I missed that she got temporary custody and I bet his attorney isn’t happy they haven’t released what they have regarding his cell phone Friday morning so they can work on his alibi IMO

Wondering if the Chevy Suburban FD wants back is connected to the license plates altered with adhesive tape found in the storm drain?

Arrest Warrant said the license plates when queried unaltered came back to a 2007 Chevy Suburban as Status cancelled and registered to FD.

We all have been wondering when and what vehicle the altered plates were used on.

I'll bet there was some kind of transfer from the plates to the vehicle or from the screws to the plate.

Then if those plates show up on CCTV traveling along in just the right places, won't that be fun?

I love that the tape FD used to alter the plates will also show up on those shots when enhanced by the FBI.

This case could make it to Forensics Files!

That is actually a very good point. Even if you don’t like someone ... JD is the mother of your 5 children. You can’t at least express grave concern for her for that reason? As a civil, decent human being. IMO, he looks and is GUILTY. Both he and NP and MT know that.

At FDs court appearance, NP said they could account for FDs whereabouts most of the day on the 24th and that he had an early morning meeting with an attorney at his home that day.(NP also mentioned a phone call to Greece). Not to trust anything NP says, but this was said on the record in court. I have not heard it mentioned since.

How early would that meeting had to have been, given the short time frame for JD to leave for her appointments in NYC? 7 or 7:30 am? Was it just incredible bad luck that FD arrived just as JD was getting into her car to leave to NY? Thus the encounter in the garage?

If the early morning meeting did happen, it could be that FD realized he was cornered, no way out (note that one of his “divorce attorneys” named in the media, MR, is a specialist in employment law, not divorce and custody, as JDs motion for contempt dealt with FD hiding his business assets, so maybe FD realized at that meeting he had no way out). And this drove him into a rage and he immediately went down to take her out.

I have not heard NP mention anything more about the early morning attorney meeting since then, so maybe it was just NP blowing smoke, but he said it in court on the record. MR is also one of the attorneys who has asked to be dismissed from representing FD, so perhaps if there was such a meeting that morning, something FD said makes MR, in retrospect, need to withdraw (“for good cause”). Assuming it was MR he met with, he had other attorneys as well.

All MOO, more hypotheses, but I’ve been wondering about the morning meeting.

I could see him flying into a rage, but this was premeditated. The license plates tell us that.

How long does it take forensics to garner needed information on these devices/vehicles?

And frankly I agree with the lawyer who said that the brazen refusal to return possessions as if the cops have carte blanche to trample on 4th Amendment rights is pretty disgusting. I had a cop in NH once take my phone and not return it and I hadn't done anything wrong.

They have a warrant. No fourth amendment rights have been violated.

He's not getting any evidence back until after trial.

I've read that the atty. FD used as alibi on Fri. morning was
also the same atty. who quit his civil case and that he rebuked
the alibi.

Norm Pattis is FD's defense attorney who told the press that FD had an alibi, supported by another attorney. He doesn't say the attorney's name.

According to mytaxbill, Fulos previously owned a 2007 Suburban and paid it up to 2014, which means he sold it.

Which begs many questions:
Why would FD still have plates belonging to a vehicle he no longer owned or had in his possession?
Why would FD/or/MT alter those same plates with adhesive tape?
Why would FD then dispose of those plates with the adhesive still on them in a storm drain on the evening of the 24th?

I don't see why coming from another country would make him less suitable for her. Plenty of marriages like that work. He got his degree, found a good job and probably had big ambitions. I'm sure she was charmed by him. There's no guarantee that people who seemed perfect at first won't change.

They come from different backgrounds. I have no doubt he had his ways of charming her and she fell head over heels, but I wouldn't expect her wealthy Jewish parents, upper class in NYC, well educated, successful people to so easily accept someone who is in this country by himself. Their backgrounds were just very different, and I wouldn't be surprised her parents were skeptical of him.

FD sweeping his driveway, cleaning up the lawn clippings and watering the flowers - like everything in his life is normal. Meanwhile - his wife is missing and presumed dead. Even in a mean, contentious divorce - as a father of five children - who the missing woman bore for you; wouldn't you be sad she was missing and not outside going about your day? Yes, you would - unless you are the one who killed her. JMO

This yard work is such a farce as there has to be a lawn service routinely caring for these properties.

The pathetic thing is that FD doesn't know how bad "normalcy" makes him look in light of his children's plight.
