Someone else posted (sorry I can’t remember) that his sloppy disposal of the trash bags were indicative of panic. So to paraphrase the other poster, let’s hope he was just as careless about hiding her body.
His morning run yesterday reminded me of a victory lap and showed his arrogance and a thorough disregard to his children.
MOO, his time will come.
Honestly, I think most of us agree that this seems premeditated, even if things went wrong. He knew where he was going to bring her, even if something went wrong in the initial act.

The arrest warrant stated that friends became concerned when JD missed the 2 Dr appts in NYC and they had tried to reach her without success. The warrant lists no times for the calls and doesn't indicate how many calls were made over the course of the day.

The other night people family with DV situations shared some stories about how its not unusual for someone that feels threatened to have 'check in' times with friends and/or family. This process becomes routine and helps the threatened person feel a bit more in control and connected to people that care etc. It sounded like JD had a solid friend group around her that knew her schedule and who she checked in with on a regular basis. It also sounded like Mrs. Farber was part of the information loop with the nanny and the friends so people knew who to call if for whatever reason JD didn't respond to a checkin text or call.

We don't know what arrangement JD had with friends and family to checkin or communicate but eventually the details will emerge. Sounds like a frightening way to live and so so sorry if this is the way JD had to live her day to day life!

IMO It’s safe to say that when you have 5 kids they would be texting after school (which got out at 12:30 and per friends I know with kids there, there is no lunch at that school on half days) with various info/requests/news about their day and probably became concerned or thought it odd that their mom wasn’t replying. My/most kids these days expect pretty much an immediate response from their mom. She may have had a formal check in process with friends, but she also had 5 kids who IMO would have said something to their nanny/GF “why isn’t my mom replying?”

Do they often go out of state for change of venue? I’m in FL. We have no shortage of venues, so not something I’ve seen!
I've seen it a few times. There was a case in Illinois a few years ago (I'm in the Milwaukee metro area) that had to be moved to my county for a change of venue. In that case I know the jury was sequestered as well.

I'm not convinced that FD was in Farmington in the early afternoon the day that JD disappeared. Per the arrest warrant affidavit, his cell phone was in Farmington at that time, but was FD with his phone? JMO.

Anyone know if they're at The Pond today? It's currently raining, so I'm not sure they'd be outdoors today, although I would hope that wouldn't impede them.

If he's smart, Boston. NYC is too close. I'm near Hartford, and EVERYONE knows about the case. IMO, Boston is the closest far place where he MIGHT get a fair trial.
He’ll get a fair trial where ever he goes. IMO

I believe it was stated upthread that they were planning to be there.

Apparently MT took a polygraph and passed. I wouldn't advise anyone taking a polygraph, but it's interesting to me that she passed. I'm really convinced she's not as involved as we initially thought.

Who ever killed Jennifer apparently wanted to make it seem like she was taken from Waveny Park. But the blood in the house screwed up that plan. Who had a motive to kill Jennifer and felt a strong need to make the crime appear like it was committed by a stranger in the park? I doubt there are very many people on that list.
Right. But it's so easily seen as a ruse - with the blood in the house, it's easily determined the violence happened there, not in the park.

So, her car at the park indicates the murderer was someone who knew she might use the park for running. A stranger wouldn't know that.

All fingers point to FD....for good reason.

I wonder if that's what she was doing in that three hour meeting.

I agree. An innocent man would be trying to help find his wife and see his children.

IMO Boston is STILL too close. I'd think Baltimore or DC.
True, I just meant it was the closest place that is removed from the immediate area, although New England is relatively small.

They’re not 100% accurate you know.

Oh wouldn’t that be wonderful! And maybe even one of MT taking a drag off a cigarette! :p
Cc receipts?

Seriously, the Courant has been PHENOMENAL in this case, as has Dave Altimari.
Absolutely agree! Courant has been on point and so glad to see some good investigative reporting.

How can FD be in possession of JD's blood whether it be on a sponge, clothing or towel and not be 100% guilty? How can he possibly explain being in possession of her blood?
