Something had to be in it for him to intervene. Wonder what that was. It’s IS interesting that FD had such a sudden interest in getting them back together. And seemed kind of intense calling her the next 2 days. She obviously had a good hunch to get wary from there. Why would he invite her back to his home? I’m not buying it. He’s only interested in doing things that help HIM out- not other people.
I can imagine that when FD saw on the news on Friday 5/31 afternoon that they were searching the drain in front of the Jamaican bakery on Albany Avenue, he realized they were onto them. I remember on the news that day seeing the fire truck, ambulance, and red tarp, laid out at the sewer drain in front of the bakery. He must have been #$& in his pants when he saw that. Then they announced in the media they hadn’t found anything there (very strategic) and he probably bounced back to his superpower smarter than all you, see there, mode, but of course they had found something and that night they came to take his DNA. We all know his demeanor then from the widely listed videos.sleuth66, thanks for the trip down Memory Lane! It helps me feel the fear that must have engulfed FD with that first ring of the fancy doorbell......the sound of justice coming. He has no regard for societal rules. Not only is he a narcissist, he is a classic sociopath.IIRC, Judge Heller noted in her custody order that FD had zero regard or respect for directions or restrictions from the court. If nothing else, he can be counted on to do exactly what is is told not to do.
Wow. Wow. Wow. The plot continues to thi

And we now may know that in one of the bags they recovered prior to going to the dump was her T-shirt /bra - mops and who knows what else ? I’ve always thought there was something found that encouraged them to sift through the garbage center for so long JMOI can imagine that when FD saw on the news on Friday 5/31 afternoon that they were searching the drain in front of the Jamaican bakery on Albany Avenue, he realized they were onto them. I watched this video again, obviously it’s clips pasted together. To me it looks like FD arrives in his cargo shorts and T-shirt with his signature camelback, in the rented black SUV, and is all stressed and irritated with LE who’ s speaking to him as he gets out and slams the door. The videos on UK Daily Mail don't fit with their reporting.
Looks like FD arrived, clad in jeans, in MT's white SUV.
We see him pacing outside his home in jeans.
Then later we see him in different clothing getting into his rented black SUV.
IMO they were taken by surprise.

Approaching 70 here, citygirl! Life is good.Feel the same way. Very encouraged and believe there is much to come. If wrong, I will join you in the corner and suck my thumb. At 70 years old I still remember how gratifying it was when I was little. LOL.

So it must have been the 31st because the night of the 1st MT was at the Residence Inn with FD and they were arrested and taken into custody at 11pm there. MT was in the NC jail from then until she posted bond on that Monday June 3. LE was back at 4JC the night of the 5th. I don’t think MT was there then, that wouldn’t fit with the context of your recollection and we certain,y would have heard about it in the media if she had been. She did meet with LE the next day at Bowman’s office. Thanks, brilliant summary! Should pin this to the top of the thread so it doesn't get lost. So, must be the first time LE was at 4Jx or the 1st. But what I don't understand is why LE didn't take the computers on the first trip to 4Jx? I remember it being late and dark so it must have been the 1st at 4Jx. Will keep looking. This was super helpful!
Should also look into the quick resale of the shell-game house by the employee (at a loss).
Might also be interesting to consider why Fore Group might have purchased this shell-game property in the first place in summer of 2016 (at the time that FD and MT reportedly hooked up). This property, a small and shabby (by Fore standards) 1961 4br technically in W. Hartford but conveniently just around the corner (or across the W. Hartford reservoir) from 4 JC, was quickly subjected to some cosmetic fixing after the purchase (rather than Fore’s usual tear down McMansion rebuild approach).
Was this going to be an outpost for MT and her daughter in the “one big family” scenario proposed by FD that we’ve all made so much about? As expansive as 4JC is, it’s listed as only 6 bedrooms, which wouldn’t have accommodated both families in style (unless MT was maybe sleeping in the Fore offices, or JD was supposed to give up her locked writing alcove suite to MT?), so FDs proposal that they all “live together in 4 JC” would have required at least a temporary relief valve outpost somewhere.
After JD left in summer of 2017 we know that MT and daughter were fully moved in to 4JC by late fall. The shell-game property then went on “sale” to the employee with MTs involvement. 6 months later, with another quick resale (at a $50K loss) a few months after that.
Thank you for the synopsis @sleuth66! What did FD pay for the property and how much did he sell it to his employee for? TIA
Sounds like FD was hedging his bets, just in case JD didn't embrace the new "lifestyle" he was proposing or kicked him to the curb for suggesting it.
It could have been a way for FD to entice MT to relocate to CT with her daughter; a job offer, complete with company housing and a vehicle. An offer she couldn't refuse.....
It seems like Pattis has a true dilemma with having a client that has such a well documented history in court. That Judge Heller quote about FD lying IMO is quite a powerful statement as to who FD is what he is all about. Given what appears to be habitual/chronic lying habit, you just have to wonder what if anything FD says is true? Not even sure Pattis could ever even have him testify on his own behalf.
This latest episode of FD playing 'cupid' for his buddy KM via going around a no contact order really has me wondering if anything anyone says, including Judges, has any impact on FD? There appears to be no regard for telling the truth and certainly no regard, that we have seen, for the law. Not sure how you can put up a defense of someone like this? Not worried about No Case Norm figuring something out BTW. Just am curious how he works around what appear to be personality and character 'issues'?
MOO
Funny you should bring this up as I've been thinking about financial crimes in this case a bit today.Should also look into the quick resale of the shell-game house by the employee (at a loss).
