Estranged Husband of Missing Mom Jennifer Dulos Due in Court Friday

To LE’s credit they didn’t wait bc she missed her 11:00 and afternoon appts. Cleaning person let them in around noon? I can’t remember exact time lines, but LE knew there was no sense in waiting. Thank goodness the chief didn’t block the immediate search.

According to the Arrest Warrant, LE was notified of a Missing Person about 7 pm. The warrant states that the Nanny then provided access to 69WL at the behest of GF.

The Warrant does not say that the Nanny was physically present at 69WL when she provided LE with access.

It was reported by the GAL, that the Nanny had been with the children since the Nanny picked them up at school that Friday and travelled to visit with GF and meet up with JD in Manhattan.

With that thought in mind, we have discussed that the Nanny may have just provided the 'Entry Code' to 69WL, so that LE could enter.

The Housekeeper did not even know there was an issue until well after she left 69WL earlier that day.

The JD vehicle being found where it was is the part of the timeline that is still problematic in my mind. I still wonder if assistance was involved. I also wonder if FD would have driven EE truck as the goal I think with the entire exchange was to save EE wear and tear on his truck. So, FD driving the EE truck to NC or even around town would have not been in line with the original intention. Personally I don't think FD cared about EE or his truck so if it served his purposes to use the red truck and drive it 140 miles RT to NC w/o telling EE then he would have done it. MOO

Keep in mind we have no clue what LE has found about JD's car. Were they able to ascertain how long it had been at Waveny Park? What was the condition of the interior of her car ? Were things missing that shouldn't have been missing?

Correct, no info on this piece of puzzle. We have never seen a picture of actual JD Suburban as NCPD used stock photo for the missing poster and website.

• With the whereabouts of his estranged wife Jennifer Farber Dulos still unknown and a state police investigation squarely focused on him, Farmington developer Fotis Dulos is expected to return to court Friday when a series of recently filed motions are expected to be discussed.
  Since the arrests, a series of motions have been filed in court, mostly filed by Dulos’ defense attorney, Norm Pattis. The motions before Judge John F. Blawie include:
• A request by Dulos to unseal Farber Dulos’ medical records. Pattis has possession of billing records that show she had $14,000 worth of tests, blood work and other diagnostic treatment from February through April of this year. Pattis said they want to review the medical records so they can evaluate whether “Ms. Dulos, alarmed by her diagnosis and fearing that she might not be able to raise the children on her own, took steps to cause her own disappearance in such a way as to raise suspicions about Mr. Dulos.”
• A request by Dulos to unseal a custody study done by a New York City psychiatrist as part of the couple’s contentious divorce. Pattis has argued that information in the study is “necessary to his defense” because it will establish “Fotis Dulos had no motive to cause her disappearance,” and that she had motive to cast suspicion on him. The defense says the study also rebuts claims from Farber Dulos that Dulos was violent or menacing toward her. The report has been sealed by a family court judge.
• A 10-page defense motion seeking to have the two charges — hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence — against Dulos dismissed because there is insufficient evidence to proceed without other felony charges against him. Pattis said to charge someone with hindering prosecution, there must be an accompanying felony charge that is statutorily required for the state to prove its case. As for the tampering with evidence charge, Pattis argued there is no evidence to support that the defendant knew that an official proceeding was imminent.
• A motion by Pattis to obtain further discovery documents from the state. Stamford/Norwalk State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo turned over 26 discs showing video surveillance on Albany Avenue which the state alleges shows Dulos dumping two trash bags into garbage cans. The bags contained bloody items that matched the DNA of Farber Dulos.
• A motion by Stamford/Norwalk State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo Jr. asking the judge to impose a gag order on all lawyers involved in the case, a motion that Pattis has vigorously opposed, arguing that he has a right to defend his client who has been the subject of intense media focus and is constantly being asked “Where’s Jennifer?"
• Another motion that Pattis has filed is to change the GPS monitoring from his ankle to his wrist.
• The Courant has reported that some of that garbage was found that weekend by a Hartford man rummaging through trash. The man told The Courant that he found a bloody pillow and a knife in the garbage. He kept the knife and traded it too a man he knew as “Fudge” for a $5 rock of crack cocaine.

Blawie grew up in Fairfield, the seventh of 12 children, and graduated from Fairfield Prep, Holy Cross College and UConn Law School before he became a federal prosecutor on Wall Street with the Securities and Exchange Commission. After becoming in-house legal counsel for two companies in Fairfield County, Blawie said he missed the excitement of the courtroom and spent the next decade as a state prosecutor in the Bridgeport State’s Attorneys Office before putting six more years in as head of the Economic Crime Unit at the Chief State’s Attorneys Office in Rocky Hill.

I got carried away. Sorry so long.
That’s why I couldn’t time sequence correctly bc friends asked LE later to do wellness ok. Maybe calls from friends was immediate but withheld and released to media as late afternoon calls.
So GF must have alerted police. Or maybe JD first appointment called JD looking for reason for late arrival. And knew right away there was a problem when no answer. Then called GF? Asking for whereabouts of JD?
We just don’t know who the first appt was.
Point is, I think LE knew that morning that she was missing. And immediately got the ok from GF to move forward. GF called cleaner. Cleaner opened door. GF probably would have said break down the door if you can’t get into the house.
But I think she had already cleaned up the house? But didn’t go into the garage? So what would you do, I guess put in outside of garage trash cans if trash being picked up next day or two.
Omg. Here’s more. It’s a holiday weekend. Does NC have trash on holidays? Leaving garbage outside risks animals scavenging for food. So were trash cans keep out side? This raises more questions than answers.

If cleaner had not cleaned yet, totally different. But seems to me that kitchen faucet with blood and dna found in house despite fact that it has been cleaned. Probably luminal used.

But now that I’m rethinking this, LE didn’t sound the alarm until later bc wanted the extra time to locate perp.
Oh, me. No wonder no arrests for murder yet. Still so many leads to research.

How long did it take cleaner to clean the house? Better question, did she clean that morning? I can’t imagine that LE would allow the cleaner to clean after they arrived on the scene.

The Housekeeper arrived at 69WL about 12pm that day.

We have determined that the housekeeper more than likely, did Not enter through the garage and we have come to the conclusion that Friday, May 24 was more than likely the day for cleaning the upstairs bedrooms, bathrooms, and changing/washing the bed linens.

IMO, we are fortunate that the Housekeeper did not clean the kitchen that day or at least the facet and therefore FD's DNA was found mixed in with JD's blood on the kitchen facet.

The Nanny came to NC and picked up the children at their school, at early release about 12:30 pm.

The Nanny and the children traveled to Manhattan to meet up with JD and visit with GF, as planned.

Two friends of JD, with the approval of GF, reported JD missing to NC LE about 7 pm that Friday, May 24th.

The Housekeeper was long gone from 69WL at that point.

The warrant says that the Nanny provided LE with access to 69WL sometime After 7pm when the report was filed by JD's two friends.

We have possibly determined that the Nanny provided the 'Entry Code' to LE and was not physically present, when it was later revealed that the Nanny had been with the children since she picket them up from school on Friday, May 24th.

LE was Not alerted to JD missing until those two friends filed the report.

LE immediately began searching for JD, once they were first notified about 7pm.

LE Immediately found evidence of possible blood in JD's Garage and LE Immediately called in the State Crime Lab that determined that JD was the victim of a 'Serious Physical Assault' in her garage.

IMO, LE was Aggressive and Immediate in their search for JD.

There was No lag time and No waiting period to 'see if she shows up' before they began their search for JD.

IMO, FD did not expect such quick actions by GF, JD friends, and especially LE.

A bit more detail about the KM hearing that happened yesterday. Still don't understand why this Judge didn't issue the protection order simply in the abundance of caution given the man with the crowbar/gas can indicident and FD contact scenario and 1.5 hrs of testimony from STBX.

Nothing has been reported about JD's mobile phone in the car or found elsewhere. IIRC the NCPD did a search of Waveny trails and along the Merritt Parkway using search dogs trained on electronic equipment.

I agree with fitzy. JD's car at the back entrance to the trails along Lapham is key. I've played out numerous scenarios based on if was alone or with an accomplice.

Its almost as if he is on a personal suicide mission to make sure that nothing that the Farber money was used to build is left intact and he is willing to go down with the ship and be left with nothing.

We have to keep reminding ourselves that FD is a super-star narcissist and he must destroy others in order to fill up that hole a narcissist always has.

It gets crazy when tearing down others actually hurts him too but he can't help himself.

I take joy in knowing FD's anger is eating him up inside and while Jennifer no longer has to suffer, he will forever.

He does, however, get to continue to live in a nice house at the family's expense and that eats me up inside!

IMO ONLY, I believe that EE lives near Albany Avenue in the Hartford area and he could have kept the Ford Raptor all week or picked it up very early each morning on his way to NC.

Regardless, there is evidence of EE in FD’s Ford Raptor on CCTV in NC on Friday, May 24th and working on the Sturbridge property.

I am not fully committed with FD parking at Waveny and then Running to JD's 69WL home. It is, Very doable though.

If FD worked alone, he would have either needed to:

1. Leave JD and all the evidence at 69WL and drive her Suburban to Waveny and then return to 69WL in EE’s red truck for the clean up and load up of the evidence.

Or:

2. Load up JD and all evidence into JD's Suburban and then switch All of that to EE's red truck in broad daylight on a busy road.

I have noted before, that FD may have parked EE's red truck at the Winter Sports facility across from the children's school.

This is just a 4 minute jog to 69WL.

However, the issue in my theory of FD working alone and parking EE's red truck at the WS facility, is How did FD get JD's Suburban to Waveny Without jogging on the roads or through the woods to get to 69WL?

This is very possible and doable, but this may be where FD did have a helper that day as someone has noted up thread.

We have not had final confirmation that MT has a truthful alibi with returning a purse from the 4JC dinner party the night before.

MT could very well have just provided the opportunity to park JD's Suburban at Waveny.

This, of course, also begets the questions.

1. Did MT drive the Jeep as the second vehicle to NC?

IMO-No, because that would place another FD vehicle in NC that day, if it were caught on CCTV.

It would also beget the question, were the altered plates used on the Jeep or on EE's red truck?

Or.

2. Did MT ride with FD to NC in EE's Red Truck?

Possible? Yes.

However, if FD and MT rode together in EE's Red Truck to NC that morning, then FD's Timeline has been severely shortened.

We can then have a more detailed timeline.

MT shows up on CCTV about 11:00 am and far from NC.

FD and MT would have had to complete the crime, cleanup, load up, move JD's car to Waveny and get out of Dodge and back up to Farmington in time for MT to get the Jeep at 4JC and then have her picture taken on CCTV.

With that thought, we can ask the question, what was FD doing during the almost 3 hours between 10:45 am and 1:37 pm when FD’s phone traveled to 80MS from 4JC?

With this scenario, it would have been advantageous to have KM at 4JC to pick up the phone when the call came in from Greece.

It seems that Every scenario has it’s pros and cons.

IMO, the Bottom Line is that FD killed JD and all the who, what, when, where, and how Will be presented in court and Will be FD’s downfall.

In the media coverage, it was stated that FD and EE exchanged vehicles "for the week" and that they had done this in the past. Implying that it was usual for the employee to leave his truck with FD, presumably not picking it up each day during rush hour traffic for the back and forth to NC.

If you look at Google maps satellite, you can see a red pickup truck parked out back behind 4JC, along with other trucks/vehicles, in the drone footage. It looks like that was an "employee" parking lot of sorts, since it's on the end of the house near a path that would lead to the Fore Group offices above the garage area and has a number of vehicles parked there. There is a white vehicle parked out front of the house on the apron, which could be the white Range Rover FD/JD owned at the time (the one that ran over FDs mother, perhaps? MOO).
This Google satellite is taken some time ago, since 3 JC across the street is still under construction in the photo (3JC built around 2012, so likely some time around that).

Also, thinking about what MT was doing that morning, keep in mind that MT might have had to drop her daughter at school that morning (school starts at 8:15 and about 20 minute drive). Possibly the nanny did that but usually the nannies don't come until the afternoon unless they live in. IMO, I suspected that the alibi was supposed to be that MT saw FD at 4JC when she left in the morning to do the school run, and then when she was back in the afternoon, around, let's say, 1:37pm or so? KM and the call from Greece were to fill in that gap in the alibi IMO.

Also, isn't it a little suspicious that KM's demand of his wife was that she had to go on a trip to Greece with him to "rekindle their marriage"? And that FD insisted on that just a couple days before that morning? And that then on Friday morning KM and FD were supposedly together and FD on the phone to Greece?

I think she did. Remember reading it had been one or two years before he had spent any quality time with the children. He was under tight constraints for lying to the court. He was not allowed to have the children around MT and seemed to violate this. Encouraged the children to lie which came out in court proceedings. And some of the children suffered. MOO.

This is a good question. IIRC, there was not one at the time she went missing. I am wondering why not.
If the perp doesn't regard the law, then it does nothing in terms of protection. But it would still be good to have, I would think? There could've been reasons she didn't. Can anyone speak to this? MOO.

I also think that the particular spot looks more like is was parked in a rush and someone not from the area parked it as it seems as though the locals park inside the park in a lot and not on Lapham. If he was trying to make it appear as she was abducted while running then he failed. I made my sister take me there this Summer during my visit and all the cars were parked in the lot with joggers and dog walkers galore.

I do think it’s a lot about revenge on the Farbers. I even think that the murder of JD was, in part, about revenge on GF, because she was pursuing repayment of a loan that he had no intention or ability to pay. And GF was making it possible for JD to keep him away from his kids, over whom he wanted 100% control. He wasn’t just furious with JD, he was furious with GF for not getting out of his way, like a woman is expected to do in his universe. They MADE him do it; it wasn’t his fault. If they had just given him what he felt he was entitled to, there wouldn’t have been a murder, or all of these court cases. And now, the Farbers are making him defend himself for a murder in which he hasn’t even been charged yet. GF is ruining his business and his reputation, and it’s unfair to him!

I’d say this is definitely his perspective. Sadly.
