Busted.
Either he used the doctored plates on the employee’s truck OR he hid in his own Raptor and ran over to her house from the Fore Group house and killed her, dumped her body using her own SUV and then ran back and hid again in the raptor for the ride back to Farmington.
But more likely we now know how the doctored plates came into play.

Also, thanks everyone for the well wishes. I have my zen moment which is my wedding picture from two and half years ago and it’s my happy place. See thumbnail.

But enough about me.

We also know from Pattis own words that not all of FDs time is accounted for that day.

I am also willing to revise my thinking on the timeline as well. We simply do not know if the housekeeper entered the home and cleaned. She either entered and cleaned or she left when no one was home. If she left it’s entirely possible that FD was still there. It’s clear at least she never went into the garage MOO
Beautiful!

I’ve been reading along the threads but not every comment so I apologize if someone has brought this up already. I grew up in New Canaan and it’s been almost 50 years to the day, June 17, 1969, that Mary Mount’s little body was found at the Wilton Reservoir. She had been abducted at Kiwanis Park three weeks before. The town was consumed with it, and though there is speculation as to who did it, the murder has not been solved.

It might be worth it to check out the location where Mary was found for JD. If someone was wanting to make it look like it was a predator abduction, he might have picked that spot for some sort of emphasis. Couldn’t hurt. NC doesn’t have a lot of violent crime, unless that has changed.

It wasn’t in the warrant, and appears to be coming from inside the investigation.

That MT claimed she didn’t know the items they were dumping were related to the crime.

I truly wonder if MT has ever been anywhere close to Albany Avenue before and whether her 'dates' with FD included loading up the truck with garbage bags and placing them strategically around town. WOW! If she was able to pass a polygraph test giving these kinds of statements then she is one cool customer IMO.

Still wonder what you think about all the Pattis chatter about MT? Was he trying to imply that FD would also beat a lie detector test because MT allegedly beat the polygraph?

I realize Pattis is trying to advance the narrative and get in front of this story to push the process but tying the fate of his client to that of MT is something that I'm not sure is not without great risks IMO.

I think the misstep the prosecution made was in trying to get his bail increased to $850,000 without having to charge him with murder. The Judge said no to that just like the Judge said no to Pattis’s request that the bond be lowered. Prosecution laid out the FD’s DNA mixed with her blood on her faucet to try and accomplish that.

Yes, and Pattis has been capitalizing on the hole in the time line and adding. Thus causing the LEOs to have to counter the Pattis narrative.

Like the idea of the 'quiet corner' myself but not sure the esteemed Atty Pattis would want that jury pool.

Edited to add: Danbury could be interesting idea as its a largish area and has both urbanish and suburban pool. Could be deemed to be too close to NC though and I'm not sure yet exactly what Pattis wants in terms of jury pool. Fairfield would be most likely considered too close to New Canaan and is mainly suburban. Curious though whether Bridgeport residents would be called into Fairfield as this is a largeish urban city.

Curious point for discussion though. If you were Pattis would you want urban or suburban/rural pool?
I'm thinking anywhere on the shoreline since they are very diverse socioeconomic areas.

I was curious about the same. If MT's atty isn't speaking with FD's then why is the same intern at the table?

Also, MOO, I feel that Pattis is forcing LE to release info. Pattis went on the Chaz and Aj show this morning (I can't stand them so I don't listen but I believe they are a morning show, please correct me if I'm wrong) and he stated that an employee also drove the truck. Then we get the breaking news with the information that LE has the information that FD switched vehicles all week with this employee. "The employee was driving the Ford Raptor because he was traveling back and forth to New Canaan to work on the Sturbridge Hill Road house during the week and was then returning it to Dulos on the weekends." This is per the article @ Sources: The black Ford Raptor owned by Fotis Dulos’ company was in New Canaan on day Jennifer Farber Dulos disappeared — but he wasn’t driving it.

Tip that's working for me, if you're still hitting the Courant's paywall, put your browser in private/incognito mode. Although all articles today are going through so I don't know if they took it down.

Yup. If this was an unusual occurrence, then it’s all the more damning.

This investigation has been leaking. When you have multiple agencies working a high profile case, that sort of thing tends to happen.
It's been less leaky than I thought it would be.

I've wondered this too - how does this conversation go between FD and MT - hey want to go to Hartford and throw out all this garbage my employee left in my truck when he borrowed it? and neither of them see the blood? she's reported missing and he takes his phone to LE the next day? I just cannot imagine how you arrange something like this with your SO?

Hopefully, that lesson has been learned. Don’t poke the bear unless you absolutely have to and they didn’t have to on Tuesday. Pattis has his hands full with all the video stuff. If it’s taking this long for LE to go through all that footage he and his team will have to also eventually when they receive it; hundreds of hours of it. Hundreds. 400+ tips. This is a case with a ton of CCTV and it makes it a lot harder to defend with a timeline of events. Every time he says something the likelihood of it being countered with CCTV is huge.

The only information the police have asked for has to do with her black Chevy Tahoe. I’m guessing there isn’t a ton of camera footage between Waveny Park near where her car was found OR they wanted anyone who might have parked near where her car was dumped to let them know if they noticed anything. Like say a male jogger?
At the end of Lapham road is RT 106/Old Stamford Road. If you turn right at the end of Lapham onto RT 106 this road heads past a number of houses and eventually lands you in downtown New Canaan. There is a small stretch as you exit onto RT 106 of maybe 1/8th mile or so where there are only a few houses on left side of road and no houses on right side of road. But, once you pass Farm Road intersection on RT 106 then there are houses on both sides of the road and the closer you get to town the greater the housing density becomes. Here is google map to see the situation:

Your thoughts? Did the employee who has not been named contact LE first or did LE, through investigative methods, find him first? I know it hasn't been stated via MSM either way but i would be personally thrilled if the employee went to LE. It sounds as if he has been quite cooperative.

I don't like FD's access to trucks and equipment. In my neighborhood (in Fairfield County, CT), at least, trucks for both private contractors/landscapers and public works are constantly park on the sides of roads, doing their business (whatever it may be). A guy will stand in the road, holding up traffic and or flagging people by, while a guy/crew is digging, trimming, shoveling, whatever. We don't think anything of it, other than the fact that it's a minor annoyance. Someone here @MollyDDD mentioned a gut feeling that JD had been deposited in NY, which is right over the border from NC. For reasons mentioned above, I think this is highly plausible. A wealthy, wooded, even-less-densely populated area, but just outside the target of investigation.
My thoughts all along also. Have we heard anything about LE searching around the Pound ridge NY home of GF? We know
FD is familiar with this area as he built the large guest home on
the property. Anyone hear anything?

I’m behind, and am sorry if asked, but wanted to know about a video that was posted early this morning.

I don’t remember what time it was that I saw it (woke up, saw it, went back to sleep!).

It was an approx 11-12 min video of a news reporter (nbc?) interviewing Attorney Pattis.

Anyway, I just went back to rewatch it and couldn’t find it (didn’t do a thorough search yet). Has it been removed/deleted, or should I keep looking?

Or maybe I dreamt it?
TIA
Replying to myself:
Ok - Never mind.
I see another poster asked about it also.

You are absolutely correct about this Wilton/So. Norwalk reservoir and there was another case in the 7os I believe when another female was found at the reservoir as well.

For those not from the area here is a link to this beautiful area which is not open to the public BTW. There is street access to the property from Belden Hill Rd I believe and the Water Company employees park their trucks in a small fenced in area just a short distance off the street.

You know what would be great (I admit I have no proof or anything at all)? Would be if MT is still firmly on FDs side and LE found out FD had another side piece. That would be awesome! “Hey your boyfriend has a backup side piece!”

But MT is unlikely to do anything against herself at this point.

I hope the employee came forward, that he lives in Hartford, and is pissed off that FD tried to frame him by using his truck and later dumping evidence in his neighborhood. Speculation on my part and wishful thinking only - I don't know how LE knows about the employee or where the employee lives.

I know right? Nothing suspicious about that at all to MT? Especially and I mean especially when he actually has DUMPSTERS on Fore Group property! We know this because it’s been mentioned many times in MSM. I think all this MT talk from Pattis is a shot across the bow to MT and her legal representation, especially if MT’s team isn’t working with Pattis. MT wasn’t there! She has an alibi for the time of the murder! She passed a polygraph! Because all this is true it MUST be true for my client. Right? Lol. Nope.
