what time she dropped the kids off at school. I’m sure they were both there if MT is so helpful in cleanup.

The only way they would have lots of money is if he had the kids and any trust fund money they got from their mother's estate.

His properties are not selling. He owes money. He would have needed the trust fund money to buy groceries, especially since he has been claiming poverty and sold no properties in 2019 (according to his answers about assets).

No offense to any and all lawyers here, but I still think a lot of them know how to drag out a case and keep billing his client. (As in my case!)

I wrote a long email to my Atty, very simple and easy to read and understand, explaining why my then STBX was in contempt, was lying about his assets, his company, and gave him the bank accounts he had closed.

I received a reply from the Atty saying he spent a long time trying to figure out what I was trying to say!

I called him and spent an hour explaining my email!!

That month I got a large bill from him for not only the hr long phone call.... but also the hour he spent “reading & trying to make sense of my email.”

Stuff like that incident kept happening during the 2 yrs before we went to trial!!

In defense, most clients have no idea how much time is spent on a single case. Some lawyers do overbill, others (like my husband) actually end up UNDERBILLING because you just can't add in every single minute (even with software that's available). Family law especially is more time consuming than most other areas in my experience (I was his paralegal and secretary). JMO and IME

I'll bet Pagatonia had something very legalesse to say about that. They have a sterling reputation for their products.

"Patagonia Styles Inc" sounds like one of those cheapo product ripoffs you find in stores in foreign countries that are not even good mimics of the original stuff. Like where the name is spelled wrong and the logo is a really bad rendering
