Police were focused on this hole in the ground at Dulos’ Mountain Spring Road property. Courtesy @News12CT - I remember these searches early on. I Wonder if the house on Sturbridge has this as well and if they are searching that area now for this reason?

The father of MTs daughter is involved in her life and helps with her training and attends her races with MT
He and MT own property in Colorado
Interesting! Ive noticed also that the father of MT’s daughter (GB) is tied to MT’s Florida residence as well. It sold in Oct, 2018 for less than asking price and was on the market close to 8 months. The condo is nothing spectacular and I suspect she was already living in Connecticut when it finally sold, as it doesn’t appear to be staged for potential buyers (personal items, photos) out in the open. MOO

Wondering why she didn’t protect herself more? Everyone is different, I guess.

I think it's common to think that we are safe in the daylight hours and less safe at night, under cover of darkness. The truth is, if there is a FD in your life, you are never safe.

Google Maps
It almost looks to me like it might be a man made pond to support the business. The Farmington River runs down one side of it and there doesn't appear to be a connection.
The business describes the entrance to be right beside the storage units at the top of the map. You can see a driveway if you look carefully.

JD talks about "the pond" in one of her articles written in 2o12 on Patch.com... about half way down... is this the same pond?

"It's also misty and rainy and foggy, and not the loveliest pond day ever. Though, I myself will readily admit that it's not my favorite body of water in the world. And it's muddy, and there's this Porta Potty and well, basically, go and ski and get a touch of sun and then… Come back home!"

Yes, the locals apparently refer to it as The Pond.

Hypothetically and legally, if they don't find her remains, would they be able to convict him of murder? We have to assume they have loads more evidence than what has been made public. Most compelling would be that he was getting rid of evidence. Does the court have to prove that he was at the scene and did the deed himself in order to convict?

As I've been following I get more and more angry toward FD and MT. Truly disgusting human beings. They've been able to sit with what they've done, see the destruction, analyze it, and continue not to help. How could you not have such overwhelming remorse for what you did and not break?

Also I was married to a man like this. Same, same. Except he never followed through with his threats. Men like this don't love their children. They see the wife and kids as their possessions. The fit they throw is on the same instinct level of a child when you take their toy away. Even if they don't play with the toy or even like the toy anymore - it is theirs - and all hell will break loose if it is taken away. They would also rather break the toy than let someone else have it.

From looking at the map and reading that quote, I think they are one and the same.

What are the chances more than blood was found in the garage? They sure came to the conclusion of homicide pretty quick IMO. They don't have to disclose that yet - could be saving it for the murder warrant ? Perhaps a strategy on LE part? IDK - it's just odd without a body that they decided fairly quick she was deceased IMO

Yeah, it’s not just the quantity of the blood, but also the nature of the blood.

Blood splatter is indicative of a violent event, and if it’s found in various locations, you know there were multiple blows (in a beating scenario).

They’re holding a lot back here.

Well, they know that JD was bleeding profusely in the garage, which is most consistent with an attack. Do they know for sure that she's dead? What's the alternative, being held captive somewhere? Not if FD and MT were involved.

And generally, that appears to be the case.

This was incredibly brazen, and very ill timed.

If you commit this crime at all, you are asking to be caught.

Commit it in the daytime, and you are begging to be caught.

I hope they find her today!

My hunch is that they could go ahead with a murder charge with what they have now. But since JD and MT are facing other charges and aren't going anywhere, LE has time to pull together a stronger case....and, with hope, find Jennifer.

In order to convict, I think they'd need to prove that she was dead and that he either killed her or got/hired someone else to do it for him.

Oh I definitely agree.

Body or not, murder charges are coming.

With FD on ice, and MT subject to GPS monitoring (and likely physical surveillance), there’s no rush.

Law enforcement must have countless hours of surveillance footage to view, lab results to receive, and other avenues of investigation ongoing.

It’ll be interesting to see what they do if he is able to post bond. I think there’s a decent chance they hit him with murder charges before he gets the chance to walk out that door.

The pond is pretty grody as is that part of the Farmington River. You want to be on it and not in it.
