FD reminds me of my ex. Not nearly as bad, but never the less, VERY similar court antics. Whatever. Twenty something years. Still clear. Never remarried. Quit dating, too. The judges STILL cannot see through the bs. DV needs to be addressed seriously and now.

Yeah. The world is a dangerous place now. I don't trust women either. They have been the worst offenders. So much for sisterhood. Everyone believes them. People who have fallen victim(survivor) to these people are really on their own. There is no common ground where people can relate to what you have gone through because the experience is unfathomable unless you have been through it. IME.

I am very sorry for all you’ve endured, too. I agree that no one else can relate to the horrors another has gone through unless the person has been through it, too, and perhaps not even then entirely as our pain and heartaches often are so individual, but we believe you. Take care.

Yes, FD stayed at or near the limit. The roads involved I believe all have different limits (don't know them off the top of my head other than the Merritt goes from 45-55 but most are usually over by 10mph no problem with light traffic and I believe 84 might go up to 65 mph limit in places) and then I believe on 84 the speed limits change based on terrain too as it gets hilly and curvy and is super dangerous in the wet or snow.

Depending on time of day the limits become somewhat irrelevant as traffic is slowed to a crawl. Rush hour northbound now starts as early as 3PM and on some days it seems like it starts at 2:30PM!

But from the AW it looks like FD had a speedy ride from NC to Farmington. But I was immediately suspicious of his recorded speeds as he is a documented speeder! To me it looks like he had the body all the way back to at least in the intersection of Rt8/Rt84 where the AW then cuts to 80MS.

Just one more thought and I’m going to hush! Reading the speeds made me think of how people try not to speed when they’re carrying illegal things but then that lack of speeding gets them caught. I also thought that a 2000/2001 work truck probably had significant rattles and shakes at higher speeds and FD might have been worried about a breakdown. Terrible time to lose a driveshaft... My last thought on it was that speedometers on older vehicles sometimes are off so maybe he thought he was going faster although he could have seen everyone else was passing him so scratch that. MOO.

I agree with you. My reply was to a post saying that FO would be safe in prison because he killed his wife, not a child. And so I was simply pointing out that although he didn’t murder his five children, he certainly did hurt them severely. And yes, JD’s family seem to be a very strong and I’m sure each of her children will be like their Mom and grandparents.

Sds71–In a post in an early thread like 4 0r 5, Sds71 said he’d gotten the list of vehicles owned by FD off the tax records but there were too many to show in the photo and the link didn’t work for me. Sds71 also talked about a vehicle that was in both their names—JD and FD. I didn’t know that was possible but it read that way. I couldn’t yet find all the posts but someone else said MT had a white truck and then the 2007 Suburban and the Raptor were noted. I now wonder if that Porsche of the seats was registered to FD and JD so that’s why FD had it even though they said it was registered to the victim. Maybe it shows up as hers but also his?

Also, I’d forgotten about the lot on Olway. Olcott? I forget. FD sold it right after this. Police were there earlier.

The 2009 Porsche Cayenne is in the Farmington tax records registered to JD with FDs name also, up until and including 2016 tax year (bill due July 2017).
Starting with tax year 2017 (bill due 7/2018) the 2009 Porsche Cayenne is in the NC tax bills registered to JD with FD name on it as well. Also a record for 2018 tax year bill due 7/2019.
Neither of these tax bills on the Cayenne have been paid as of today and there is interest on the bill due 7/2018.
Also, there is a 2016 Range Rover in the NC tax bills registered to JD (without FD name) for the 2017 tax year only (not 2018) and it was also not paid.

Long story short...I have been looking at trucks to buy for my moving journey and one of the salesmen I was talking with had retired from the CT Department of Corrections as a prison guard after like 25 years. I asked if he was familiar with Albany Avenue and then told him I unfortunately had to spend a lot of time there due to this horrible job I have. His eyes grew as big as silver dollars, his face the most pale white, and the words were something like "You DO NOT belong anywhere near Albany Avenue. Let me repeat that. The gangs, drugs, crime...I supervised the ones from the gangs and I'd say 80% of them where in some way connected to Albany Avenue."

No, the dilapidated barn thingy I saw was not part of the 585 DC property, as there is absolutely nothing visible of that property from the road except for that primitive entry (which I missed all together the first time and you helped me figure out). It was visible way in the back of the second or third vacant property down from 80 MS (which had the second or third FORE Group sale sign in front). I wish I knew how deep those parcels are or if this dilapidated barn thingy belonged to another property with perhaps different access? Not sure. I may have to take another drive...

As for the trailer, there would be no way to see it either if it was at 585 DC. I need a picture of that entry to show you just how bad it is. I did not feel comfortable attempting to even drive down it, like I did at 80 MS, because the drive disappears over a hill and out of sight rather quickly. It's the kind of thing where, if you drove down it and say ran into someone like FD, you would be trapped and really unable to explain why you were there. Does that make sense at all?

Although I am stuck on 80 MS being integral in this crime, I do like this theory about locking her in the trailer at Sturbridge. It would explain why he asked PG if he heard anything (maybe he was concerned she was still alive) and also explain the loud banging the next morning.

The WS site has been very slow and awful recently for posting files but when it is resolved I will post the lot line maps for MS and 585 DC so you can get a sense of the lay of the land and maybe you can help figure it out as I agree with you that this area is critical in some way to this horrific crime.

I keep going back to the most recent FD AW and IMO it was very "UN-FD" like to keep at or below the speed limit the entire way back from NC to Farmington? He has been clocked doing 80mph on 84 and so to see him close to limits was shocking and IMO a DEAD GIVE AWAY THAT SOMETHING WAS UP??? Anyone agree?

Enquiring minds want to know what could have driven a known speed demon and general all around rule breaker like FD to actually comply with traffic posted limits for the ENTIRE trip from NC to Farmington?

Perhaps his compliance on the 24th/missing date was because FD was carrying a murder weapon (or 2), bags of bloody rags, 2 mops, clean up items, JD bloody shirt and clothing and OH YES, FD MIGHT HAVE BEEN CARRYING A BODY! This is what is takes to get FD to follow basic rules and regulations! A few words come to mind: pathetic, sad, typical, predictable and horrible!

Just watched the Dateline trailer and FD/Pattisville are now claiming that JD IS ALIVE! Beyond being disgusted that NBC would televise this drivel from FD/Pattisville I have to be intrigued as to how Pattisville is going to explain to us how someone can lose perhaps 3 liters of blood (avg body I think has 5 liters) and still be alive?

The Pattisville comments about JD being alive that are being used to promote the Dateline special were in very stark and sober contrast IMO to the words coming from the Spokesperson today from the CT State Police who spoke of JD respectfully and only in the past tense. The Spokesperson today said, 'more evidence is yet to come'. I found this statement energizing and encouraging in the face of so much disrespect to the victim being shown still by Pattisville/FD in their latest stunt.

MT IMO is one of the most despicable and amoral crime participants that I have run into on a missing/murder case in quite awhile. I hesitate to use the phrase, "waste of space" but I think if this were in a dictonary you might just see MT's picture there instead of a definition as she is IMO simply that horrible of a human being.

I am still processing how she could have lied continuously to LE for 81 days and just became at best a 'reluctant' witness on 8/13/19. MT wasted LE resources for this entire period while they proved out the lies that she and FD prescripted aka 'alibi notes'. The comments from MT in the latest FD arrest warrant seemed incohert, incomplete and often times implausible.

But, I am going through all the statements she has made and working on trying to put together a MT timeline. I do wonder reading her comments whether she has been sedated or is under doctor care as the statements at times simply make no sense and she sounds like a brainwashed cult member! I do have sympathy for Atty Bowman as what reputable atty wants to be known as the atty that allowed his client to LIE and WASTE LE TIME FOR OVER 2 months? I'm honestly surprised he hasn't shown MT the door!

I was hugely shocked to see that Atty Bowman actually spoke at the MT bail appearance (not sure if it was before or after) but he made the statement about how MT is presumed to be innocent until tried in court by a jury. I'm all for presumed innocent but did Atty Bowman read the arrest warrant and what possible excuse could exist to explain ANY of MT's behavior? I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't advise MT to lie to LE for over 2 months!

Prior to reading the arrest warrant I had a certain degree of respect for Atty Bowman as a professional but why would he allow his client to LIE for over 2 months and why would he be ok with his client LYING TO HIM (assuming he didn't know she was lying to LE)? Baffling why he is staying with her as many attys would drop her life a hot potato IMO. The fact that she stayed on script for FD for over 2 months says alot about her, her relationship with FD as she understood it and what she/her mother think of the US justice system IMO.

My sense is that Mamma MT is guiding MT to lie and prevaricate in order to 'get a better deal'! For my money, I wish MT would listen to Atty Bowman vs her convicted felon mother, but that is just me! Maybe its time for Mamma to head back to Miami and let Atty Bowman do his job! Adios Mamma MT, Vaya Con Dios!

We shall see but MT IMO is no innocent and I am waiting to see if FD put her in charge of any of the damaging clean up duties of this horrific crime and if she offers anything of value to the State.

IMO she should get no deal absent delivering a body and should serve full time for all charges brought and convicted of in a jury trial. She had so many chances and did zero to assist LE.

Don't know the answer to that except LE says they have more so there must be a calculated strategy.

After reading that Arrest Warrant I don't think these guys just fell off the turnip truck (as we say down South).

Among other reasons, NP has a motion to dismiss charges, and Blawie (judge) said that would be discussed at next hearing, which is 9/13. NP has been pressing his case to dismiss on the basis of there being no subsequent charge blahblah blah
Not coincidentally, 10 days before 9/13 Colangelo has to file his response (which he did, short and sweet) but it got overshadowed by the big news of the 2nd arrest-notice the 2nd warrant is dated 9/3 exactly 10 days before the hearing. IMO this is to throw NPs motion to dismiss back in his face.

Let’s see NP whine in court next Friday about how tiny a jab this is and try to get Blawie to dismiss charges...after Blawie signed off on all 43 pages of the warrant...

It’s also likely a time’s-up to MT. The truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth. 3 weeks ago, MT finally started to bend. But IMO she hasn’t broken yet. Murder charges for MT just leapt a whole lot closer with this affidavit (and she looks in court a lot more like she did at her first arrest, rather than during her Ralph Lauren runway court appearances in over the summer.) Maybe now she’ll give up everything she knows, rather than risk that LE also knows what she did and what she didn’t do, to quote a famous line of her own lying lover (FD).

The warrant says the Porsche is “registered to the victim” so it was registered and to JD.
I think that FD panicked on the 31st when he saw on MSM that LE was searching Albany Ave in full force. (I was shocked and impressed to see on TV that day the fire and ambulance and tons of LE were on scene there.) In that panic FD knew he had to get those seats out NOW so he ordered EE to do that right away, and the nice leather Porsche seats were the only thing he had on hand for that. (Still a mystery for sure is how a damaged Cayenne registered to JD was in FDs possession).

When detectives arrived at 4JC on the 31st, EE had just taken the seats out of the Porsche as ordered by FD, and had them in back of the Cherokee. I imagine detectives probably headed straight over to 4JC as soon as FDs name lit up on the police cruiser dash computer when they typed in the doctored plates, as soon as LE pulled them out of the drain that afternoon. Thus arriving to find that PG had just finished taking the seats out of the Porsche.

This is MOO about how/why FD would insist that PG put this kind of seats into his old truck. It was already weird enough to EE that FD had detailed his truck, and in the warrant EE stated he didn’t want to lose his job and just get FD off his back, so he went along with this bizarro plan to put the Porsche seats in.

It is Very Possible that JF herself had Two Different Porsche Cayennes.

It is Very Possible that JF did in fact have an accident in the first one, which totaled the Porsche.

She then could have purchased herself a New Porsche Cayenne and this is the one that is still Registered to JF and was in the garage at 69WL on the day of her murder.

However, I vaguely remember that FO also had a Porsche and I remember thinking they were 'Twinsies' having the same car.

I Vaguely remember that FO was driving a Porsche when he rear ended the person who sued him.

Was this his own Porsche or was he driving JF's Porsche and was this the reason she had to purchase a new one?

It is possible that JF bought FO a Porsche as a suprise gift and this might explain why both Porsche vehicles were in her name?

I didn't think someone could be more callous and deny and lie about facts more than Scott Peterson (staring out into the water where he dumped Laci's body) but FD really takes the cake. The amount of indisputable hard evidence in this case is astounding. Really. And I feel like LE may have some BOMBSHELLS they're going to drop when they finally roll out murder charges. This case is going to roll out like a book, complete with pictures/video the entire way.

I keep thinking about the woods too. It's very common for hunters to have deer cameras in the woods. I think it's even possible they have photos of things we haven't even considered. I live several towns over from NC and although a residential area the deer population has exploded all over this state. I personally know hunters that have 3-4 cameras in rather small tracts of woods. You would never know they were there.

Also, some more affluent towns (Easton is one, nearby) that HIRE private bow hunters to keep the deer population down. They keep it quiet as to not upset animal lovers - but it has to be done. Prior to Easton hiring the hunters I know of one guy who woke up to over *30* deer in his yard. No exaggeration. Hunters put up the cameras to know exactly where to wait.

Such interesting ideas! Didn't know they were doing deer cams locally! So now we have bus cams and deer cams!

It seems like NC is slow on the security cam bandwagons in its parks but I was surprised last month to see motion activated cameras around one of the large reservoirs near NC. It was good to see that the security on the reservoirs is being stepped up IMO.

I'm waiting for a dashcam camera somewhere to have captured FD or MT someplace they cannot explain! The technology on cargo trucks these days is incredible between satellite and multiple dash cams. I wonder if the State reached out to some of the major trucking firms to ask for dashcam from Rt8 and Rt84 on the dates surrounding the JD missing date? How incredible would it be to see dashcam of FD from a random truck just passing through the area!

Once we learned of the Albany Avenue joy ride ,I began to speak about the little people taking FD down. The poor, struggling people in the north end of Hartford.
Now, I am adding the other little people. The little people that ride the school bus everyday. The yellow school bus with video cams!

When I heard the statement made today by the State Police Spokesperson about FD specifically trying to pin this crime on the people of Albany Ave, I thought of both your early statement on this topic and what @thekirbyfamily has said about the area and the people. You were correct!

I thought it was a truthful and bold statement today to be made by a State Official but I am sure they wouldn't have said it unless they had evidence to support it. If FO and HO targeted Albany specifically as is alleged by the State then it was just another shameful act in a long list of other awful shameful acts. I wonder if the NBC Dateline folks will ask FD about why he chose Albany Ave! I would actually tune in to hear an answer to that question for sure!

So I am with you that I hope that any and all people that have been wronged by FD step up and provide testimony to LE, even if its an anonymous tip to the NCPD via the website.

Listening to EEs attorney today was also an eye opener as to how EE is a working carpenter with a wife and 3 small children to support and how this process has been financially devastating to him. So, to see the press knocking on his house front door to 'track him down' was upsetting to watch and it will probably get worse as the trial date becomes a reality at some point. EE knew he was being set up and he did what he could to assist LE and protect his family but EEs atty spoke today about how the avg working person cannot afford an atty to protect them from the likes of FD and Pattisville.

I do wonder how many other people like EE might be out there in FD and MT lives? I hope LE has found enough to put on the stand to convince the jury as to the shady business practices of the FORE Group.
