@Midwestmom2019 and your local crew, if I still lived in Connecticut, I'd be in the courthouse with you as much as my work schedule allowed!!!

Thanks for holding up the Justice for Jennifer, her children & family & friends and all DV sufferers banner!

sorry, that's sure an unwieldy banner....

JMHO YMMV LRR

I wouldn't overate what they have. Why would they let Dulos run free on bail if they really had damning evidence, just as they tried to scotch the bail on the first court hearing where they said they had blood evidence in the kitchen? If they had stronger evidence it would be on the table. At this point the strongest murder charges involve blood evidence and the girlfriend and worker's testimony against him.
There is much, much more "damning" evidence in this case and Mr. Dulos is hardly running "free on bail." While all of us would like to see a first degree murder indictment we know LE has done an incredible job of meticulously investigating this case."Serve no wine before its time."

I am less concerned about his indictment than I am about his conviction. The C Team is playing checkers; LE is playing chess, and it shows.

View attachment 202770 Ok, I’ve been reading and searching our threads for info on the cars. I read the entire first thread and highly recommend it as it gives insights to what we know now. It also led me to more searches using the search option.

Sds71–In a post in an early thread like 4 0r 5, Sds71 said he’d gotten the list of vehicles owned by FD off the tax records but there were too many to show in the photo and the link didn’t work for me. Sds71 also talked about a vehicle that was in both their names—JD and FD. I didn’t know that was possible but it read that way. I couldn’t yet find all the posts but someone else said MT had a white truck and then the 2007 Suburban and the Raptor were noted. I now wonder if that Porsche of the seats was registered to FD and JD so that’s why FD had it even though they said it was registered to the victim. Maybe it shows up as hers but also his?

Also, I’d forgotten about the lot on Olway. Olcott? I forget. FD sold it right after this. Police were there earlier.

This is as far as I’ve gotten so far. MOO.
Maybe sds71 remembers?
IMO, MOO, MOO. A local Websleuther who posted in earlier threads (sorry, can you remind me who this person is) did an excellent job compiling a spreadsheet of properties. @afitzy I believe you also looked into the Farmington properties on the property tax website around the same time in the same thread. In order to keep track of when property taxes are due (and funds must be transferred from some financial institution), LE may use WS work attached here to subpoena each and every bank check/wire originator. The financial institution holding the 401(k)...hello? IRS, are you withholding tax at 40% for the early distribution? If not, FO owes money this tax year and he better pay up or IRS AUDIT. MOO, MOO, MOO.

Usually blunt objects create spatter whereas knives don’t. I’m thinking he beat her to death and if a knife came into play it was in disposing. Hard to think about I know.
You’ve made some great points for me to think about re how JD was killed and whether MT was involved in planning and how much of an accomplice she was in the actual killing!

However, I disagree re blood spatter. IMO, depending where on the body the knife was used and the movement of the victim, there can be some blood spatter.

I was thinking it is interesting that the AW starts the trail of the Tacoma on The Merritt at 6:36 am but we know there’s a neighbor’s camera that captured his return from the trash trip on Albany so LE must purposely want that cc to come out in the next AW.

So cc showing EE pulling the Tacoma into the driveway at 4jc (the office) and leaving with the Raptor and then FD leaving in the Tacoma (with or without MT or KM or someone else or alone) All will hopefully be beautifully captured on the cc and shared soon.

MOO

Wait. What? NOW he says she was an excellent mother?!
Ha ha. That proves she’s dead; Fotis isn’t competing for custody, and she can be excellent at parenting. Guess it turns out that all the smears on Jennifer were really about Gloria-

That is the 101st reason to call BS on his “She’s alive in my mind”

agree with you, this is what I've read also. A while back I did some reading on this and was
surprised that knife killings do indeed cause splatter and/or spray.
Also I think much was said by LE concerning
the knife left on Albany and what I've notice in the AW's and leaked news is that if a subject comes up and LE discusses it, it usually is an
important factor in the investigation.
So for now, I go along with a knife being used.

Agree. Their silence on who drove the Tacoma is significant. I think LE thinks someone helped.
I keep going back to MT's apparently false alibi's for 5/24- returning purse and other nonsense. now that they know MT is a blatant liar, have they proven that she was driving the
Tacoma? Wouldn't the videos show if 1 or 2 people were inside? How about the neighbor's
video? Could this be a 'gotcha' for MT?

  • #1,029
It would be so great if FD took the Tacoma to get gas before his little outing and that was captured on cc. Surely he wouldn’t want to run out of gas while transporting bloody evidence or a dead body!

Do you think LE checked the gas stations???

If Bowman met with BOTH FD and MT, he needs to move on. He’s violating ethics rules if he continues to represent MT. Conflict of interest. Now if FD waited outside or waited in outer office, for MT to meet privately with MT, probably ok. .

Maybe what I should have said, because I don’t actually know who Bowman spoke to, is that FD came with MT to his office (like as in he drove her there, probably lecturing her about what to say, the entire way). I think Bowman is a good lawyer, and don’t believe that he would likely violate ethics in that way.

There were some entries in a much earlier thread about FD's sub contractors suing him for non-payment for the work they had done. Is it known whether any of them were out of the Waterbury area? Could he have dumped her body in a dumpster for construction waste that was on their property/office? Might he have knowledge that availability?

  • #1,032
Excellent summary of today's events: First appearance by GF Atty Weinstein (looked angry today about how the civil cases are being handled but the good news is that the court is consolidating the cases so there won't be as many delays and Judges involved), Atty Bill Murray (no comment), and interview with the couple that own the moving company JD used to get away from 4Jx and the 4 cancellations when FD wouldn't allow the movers onto the property (said JD was scared and crying).

Movers recall interactions with Fotis & Jennifer Dulos at time of divorce
Can we not bring back public hanging in CT?!

I was thinking he may have entered on the property from behind the house just to the wooded area and not in front.

Why would he ask EE if he saw anything?

EE was installing hardware on the doors inside and with such a large house I doubt he would’ve or could’ve seen anything.

I wonder if LE checked with the dumpster company about a pick-up as I know they have to be scheduled and searched there too?

They’d also have phone records and a money trail to pay for the pick-up, right?

MOO
IMO. "EE was installing hardware on the doors inside". Apparently "hardware" was a code word for the seats EE was supposed to swap to clean up his red truck and remove incriminating evidence such as blood stains. Will need to analyze the texts between EE, FO and MT for an extended period before and after the 24th to determine what were the true instructions to EE. MOO.

I’m surprised......
1. It took them so long to look at the project managers car.
2. The project manager waited until they came asking about the car.

Yes he saved the seats. But I have to believe he knew what was going on. Why did he wait until the police went to him with a warrant?! Because he didn’t want to lose his job? A mother of 5 is missing and possibly dead and you don’t say anything to the cops when your boss acts really effing obvious about the seats in your car?

I don’t think FD has filed taxes for the last two years-but I could be wrong...there is reason to believe that FD is already on the IRS’s radar. And if he isn’t, then what the heck are those guys doing?? Seriously, I think they are already onto him. MOO

The transfer of body from Suburban to Tacoma at Waveny is a sore thumb to me.
I like body in Suburban to Sturbridge. FD returns “empty” Suburban to park, picks up Tacoma. He may have transferred the blood to that car himself- from blooding clothing or items he forgot to leave at Sturbridge .
Just another idea?
ITA. I also believe the blood may have been transferred by FD himself. How far is Sturbridge from Lapham?

I’m sorry I went off this direction, but I think he dismembered her. That’s why I’m asking these grizzly questions.
As to Jamal K. I don’t want to know. Didn’t know when it happened. WS can start a new forum.
FD reminds me of my ex. Not nearly as bad, but never the less, VERY similar court antics. Whatever. Twenty something years. Still clear. Never remarried. Quit dating, too. Can’t quite trust any one any more. It’s the fear of being an unheard victim. Every one believes them, bc they are absolutely convincing in their performance. Had a case about 6 months ago. The judges STILL cannot see through the bs. DV needs to be addressed seriously and now.
Many people who fight the scourge of DV on a daily basis believe the entire system, which was intended to protect victims, should be overhauled. The very worst perversion of the DV system is when judges "ask" DV victims to agree to a so-called mutual DV injunction, so that the victim has to agree to same terms as the batterer! In doing so, the victim, by force of law, gives up the right to carry a firearm! No matter one's views on firearms, I think we can all agree that a victim should not be put in that position.

Like FD in the divorce case, batterers know how to game the system. Some of the worst offenders openly brag about their ability to do so. It is maddening to witness domestic violence victims be revictimized in this way, as I have. I hope that Jennifer's murder will put a much needed focus on this nationwide problem. Like others here, I am asking myself how a complete stranger can communicate my support to Jennifer's family. Perhaps, efforts to reform our broken system can be a small part of of the way to honor her memory.

My thought on transferring the body. He could have pulled the Suburban up next to the Tacoma "passenger door to passenger door" very close. And simply transferred the rug/mat that JF (I'm not calling her JD anymore) was in. Kills me to type this. Nobody, driving by, would have thought anything about it or paid any attention to it; since it is road where people are driving along; minding their own business and most likely not paying attention to two cars in a "turn-out". moo
True, it could look like a man was giving a jumpstart to a woman, or vice a versa. No one looks at two cars by the side of the road if the two drivers were friendly and helping each other. MOO.

Well said as always, afitzy! I think / have thought all along that MT was in a dysfunctional relationship with a very controlling, powerful, charismatic, wealthy (in her eyes), manipulative man, and she just went along with anything he said or did. Whatever her reasons for being with him and staying with him through thick and thin (being kind, say she 'did it for her daughter' so she would have a 'good life', she likes rich and 'dashing bad boys', she truly loved him, was into him, wanted to blend their families together and become the matriarch), she's bound to be sorry now that her man has been caught red handed killing his wife, and she went along with whatever he told her to do.

He was such a scary and abusive husband to JD, I can't imagine he was immediately less scary and abusive as a 'paramour' to MT, although I'm sure there was a honeymoon period when all was rosy for them before JD's father died and she left him shortly thereafter under duress, and the shared bank account that JD's money went into was no longer available to fund FD and MT's lifestyle they had become accustomed to.

IMO, she's in deep, and hedging her bets on keeping her distance from FD for now, and seeing what they can get away with, or if it's looking bad for them, they can run from to a foreign territory that they already had planned out before JD's murder.

MOO
Respect your POV ALWAYS and no doubt what you describe was experienced by MT in her sad, pathetic and delusional dysfunctional relationship with FD. But remember also how the entire Tronconis/Arrezza clan seemed to also embrace the FO/HO relationship even from the early days of the affair in FL. So the family is also involved IMO in perpetuating any fantasties that MT might still have about her 'happily ever after' with FD IMO.

But IMO FO/HO relationship issues/codependency/dashed dreams of wealth and the happily ever after in my mind cannot excuse lying to LE and wasting precious time and resources in this case. In in my mind the fact that we saw in the AW a documented pattern of clear lying and varying types of lies for MT eliminated any consideration or special treatment for MT.

We have seen IMO also such profound abuse of due process and the CT/US legal system by FD now for years, so to see such profound disrepect for LE and the legal process here with MT, I'm sorry but IMO LE just needs to stack her charges, give her a jury trial at some and send her to prison if she is convicted or deport her to her country of citizenship.

I made the huge mistake of believing that a solid atty could have an impact on a character such as MT. I was absolutely incorrect in this. Atty Bowman sat with his client in conference rooms with LE for over 2 months while his client chose to not tell the truth to LE or assist in the investigation into the missing and now presumed dead JD. I'm still processing this choice and trying to figure out what kind of person would make such a choice? The only word I have in my mind now to describe such a person is an amoral monster. Yes, monster. Perhaps I will reassess this POV at some future date, but for now I'm sticking with AMORAL MONSTER.

Sadly for me, Atty Bowman will now forever be known as the atty from Westport whose clients routinely do not tell the truth to LE. Last time I checked Attys can pick/choose who they represent and can resign from cases. It will be interesting to see how Atty Bowman handles this decision.

The arrest warrant language on what precisely MT said and did during a very crucial time in the investigation IMO was damning both for MT and her attorney. Mr. Bowman can talk about 'presumed innocent' all day long as is his right on behalf of his client. Absolutely the presumption of innocence is a right accorded to MT in our system and its for this reason that I believe the State might consider simply stacking her charges as the investigation proceeds and simply taking her case to trial and let the jury decide her fate. Her value as any kind of witness is nil/none as she is a proven liar and I cannot see her receiving special treatment from our system of justice, absent her delivering the body of JD.

Enough is enough IMO.

I was wondering that too -- if they could make out from the video how many people were in the Tacoma. LE's silence on who was in the Tacoma will be very obvious to MT and her lawyer and may be LE's way of saying to MT this is your real last chance to cut a deal, tell us where JD's body and that they will go after her on murder charges. JMO.
