FD and MT attorneys must be working together based on what we are hearing from Pattis. How else would Pattis, or anyone, know MT passed a polygraph? What is proper protocol for how and to whom that info is released? MT’s attorney keeping his mouth relatively shut and letting FD’s attorney do the talking for him. This is ... weird.

I believe this, too, because I don’t think that they really have diverging interests. And Pattis isn’t making a mistake by making these statements. They are part of a well-concocted plan; the statements do not harm MT at all, and they keep her happy enough not to tell everything that she knows about FD. I am sure those two understand that as long as they both stonewall, they are both safe. Unless and until they find JD’s remains, and they probably both know that she won’t be found.

This is driving me crazy; there appears to be evidence of premeditation here-I wish LE could find out what happened, and get them convicted.

Just on my way to drive by Avon pond and I saw 15 police vans, cars, evidence truck just pull into fisher meadow rec area on old farms road. Not sure if it’s just a regular search but they all lined up and went to specific area

No media here, should I alert them?

Adding details: 2-3 of those black trucks that were seen before at Jefferson crossing as wel
Whoa! Is this the same pond as "The Pond" that has been searched recently? Has an evidence van been there before?

The thing is, @mitzy , he DIDN'T leave. She left, with her children, in what we have to believe is terror. Her filing for divorce, she acknowledged, would "enrage" him. He wanted the parahor and her kid to move in with FD, JD and their 5 kids. That ain't how we live in civilized society.
Sorry if I sound cranky. But I am.

I think she means “leave”, by finding another woman and not being “present” in the marriage any longer; at least this is how I took it. Of course he didn’t physically leave.

Probably that they were just doing their civic duty.

Given his bravado, if he wasn't guilty, you'd think he would be trying to say "Yes, I know we had a contentious relationship, I know I come across as a control freak, but I DIDN"T kill her!! I don't want my children to be without their mother. I don't want them to wonder where she is for the rest of their lives!"
But he won't say this because then he has to answer as to how JD's blood got on the items in those 30 bags. The faucet could possibly be explained away, but what about those 30 bags FD and MT. Riddle me that!

ITA. Pattis' statements are for MT and they are telling her, "Don't talk. If you don't talk about FD, he won't talk about you." Pattis is not looking out for MT but for his own client, and I hope her lawyer reminds her of that. Pattis is not her friend.

I find it very interesting that FD CHOOSES to jog outside his estate when he knows reporters are watching. Today as he jogged past the camera, without headphones this time, he looked back as if to say, "Don't you want to ask me something?"He likes this attention. He craves it even if he's committed an abhorrent crime. I'd love to hear a psychiatrist's opinion on his actions post bail if any are on this site. He could likely jog around the perimeter of his property, or in his big bad work out room with the Peloton bike and pounds of metal, yet he CHOOSES to go out where he is on camera. FD is a fantastic study of the EGO. He is likely an incredibly secure man.

Probably not, but I keep wondering if JD was placed somewhere along his running route.

If I am reading the report correctly, the employee left his truck every morning during the week and picked up the black pick up truck to take to NC. Could that mean that FD had access to the employee's truck every day for dry runs to JD's home and also to an area where he prepared a disposal site?

It just occurred to me that maybe the employee did not even know FD took his truck? If he has a nicer truck he may not want to use it on construction sites and hauling construction debris. Maybe he left his keys all the time in case his truck had to be moved. Maybe when he returned Friday his truck was nice and clean but he did not think much. Then JD went missing, FD was arrested, the altered license plates were found, maybe he added everything together. MOO. Just thinking about different things.

Right, that is not how you live in a civilized society with normal people. Him being a psycho who wants to move in his girlfriend has very little to do with him being born in Turkey, which is the whole reason for my comment.

I'm getting cranky over here too, because I sometimes feel some are trying to pin FD's actions on the fact that her was born in Turkey / raised in Greece, as if an American man couldn't do what FD has done. I probably don't need to remind anyone of Josh Powell or civilized shows / families like Sister Wives or the LDS people in Utah.

As for FD leaving, that'a a mistake on my part, I know JD left. I should've written that it's good he "morally" left to another woman, giving JD reason to physically leave. Given how she left, I too think she left in fear, but luckily for her he had another woman to pay attention to and generally leaving like that is easier IMO. It didn't work out for JD in the long run because of money. But from my personal experience abusers will abuse and a woman can usually only catch a break when the abuser finds a new victim

(edited to add: find a new victim through cheating, because a user doesn't "leave" until he makes sure he is 100% settled elsewhere.

having children with a wealthy woman is also a great way to make sure a user will have money for a while. people talk a lot about women trapping men with babies but it works both ways.

this is MOO, but I think he strongly manipulated and tried to control JD through the kids)

I think those jogs are for one reason only - to provoke the media into "harrassing" him so he can then claim he can't get a fair trial in that area.

This is the same man who called the police when reporters were outside of his house at the beginning of the case. He did not want the scrutiny then, but now he's suddenly comfortable going for morning jogs (in cargo shorts) on public streets when he knows the media is watching him? B.S.

I hope the media stops showing up on his jogging route. There's no story to see him jog anyway.

My guess would be that the employee used FD company vehicles while doing company work. The employee probably did driving errands and hauled stuff, so using a company vehicle while on the job makes sense to me.

What doesn't make sense is why the boss FD, who has several cars, would drive the employee's vehicle.

jmo
I don't know much about construction etc. but maybe driving the company truck that distance allowed the billing of gasoline to the company and also insurance would cover any damage to the truck.

I think he would drive the employee vehicle with altered plates to thoroughly hide who he was and what he was doing. I also don't think that Friday morning was the first time he drove the employee's truck.

I can only picture the smug look on his face and the personal satisfaction he feels while he's sitting in his little mansion and tying his shoes while getting ready to go out for his jog. Reveling in the attention, IMO.

Fisher meadows trail is about 2 mile south of the Avon ski pond that is on Old Ponds road and was searched previously

I'm not aware of a previous search at Fisher Meadows

ETA: I should have said 2 mile as the crow flys not per driving route

No. Just down the road. Playing fields, walking trail, Farmington River and a few ponds. Old Farms Rd.

Can you please tell us what Norm says about FD being at JD's house that Wednesday? I think he mentions it a couple-three times and it seems as if what he said was conflicting from one time to the next, but I could be wrong on that too. Thanks in advance.

Here is when it is first mentioned (it is like question 3 or 4):

Reporter: You had said he had been in the home the night before…was he there?

NP: No, in which home

Reporter: in her home

NP: a couple of nights before

Reporter: So he was in the home a couple of nights before..was he there at all on that day?

NP: He says he was not and I don’t think there is any evidence to show that he was

Thanks. And is there parking along the trail or is there a parking lot that walkers enter the trail from?
