Every time I read about this poor missing woman I think about Chris Watts!

I'm still hoping the girlfriend will tell but if she's deeply involved that's off the table unless her attorney can come up with some kind of a deal.

I'd like to see him locked up permanently so those five children could be safe with their grandparents! Thinking of Susan Powell and how that turned out for her son's no matter how hard her parents fought the court system for their safety from those crazies!

You lose your daughter, become caretakers of five motherless children then use up all your lifetime savings hiring attorneys to keep them safe!

Not sure if I posted the picture of the State Police van arriving yesterday on Sturbridge in New Canaan around 10:30-10:45 am time frame. So far as I know this search wasn't posted in the media.

There were an additional 6 LE cars or so parked on the street not in the picture. From the picture you can see that the house isn't totally finished and there was a large sized dumpster on site that is next to the Police van (dumpster is red).

The quote of his explaining how he was in Italy, and his mother’s history of falling down. He shows zero regard or remorse. Sociopath.

Did he have a life insurance policy on her? Nanny only spoke Greek, didn't drive. Possibly a paramour in need of a job? Being in Italy is a great alibi. And he wrote the statement which surprises me was allowed. Along with the comment from JDs blog, all of this now...I wouldn't put anything past FD. JMO

I think it was pre birthright citizenship - MT's parents must not have been US citizens at the time.

This is a very powerful post and very relevant IMO.

The way I read the police report, JD was not home at the time of KD's accident. The report says "prior to our departure from the scene, the vehicle owner arrived and was informed about the incident." Also, in FD's translation of the nanny's version it mentions that after the accident, the nanny called JD, who then called 911. So JD only knew what the parties could communicate to her, and what FD told her (through his "translation" of the "nanny's" version of events. FWIW (probably nothing at this point).

I cannot imagine the horror and fear JD and her children lived through every single day of their lives living with such a volatile man. I wonder how much his behavior was an "open secret" around town, how it affected the children at school, how it affected Jennifer around the other school moms, etc.

Wow.. this solidifies my suspicion if JD was not at home.... I wonder who was present with Kleopatra when she passed away. It is also hearsay that KD told the nanny it wasn’t her fault... why was that mentioned? I mean they were trying to convince JD and the police and everyone..

ALSO, as I said before. After an accident like that, you cut ties... it just is the healthy thing to do... for the family and for the nanny... Any FAM or Insiders reading on here, write a book about all of this... I will buy it/read it!!

On the community spirit scale NC is second to none in the area IMO. So glad to see people stepping up to help and huge kudos to the neighbor of FD in Farmington that shared his video with the images of the Ford F150 Raptor with local police. Still don't get why Farmington police haven't done a broadcast asking for CCTV as there is alot of it in that neighborhood according to the TV interview done with the man that provided his footage. Baffled????

It’s probably the least offensive thing that’s happened in this case, but I can’t imagine the disgusting and tedious task of sorting through mountains of trash. Kudos to the folks that are taking up that task and I hope their time and energy is rewarded with the discovery of useful evidence.

So he came in 24th out of 33 in this competition? So NOT "winning"!

Big difference in knee strength between 35 yr old male and 50 yr old male IMO. Know many hard core skiers that ended up have joint replacement young as their knees and hips were destroyed beyond repair. I also was stunned in the reports that FD had his young children practicing for 10-11 hrs a day on the water. Childrens joints simply aren't up for this level of activity due to growth issues with joints. That statement truly was cringe worthy. Glad JD tried to put a stop to it as it wasn't healthy for kids IMO.

Wonder if they just asked about assets in the United States, surely Kleopatra must have had something to her name in Greece. Or maybe FD lied by omitting that she had overseas money so he could just take it - that sounds a lot more like his MO.

They get out of the truck and go into the house, where they stay until nightfall. She stays in the house and pours herself a double margarita. He goes out and disposes of the large item which contains JD's body. She doesn't know where he took it and doesn't ask. In this way, FD protects himself against a potential threat to his freedom.

If he was smart, he'd dispose of the body himself without telling anyone else where/how he did it to minimize the risk of discovery.

If she was smart, she'd insist on knowing and/or accompanying him when he disposed of the body to ensure that she had both leverage over him and a bargaining chip w/ LE.

It'll be interesting to see which one of these 2 morons ends up being the smarter one, that is to say, which one is slightly less of a moron.
