The stmts seemed design to create mystery and cast doubt and were no doubt totally scripted by Pattis & Crew and I think if you read enough into it also includes subtle victim blaming/shaming.The truth will come out? What does he mean-that JD is the bad one, not him? I hope the truth comes out...we know he did it. He hopes the truth never surfaces, because that puts his feet in the fire.
WOW!.. @Fitzy The picture you found is the woman who was at the hearing....I'm shocked.
This, however, is the picture I found that was on the linked-in resume for Rena Kyrimi:
![]()
Big difference...eh? This seems more in line with a 65-66 year-old-woman, IMO.
Maybe the photo you found is her daughter???? Perhaps Greeks name their children after themselves???? Or, some her fortune went to extensive plastic surgery. Beats me...
Not my area of expertise but I think we learned from the Family Court that taking the 5th can result in adverse inference (think this is the term). Remember when FD took the 5th in Family Court? Judge Heller referred back to this choice as part of her decision to award custody to GF.
The civil case dragging on is frankly a bit of a mind boggler IMO. FD own books and records (such as they are) show a loan owing to FIL of roughly $1.7 million if I recall according to the civil case documents. We haven't seen any evidence to support the FD contention that the FIL loans represented a 'gift' other than statements made by FD (under the legal guidance of then atty KM). I guess anyone can say anything at any time but at a certain point evidence will be required by the court. FIL was a savvy business person and it makes no sense that the longstanding practice of lending money, building house and repaying loans would have 'suddenly' converted to a gifting scenario IMO. Why do this and especially at a time when the cat was out of the bag that the marriage was failing and JD no doubt had possiblity spoken to her mother and father about the breakdown and her plans to leave? It seems that if the FIL knew that the marriage was doomed and had his doubts about his SIL that instead of gifting the money he would have been tightening the repayment schedule. But perhaps his illness precluded this action IDK but the entire 'gift' concept seems to be a work of fiction created by KM and FD to push off the inevitable repayment of loans and possibly even take advantage of FIL during a time of illness, which if true is positively diabolically evil IMO.
IMO this all is just stonewalling/delay by FD to do whatever he is planning to do or delay the fact that there is no money in FORE etc. Meanwhile he is just issuing a legal dare to GF to call anyone and everyone that has ever worked for FORE IMO. GF has a solid team so will no doubt take a hard look at the main possible suspects and institute legal action accordingly. IMO MT and FD sister have most to fear in this regard given both have intimate ties to FORE/FD.
So, we have MT on deck to be deposed and then FD. Seems likely that we might even see KM, FD sister, FD former employees and friends etc. This parade of depositions could be long and painful for all involved.
Wonder why FD would subject friends and family to this expense and personal stress? Why not simply settle and move on? We've already seen one trade creditor get a set aside for $26,250 and we know more trade creditors are lining up. Its all a mess but time is of the essence IMO as my guess is that there might not be much there for anyone at this point.
MOO MOO

I believe that is picture of FD/Rena mother, the one that was run over by the nanny at 585 Deerfield. Just a guess. Not sure. MOO
Rena seems to give us the idea that FD was supporting large segments of the Dulos family in Greece in her infamous "Is it Relevant" letter to the public.
She stated:
Is it relevant for you to know that I have only known my brother to be just that; a loving and affectionate sibling and the greatest of uncles for my two daughters? The life line to a large degree of both our immediate and extended family?
Translation: FD has given his family a lot of cash to weather the crazy Greek economy and beyond.
And, she applauds her brother for caring for the elderly parents to relieve the family of that burden.
Is it important to make you aware that during a time of increased pressures in my own family (two daughters at a critical age and professional pressures arising from a country under turbulence even before 2008) Fotis undertook to exclusively take care of our parents, whom he brought to the US and set up in his own home that only few could do?
Translation: FD insisted to JD that his parents move in with him and be another part of the family as if taking care of 5 children wasn’t enough.
How was FD planning to continue to be the knight in shining armor for his family without the Farber wealth. If he was still married to his wife and she "disappeared" the kids would inherit the trust and, as parent, he would be guardian if stipulations don't exist in the trust for this possibility. In his mind, FD wouldn't need to face anymore hearings in family court or financial revelations. He could continue to work on being a master builder, etc. HA!
Continuing the sister saga....I'm reminded that FD was troubled by cost over runs in some of his more recent bids and plans. His sister's LinkedIn resume says that she claims:
"Provides Consulting for Cost Control, Business Strategy Revision, Risk Analysis, and Asset/Property Mnanagement."
at ForeGroup USA
One must wonder how much experience she has with American costs and ability to control them, but it's also fascinating that she was charged with ASSET MANAGEMENT. Makes one wonder which assets she was managing????
Just food for thought...all is IMOO...MOO...MOO
@oceancalling, Curious what you think about the warrant language vis a vis the phone?
Seems like LE had reason to believe based on evidence from Welles that FD phone might have evidence related to a crime based on the warrant language. IDK the standard police are held to in order to take a phone though? But the FD warrant was clear that NCPD/State Police then requested and received the proper warrant to access the phone.
On the surface it looks like NCPD followed the correct procedure.
I guess maybe I am not understanding Pattis saying that the phone was "taken" and "not returned" to FD. Pattis said in court that he has stmts from the FD atty that the phone was requested to be returned by the atty at the time.
Would the phone have to be returned if it was requested to be returned, in the event that NCPD had evidence in place suggesting the violent act had occurred at Welles? I'm thinking that State Police had luminol all over Welles by the time the phone situation happened. Would this suspicion from NCPD/State Police be enough to withhold the phone if atty asked for it to be returned? I also wonder if this exchange was all on video at NCPD too?

It is my opinion that Rena was listed on the FORE officers or employees (don’t remember what she was listed as) just as a reason for FD to justify why he sent money to her. This way it wasn’t a constant fight with JD.
Okay, I can't help but ask. Is the woman in pink his sister? None of the existing photos look like that.
MOO.
I think the lawsuit with the Nigerian Prince might shed some light on this issue of cost overruns. I will go back and dig up the documents and post some quotes that refer to contract dispute issues and budgets etc.BBM-this is, IMO, “relevant”...which assets WAS she managing, indeed. I don’t know how much building is going on in Greece, with the Greek economy in such shambles-but Rena obviously was not successfully managing any costs on construction here. There was at least one buyer of a property developed by Fore Group who claimed the end cost was far, far more than the buyer was told it would be (hope he had a contract for a specific amount, and no more than that). I am absolutely certain that FD sent money to Greece that he had no right to send over. Really, I don’t think they are going to be able to get to the bottom of how much Farber money was embezzled and sent overseas. I say embezzled, because in the very best light, the money belonged in Fore Group, and he wasn’t legally able to use it to support his Greek relatives. I would be curious to know, though, if he was building in Greece, too, with HF money.
Mystery solved! Good work!Picture with family, is Rena in August 2018. One of the two daughters, has been seen with Doofus in CT.
Picture with hubby is Rena.
Picture of older woman in red is Kleopatra Doulos, the mother to FD and Rena. This picture was taken in 2008.

Jennifer Dulos case: Attorney calls for phone evidence to be thrown out
Jennifer Dulos case: Attorney calls for phone evidence to be thrown out
If he asked for the phone back after a search warrant was obtained, then there will be no grounds to suppress evidence, she said. But if he asked for the phone back before the search warrant was obtained, and was refused, there could be a problem, she said.
“It all hinges on how long before they got the warrant did he ask for it back,” said Paz, who previously worked with Pattis.
Police may be able to claim an exigency due to the fact a woman was missing, she said. The phone was seized “under the belief it contained evidence of a crime and/or information which could lead to the discovery of Jennifer Dulos,” arrest warrants said.
The other issue is the records turned over to police by Fotis Dulos’ cellphone provider, she added. It is unlikely that a judge will rule that the phone records — which in this case police said led to evidence connecting Fotis Dulos to the disappearance — should be suppressed since investigators could have gathered them without the physical phone, she said.
Police obtained search warrants for a forensic review of the phone and for a review of the cellphone records associated with the device, the arrest warrant said. The search warrants in the case are sealed until September. Stamford State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo declined to comment Monday on Pattis’ request for a suppression hearing on the phone.
