I get the charming narcopath or whatever folks are calling FD these days and how MT stupidly seemed to swallow the bait, hook line and sinker.

Yes, she seems like a total idiot to not see through this textbook case of narcissism that if she had been paying attention in her abnormal psych class in college the chica would have run for the hills! Got all this....

I'm not giving MT any points for intelligence and certainly no points for positive life choices, for lack of a better phrase! I get this completely, MT was completely duped probably for her own reasons by the FD narcopath act. I get that but that wasn't really my question.

No, I'm trying to understand why Pattis is tying FD to MT in his dialog still after the no contact was ordered and Bowman won't answer his calls. Today he even talked about taking MT mail to Bowman in hopes that he delivers it to MT. Why? Pattis does fly by the seat of his pants but he has been so consistent in his tying MT and FD together that I wonder what the game is! I know its some version of the crooks on the street that play 3 card monte but even with those guys if you watch them long enough you can figure out where the penny is!

MOO

To add to your good other observations, remember NP's early lament before FD was bailed out. NP was suggesting that LE was working with MT as the "first to be offered a deal" or something like that. Initially, it sounded like NP was worried that MT had told LE something that would be negative to FD's case and was already trying to imply it was because she was give a deal. THEN, he started in on the "she passed a lie detector test," followed by the request for contact as FD and MT love on another.

It appears to me that MT didn't tell LE all she knows and NP wants to keep it that way by reminding her that FD cares and wants to see her.

Want to say that whoever is on a health insurance plan has access to Out of Pocket expenses and Individual and Family deductible information. At the insurance company I work for, even the primary insured cannot discuss specific medical info with an agent. A lot of spouses and parents get upset when we tell them no, can't discuss, even though you are the parent/spouse. Some plans, maybe all or most, itemize lab work into a separate benefit category. It's very possible that FD could ethically know the dollar amount of lab work. IMO.

How could FD ethically know the dollar amt, if JD is not in a plan with him? I assume she isn’t since he has been paying nothing for the children, and so can’t imagine he is either paying for her, or that she is for all of the family, including him. Suppose I could be wrong, but I cannot imagine that she’d pay for a plan that covered FD, when he refused to part with one dime in support of their children. It would shock me to find out she was paying for his health insurance and that, I think, would be the only way they’d be on a family health insurance plan.

My Insurance Company sends me a report every month.

They list each line item and what the doctor/hospital Charges Everyone.

Then, the line item lists the Contracted amount, that is the Insurance Company's Responsibility.

Then, the line item lists the amount, that the insurance company will Not pay and notes this amount as the Provider's Responsibility.

Then, the line item lists my copay amount or lists the co-insurance amount as the Patient's Responsibility.

Every month, I am still amazed at what the doctor/hospital charges and the much smaller insurance contracted amount.

How do the doctors/hospitals get away with charging uninsured patients the Full Amounts when they are very willing to take much less when a patient has insurance and the doctor/hospital has contracted with that insurance company for much less?

Sorry, I digress.

Without the actual document in question:

We do not know if the $14,000 is Before or After the insurance paid their contracted amount.

We do not know if the Deductible has been applied.

We do not know if the Out of Pocket Maximum has been applied.

IMO, the charges are just that. Charges.

The full charged amount Before any contracted rate, deductible, or out of pocket maximum has been applied.

IMO, the Actual payment amount is much lower than $14,000.

IMO, NP is blowing it up bigger than it really is because $14,000 sounds so unimaginable when in fact the Pay Amount is much lower.

MOO

I agree....NP blowing his horn.

Well all I know is that my husband once told me that his Xwife got finger nail fungus after gardening without gloves. Ever since then, I’ve always worn gloves when gardening.

I may try it, but I don’t love using gloves (unless there is poison ivy)

Yes, @MassGuy that is what I thought initially but I am now not so convinced that the deal with the State is 'on' or that she has been all that cooperative or is choosing to offer up much to assist the investigation. Her value could be diminishing by the day as a witness and I'm not sure how anyone (even Pattis) can say she is innocent on the tampering/hindering charges.

Taking MT along on the Albany trip seemed odd too and the idea that she would think driving down a street to toss out things into bins over a holiday weekend is something 'normal' has never made any sense. The Fox61 drone footage of MT walking around the rear of 4Jx with LE also didn't seem earth shattering. Yes, we get that going out the back door of your house is always a possibility and maybe this is what FD might have done!

I think Pattis is rolling the dice on MT innocence in a big way. Not that I would be unhappy to see a zero payoff on his bet! States Atty said polygraph never happened which couldn't have pleased Pattis much IMO.

Wonder if Pattis knows anything specifically as to MT guilt/innocence or if like with the polygraph he is fishing?

Oh, he Is definitely fishing.

NP only does 2 things.

Fish and Throw Shade.

Yes, I have been hanging out with the grandchildren and they taught me what 'shade' was.

FD stopped paying the health insurance premiums after he was required by family court to continue the current family health insurance.

When JD brought this info to court, FD said JD should 'pay out of pocket'.

I Highly doubt that FD returned to paying those premiums.

So, this would mean that either JD purchased her own insurance ( just thinking about COBRA makes me cringe), or she paid out of pocket.

With that being said, the only reason JD's medical reports would continue to be mailed to 4JC was, if she forgot to change the mailing address with one of the providers.

It is possible, that she changed them with all the doctors, but did not think to change them with the outside Lab.

I saw a beautiful black and white cow today and she performed a beautiful rendition of the song: Old McDonald

With a MOO MOO here and a MOO MOO there.

The judge came across as obsequious to NP IMO. Also not fast enough on his feet. NP made a mockery of the courtroom in so many ways and IMO left the judge in the dust. I hope I’m just confusing showmanship with results. But NP was pushing credulity to the limit. Maybe the judge sharpens his thinking more in contemplation mode after session. Not a good feeling at all.

MOO ooo ooo

Very nice word. Had to look it up.
This judge may appear to be under the ether of NP and slow on the responses. He’s presided over death cases in his career. I’m thinking he’s being very careful to avoid any errors. Allowing NP great leeway removes any issues for an appeal. Same with thinking before responding. Finally, asking for briefs, although it appears to just prolong the inevitable, is his way to review the case law before ruling on any issues brought up by either side. Plodding along. Slow, steady progress towards the truth, leaving no stone unturned in his quest for justice for JD.

Slightly OT:

For those of us who think it's past time for NP's hairstyle, maybe this priest would help us all out:

I was excited to see Davenport, but this time that's Davenport, Iowa.

Hair color is about right, and hey lookee so is the tool JMHO.

The ponytail went to Locks of Love!

Re: medical bill. You can update your address & phone number all you want, someone in that provider's office has to update your file & that is, JMHO and my experience, a crap shoot.

I agree that the total amount billed is meaningless, although you as the insured may be corresponding at great length. I work for a large employer and last year it took me over 4 months to have a charge for my annual Well Woman screening mammogram removed.

You all read what I write. Did it really take 4 months for a big provider group to understand the problem and the law? I don't think so. At some level, perhaps JMHO the billing side of the provider organization knows that some people will eventually give up & just pay. Not an average WSer, but other folks.

Praying that this week we have answers!

But, if you think you have the tolls beat why not use a toll road?
This is a big MOO, but those readers are designed to make sure that non-EZ Pass holders don't get a free ride. To collect money. A couple of weeks after driving past one in NY or RI, a bill is mailed to my house. That's because the system is tied into vehicle registration databases. Now, I would think the system would be set up to flag bogus plates. Otherwise, more people might doctor or use discarded plates. Just musing, but thoughts welcomed. I also wonder how that technology works, e.g., how well it "reads" non-metallic stuff.

With learning MT never actually took lie detector test, did she not return the purse either? Have we heard about the purse return from anyone but NP? Moo.

You go, @sds71 ! This gives me chills. The support for JD and family is intense here. We need a break in this case, though it will be a heartbreaking development, to be sure.
Domino’s Pizza, at 301 Main Ave., Norwalk, becomes the 7th pizza place in the area restaurant that has put #JenniferDulos flyers on their pizza boxes. Also, Russell Speeder’s Car Wash in Norwalk has placed a large poster of the flyer at their car wash.

I think he's losing his hair - looks just plain thin. Dude is just losing it.
I saw the live feed where FD and friends entered the courthouse-looks like he has cut his hair very close again. My mind immediately went him doing this so he can say that he didn’t do so at the end of May to look more like EE and to avoid leaving DNA at Jennifer’s house...no, no, I always wear my hair like this.

I have yet to talk to anyone in CT who doesn’t think it was FD

Pattis will appeal gag order to Supreme Court
Posturing Pattis. Doesn't the Supreme Court only hear a fraction (like, 1%) of the cases presented? All of FD's follicles will have fallen out by the time they say "no."
On follicles, may I remark that Pattis's were looking particularly smooth yesterday?

On the entire MT conversation from Pattis I have to admit confusion. The story of these 2 is like some Mexican telenovella...or Greek Tragedy? IDK. But....

First we had FD and MT together, then Pattis said they had 'broken up', then Pattis talked about MT providing alibi for FD, then we had Pattis asking for ability of FD to contact MT, and then Pattis repeating the story of the real estate person that said MT had said in passing that she loved FD and was sorry all this was happening or something similar.

Yet again in Court today there was another Pattis statement about the real estate person who reported the comment from MT where MT said she loved FD and was upset that all this was happening to him or some similar comment. Why repeat this yet again? The MT judge was quite clear on the terms of the no contact order and thankfully the Judge today put the same order in place for FD.

My question though is why is Pattis again making a statement about MT professing undying love for FD when 3 min or so previous to making this statment Pattis said he called MT Atty Bowman and Bowman wouldn't speak with him and said his client has been advised to stay away from FD both by him and the Court?

There has to be some reason that Pattis is seeking connection in the eyes of the public between MT and his client but I guess I'm too simple minded to understand what it might be!?!

Any ideas?
NP sure does mention MT about every chance he gets. I don't understand it either. And also yesterday in court, NP mentioned something about FD or somebody has something to return to MT, or it sounded like that's what he said but I'm not sure? I've listened twice now and still can't make it out what NP says about that?
