While searching for the Pound Ridge, NY address three different addresses keep coming up for JD's parents home. 40 Mallard Lake Rd, 45 Mallard Lake Rd and 38 Mallard Lake Rd. The pictures online of 40 and 45 Mallard Lake Rd appear to be the same house and although 38 Mallard Lake Rd was built by the same architect it appears to be a different house than the one pictured at both 40 and 45. I believe the house pictured at 40 and 45 Mallard Lake Rd is the one that belongs to the Farber family because of the guest house on the property that matches the modern guest pavilion listed on the Fore Group website.

Mallard Lake is interesting and there is easy access to it across the lawn from the house. I wonder if they searched that lake. I would not be surprised if FD put JD's remains there as an insult to her mother.

And if he went straight there from NC it's a very short distance and there is another route home to Farmington straight up from Pound Ridge which appears to be only a few miles more than the route he probably took to NC.

For those concerned about FD getting off because the body hasn’t been found (and might never be), it looks like Tad DiBiase, a former US Attorney known as “the no body guy”, is on this case.

His public professional Twitter account says he’s been interviewed by Lester Holt for NBC Nightly News last week but apparently it hasn’t aired yet.
Anyone see that interview?

Interesting how both FD and MT have world-class athletic children...going to great lengths to make sure their children succeed as an attempt to make up for their own failed dreams perhaps. They look at their children as an extension of themselves. I wonder what type of childhoods these two had.

Let's say that FD drove to his property in NC in the early Saturday morning, the day after the murder. Has the body been there overnight? How come that his employee didn't see it when he was working there on Friday?

So we don’t know if it was FD or his employee working there on Saturday morning. Hopefully LE has surveillance of which truck was there and an explanation of what they were doing there.

Exactly. I have a hard time believing FD would have driven back to NC that night after returning back to 4 Jefferson Crossing following the Hartford trashbin odyssey of stupidity and storm drain dump. At some point the evening of the 24th he had to (MOO) be made aware of the fact that JD was reported missing via Silver Alert. That’s awfully risky. The very next day at 2:47 pm he turned over his iPhoneX to police. At some point LE put a tail on FD and we don’t know when that occurred. But he had one until he was arrested along with MT.

All we know is that the former employee/contractor of the Fore Group was working at 61 Sturbridge Hill Road (the sight of the loud banging at 5 am on the 25th) the week of and day that JD went missing but we don’t know anything about work on that particular day (25th)on the property.

Per my timeline and CT NBC, WFSB and WTHN we do know that neighbors spoke to the media about the banging and that LE had searched the property in question several times and that there was a large metal dumpster on the property which was also searched. That’s all we know as LE has not publicly commented on any searches for the most part per their spokespeople.

Even though LE is combing ponds and stuff I’m starting to feel more strongly that she was buried on a property he had access to. Only so much you can control with water burial. I still believe he planned this for months and knew where he was going to dispose of her. JmO

I do agree with you that water seems the least controllable - both in terms of access without being spotted and with the potential the body would rise. And, I also agree that he planned this for awhile - perhaps starting just as a revenge fantasy but eventually becoming something he felt he had to do.

I want Jennifer found for all the usual reasons....but also to show him that his planning failed.

That's what I remember also. Now a PI was hired(supposedly)...is he working pro bono too...doubt it. FD is still going to have to cough up cash for all this extra stuff.

How would the financials be contracted on cases like this? The guy is in serious financial trouble with significant McMansion properties as possible collateral? Or are all those held or being worked on with borrowed money?

He reminds me of Gerry Spence's methodology. Spence has never lost a criminal case either as a prosecutor or a defense attorney but probably didn't take too many high risk cases like this.

I think the MOST frustrating aspect for LE about the dismemberment (it’s abhorrent, evil etc..) theory is that if her dismembered remains were disposed of along with the other bags in Hartford along Albany Avenue is that they were likely incinerated by the time LE got there. NBC CT spoke to an unnamed employee at MIRA who said as much. What LE has mainly been doing since is sitting through tons of shredded trash at the MIRA site with canines that had not yet been through the incinerator. And so far, we haven’t heard that they have found any remains. And they have the DESPP Lab at their disposal that can get results back to them within hours of finding something that they can test. This sucks!

It looks similar to/like the Jefferson Crossing home. I’m going mostly by the driveway that goes thru a small passageway to back of the house parking area, located on right side of the house.

Hello friends,

Spent the last hour driving around Avon and Farmington. Couldn’t find the breaking news today .

Drove down Mountain Spring Road, foregroup has 5 for sale signs listed. The ones you would expect on 84,88 lots but also ones further down the road. I’m guessing in the range of 120-128 Mt Spring but I can not find why foregroup would have have for sale signs if they do not own the land? Maybe selling for someone else? I’ll attach a couple photos I quickly took of how hidden these lots are.

I’ll also attach a photo of Ely pond.

I drove by all key points in the investigation up in this area. I tried to think like FD but I think that’s impossible. Through the whole trip I was looking as best as I could in the woods hoping to see something that wasn’t right, or smell something that wasn’t right.

Like all of you I’m hoping there is news soon
