Thinking about this leak regarding Jennifer’s bloody clothing.

I wonder if someone involved in the investigation is annoyed that murder charges have yet to be filed, and is trying to pressure the DA into bringing charges.

Excellent possible theory but leaks thus far have seemed to be mainly strategic IMO. But I'm betting it is a direct shot across the bow at Pattis and Bowman from State's Atty. I think the underlying message is 'Game On'!

I know but it is so hard to watch this from afar and think about what Jennifer’s family is going through. I am counting on WS to keep my southern redneck side in line please!

MOO, FD is giving it his last few hoorahs. He
knows he can't sustain the fights and his business is already leaking down the drain.
Soon, there will be no business to protect and
the outgo is huge and no incoming finances
to continue to support the drain.
He's just going through the emotional temper

Now I'm truly wondering if he won't self destruct before being held accountable for

This is soooo crazy ! I keep thinking that FD is in deep and I mean Mafia style deep . Why on earth would he act as a go between for his attorney and wife ? I mean if I was the wife there would be no way in Hell I’d agree to have lunch with my estranged husbands client . What was their connection ... was FD and JD couples friends with these people ? If so you’d think that JD and KW wife would compare notes , I find it extremely odd that both of these men were serial abusers and managed to find each other randomly . Further ... why is KW out on only 5k bond for rape ? LE needs to keep a serious eye on this guy . In light of how personally involved these two are I wouldn’t put it past KW to know where the money is.

Here’s another theory:
LE has stopped searching for JD. Per earlier post on WS.
They stopped bc JD bloody shirt and bra means dismembered. That may be why they were so focused on the recycling site. And continued to search, all over Connecticut not for her body, but body pieces.
There is no time limit to arrest for murder.
They had to have time to retain dna experts/md’s/body part specialists to prove amounts found at site were sufficient in quantity but more important, diversity, (different body parts show up as different cell structures,) so that LE would have evidence that she indeed is dead, and we know that she’s in the recycle site. Unfortunately, so much was burned before we knew to look there. But now we have enough to move forward.
Eyou. What a human can do to another human. At least animals kill to eat. We kill animals to eat, as well. BUT,
We are the only species that kill for pleasure.

Got it - so let's just say there is a potential second person involved in the clean up but have no idea who this person can be- MT supposedly has an alibi for the morning and I think we all agree something happened to JD between 8am ish and before Noon (housekeeper arrived). So that timeframe is where a second person could be involved IMO.

Remodeling Contractor's Assoc. or at least members on it. And didn't FD advertise as
a 'remodeler'? (Which is what builders do

They were both divorcing. Common link. Both abusive, so personalities matched. FD was paying big bucks to other person to keep GF away from him. Important client bc big bucks.
As to why FD tried to set the estranged couple up? To kiss and make up? Other person’s business was allegedly falling apart bc of the divorce. So, I suppose it could be to reconcile. To save marriage to save him.
However, what I really think was another reason. It was not for anything good. More time will put some more pieces together. This three way scene has spun off more rabbit trails that need to be followed. DA has cast a very wide net. They are trying to snag some very big fish. And could be more fish than just these two.

I think the language is “within a reasonable period of time.”

It’s always well before trial though, as the defense needs to see everything before they can formulate a defense.

IMO, its a legal maneuver from FD IMO to yet again delay and abuse his due process rights in court in his ongoing battle with GF about repaying the money his late FIL loaned FORE. FORE was supposed to have used the funds borrowed to build a house and once the house was built and sold, the loan would be repaid. The issue is that FD NEVER repaid the last $2.5 million borrowed.

If you look at the file in the GF civil action she has been claiming that her late husband loaned FD money. FD however believes the roughly $2.5 million from his late FIL was a 'loan' and as such does not have to be repaid. There is a very clear loan agreement structure in the case file and zero evidence in the file in evidence to explain how the funds advanced to build houses represent gifts so far as I can tell. No doubt the money has been used or hidden by FD so other than the assets of the house it is unclear whether FD has the liquid assets to pay GF the $2.5 million if the case is ruled in her favor. The court has allowed GF to place a lien on $500,000 of assets belonging to FORE to protect them on her behalf but GF has asked the court to provide additional coverage of her claim amount of $2.5 million.

So, getting to your question is a bit of a long and winding road. But here goes. GF just asked the court to have liens placed on FORE assets to cover her $2.5 million claim amount (no court decision on this yet). So, what does FD do when this happens? FD say OK if you are going to do that then I want you GF to give me a bond for an equal amount to what you are asking for, $2.5 million, and then if you lose this civil case then this bond can be used to cover my legal and other expenses. He makes his claim based on the fact that by doing what she is doing GF is attempting to ruin his business and reputation along with some other claims. Mmmm.

So, now the court has two things to do and this takes time to schedule. First they have to rule on GF motion for coverage increase to $2.5 million and FD request for bond from GF. This is all going on while the attys are going back and forth on the MT deposition.

IMO FD did in the GF civil case exactly what he did in Family Court IMO which was use every delay tactic he could legally use to not provide financial information to GF attys. He also has been scheduled in that case to be deposed to give evidence and has been a 'no show' twice now. This last 'no show' was roughly 2 weeks ago and so far as I can tell a new deposition hasn't been scheduled. At some point the court will have to deal with this issue even it means he shows up and takes the 5th just as we saw him do in the Family Court matter.

GF attys however have recently been pursuing MT to be deposed in this civil case as it is believed that MT has intimate (no pun intended!) knowledge of FORE business operations as she functioned as the Manager of FORE for nearly 3 years.

The GF civil case is active and moving forward after being stalled by FD for a long time. Its a tough situation now financially for FORE as FD hasn't been paying all his trade creditors, property taxes were just due in July and some of these trade folks have filed mechanics liens on various of the FORE properties. GF has to move quickly as IMO the FORE house has been crumbling now for awhile financially as she is looking to get $2.5 million in her claim.

Did they not determine that FD’s phone never “pinged” near New Canaan? We discussed this, I think. About how he didn’t take his phone to New Canaan, but he did take it into Hartford to dump the evidence. Or maybe it’s a brain cramp...I could have sworn that was actual info...maybe just speculation between some of us that he left his phone in Farmington

Totally!! This is a huge network of quid pro quo abusers club IMO . Yesterday was a huge day in this case . The dam is about to burst . Idk if I’m allowed to post a link to KM’s divorce court records here but extremely interesting read even to those of us laymen . Look at July 1 and July 31 ... just yesterday !

It is also possible that in addition to the bloody JD clothing in the bags, LE found something suggesting such a terrible act during the search at 80MS. Phone pings suggested FD spent all afternoon there the day she disappeared (could be a decoy, but he did take phone to Albany Ave and probably needed to be on top of the news).

LE searched 80MS all day starting early the morning after FD and MT were arrested, with the big crime van and more than a dozen police vehicles, and investigators arriving carting briefcases, and the MSM showed LE with a hose pumping out the septic tank there. That same day LE were still searching in NC, but after that they switched focus to MIRA and never went back to New Canaan again (with the exception of possibly a visit to Sturbridge Hill after neighbor reported banging- but this search was not of the length or scope of the 80MS search and I don’t recall if that was before or after the 80MS search).

I always felt they had found some evidence of JD at 80MS given its scope and that LE turned attention to Farmington area after that, and that evidence could have been very gruesome.
The mops and sponges make us all think of the cleanup at Welles Lane (JD house) but it is possible there was some cleanup at another site like 80MS as well. That could be why there are 2 mops, or of course it could be that there were 2 people using mops at one location.

And one final consideration, if LE has extensive video of FD throwing bags out on Albany Ave they likely have some footage suggesting whether some of those bags were quite heavy- how much effort needed to get them into the dumpsters, etc. A bag with clothing and sponges would have shown very differently being tossed, than a bag that was much heavier and cumbersome- I’m no expert here and don’t intend to become one, but JD weighed 120 lbs and 120 divided by even 4 or 5 would still not be a casual toss over ones shoulder. They could likely try to infer whether there were heavy bags from the videos. I don’t envy those who have to spend their days entertaining and imagining all the permutations of this terrible possibility. And feel even more for JDs family having to grapple with these kinds of terrible possibilities of her fate.

He hasn’t even been charged yet with her murder-it definitely waits until after charging, but before trial. The current charges are “tampering with evidence (of a serious assault), and hindering prosecution” (of a serious assault). And for that they’ve shared with FD’s attorney the videos of FD and MT dumping the evidence (which his attorney claims is of such poor quality that you couldn’t identify anyone-ridiculous)
