at his first hearing, figuring out how to offer

If NCPD says there are no searches going on now, it sounds like things are done.

Praying that they have what they need to put up a solid case.

My recollection was that one of the last searches was in lake up in Farmington. But my sense is that there was must searching done that was not made public. The search warrants are sealed for I think another 45 days so we will have to wait and see.

My hunch is that LE are still following up on all the tips that came in from around Central Ct.
IMO there were quite a few tips and searches that were not made
public just as there were many volunteer videos
that came forward from the Farmington area.

As soon as LE obtains dental records, though, JD is identified. Removing her clothes post-mortem would be a lot of work for an exercise in futility. I agree this murder was planned, but I still believe JD's body was not intact at the end of that day. Whether it was in the garbage bags, we don't have enough information to know.

FD's divorce lawyer's involvement in this crime, though, is an interesting twist. I 100% believe he was going to be FD's alibi for that morning. NP can kiss that alibi goodbye, because that witness' testimony is now worthless. The lawyer's strangely worded motion to withdraw in the divorce case also now makes sense. He is a witness or potential co-defendant in the criminal case and that creates an actual, unwaivable conflict with FD.

Could the lawyer have also had a role in disposing of JD's body? NP has been beating his chest that FD did not possibly have enough time to kill JD and dispose of her body. He didn't need extra time because someone was handling this problem. Is this person a link none of us anticipated? I think there is much more to come, but I do not think this is not the last we have heard about this lawyer's involvement.

Not unheard of...I know of someone who married rich, and part of their “marriage contract” is that she is not allowed to get fat, or however they worded it. There is some specific amt of weight that she cannot gain; no word on what happens if he does. Hearing this stunned me.

I think before FD 'allows' GF, or any others who
have large claims on the unsold homes, to take them by judgments, he will see to it that
'Greek Lightning' might make them disappear.

At least the property is still worth something-and I think his houses are ugly anyway; I’d rather have the building lot.

Agreed. When it comes to trial he will have a public defender. All of his high end attorneys will have forsaken him. JMO.

Strangely enough, their daughter, though incredibly wealthy, is really nice and seemingly well-adjusted. I think a lot of things are different in those families than they are for the rest of us. I just wonder why JD might have let that freak push her around. My husband knows what would be coming his way if he even thought of pulling some of that cr*p with me.

According to court documents obtained by News 8, but first reported by the Hartford Courant, the victim alleges Fotis Dulos reached out to her on May 16th to try and facilitate a Facetime conversation between the couple.

The complaint alleges Dulos told her that Mawhinney would like to work things out but with conditions that they would sort out the “legal mess” and go away on vacation together in order to rekindle the relationship.

The warrant says that the victim then told Dulos she would consider it under her own conditions, including that he treat her with respect, go to Alcoholics Anonymous and get counseling.

I read alll about it in court records . It has to do with the sale of Deerfield property .. FD shady shady shady bullying tactics on full display
