Its been a bit of a whirlwind today mainly focused on Dateline commentary and some commentary from Pattisville

If you didn't watch Dateline and don't care about it then you can zip through most of the comments

Dateline comments: FD saying "I did not have anything to do with the disappearance of Jennifer", FD saying that he thought he was going to have an amicable divorce, FD saying he handed his phone over willingly to NCPD, FD saying he never fought with JD, FD saying he was blindsided by JD taking the children and moving away etc.

Dateline format allowed for no real followup of FD comments. Some thought it was scripted and useless and there was no news for WS folks while others thought the show was benign and others still thought that Dateline did a half assed job of bringing in the details from latest AW that was dropped as they had probably already finished editing the show IMO. Others thought show should be 2 episodes as it was too compex to cover in 1 show.

People on the threads are coming to terms with the impact of the FD/MT 'alibi scripts' on the reporting we've seen from the Press and how some of these events have crept into the timeline and now need to be removed because they were lies from MT and FD that were repeated by Pattis to the press (mainly DA at HC but other papers as well).

FD allegedly did the Dateline interview against the instructions of Pattis

Much discussion of Dateline 'paying' FD/Pattis for use of pictures which many thought exploited the innocent Dulos children so that FD could make some needed cash

New docs released today in the Civil Case as GF is moving forward with foreclosure on 4Jx

Pattis seems back to the 'Gone Girl' defense and filed in Criminal Court today with another motion to get the JD medical records as he claims she is down to 88 lbs and was potentially either pregnant or quite ill. This of course was printed by Pattisville comrade DA in the HC.

Think thats it for the most part. Its been a long day! Back to the AW time gaps for me!

Would GF's lawyers be able to lock up the house and become the de facto owners of the furnishings once FD has been given a deadline to leave.....or has that already happened?

I believe at a certain point once all the proceedings have happened that the occupant/FD can be evicted by the State Marshall. Wouldn't it be sad if this happened with 5 ft of snow on the ground and a blizzard happening? Reality is this process will take a long time and most likely FD will either do something highly foolish like burning down the house or move IMO!

Incidentally, so far is a list (please add to it) of things NP has said to MSM about MT:
1. She took a lie detector test for the state and passed.
2. She wasn’t in NC on May 24th. And there was no time for FD to drive to NC (seen all on camera) and kill JD and clean up crime scene and dump her vehicle and dispose of body and drive to Farmington bc he had a really good alibi like a call to an attorney and a call to like Greece and a meeting with an employee at 4:00 or so which we know is the EE getting his Tacoma back.
3. She was visiting a friend for lunch and dropping off a purse at another friend’s house who had left it there at 4Jax the night before at a “party.”
4. She knows where FD was on 5/24.
5. She can alibi and account for FDs whereabouts for 5/24 and can do so if the State will just leave her alone and drop the charges. She knows where FD was because she was with FD. Which btw is a direct contradiction to number 3. And slightly different from number 4.
6. MT wept when allowed to come to 4Jax and retrieve some belongings. Expressed confidence in FDs innocence. And that it’s a shame MT and FD must be kept apart and would like to see those crazy kids be allowed to see one another.

LittleBitty must remind all that it is also after #6 was mentioned by NP that NP began floating the GG theory. MTs Attorney files motion in court the next Monday asking that NP and FD have no contact with MT.

7. Now after AW #2 MT is just some jilted lover and EE is just some “handyman.”

I think I got most of it.

A "lying lover" I believe were the exact words. Boy did NP change his tune overnight now that it looks like MT may be cooperating with LE on some level now.

Greetings WS, my first post. I've been fascinated by this case and this thread since May. So many smart, compassionate and inciteful perspectives here.

I noticed a minor but interesting detail in the Dateline interview that I don't think has been mentioned yet. It appears FD is wearing a monogrammed shirt, visible at the 35:13 mark.

When thinking about the timeline, and where he disposed of her body, it's helpful - but also troubling - to keep in mind her t-shirt and bra. These two items remind us that he probably didn't hurry and dump her somewhere right off the bat.
What else did he do? Sickening.

I can't get out of my head what JF said about FD's sick revenge fantasies. Given that we believe this was a premeditated murder, what revenge fantasy (if any) did he engage in here? This was his opportunity to get back at both JF and her mom for the misery he felt they were inflicting upon him (as well as to punish JF for daring to disobey and leave him) and while time constraints might have limited his options, I have this nagging feeling that somewhere - either in the act itself or afterwards (where he put her) - his revenge fantasy was played out. MOO.

When Jennifer left, he had already begun his affair with his co-conspirator, had been going on for a year if I recall correctly-- I guess he thought that his wife would agree to his suggestion that they all live together, and so he was blindsided by her leaving instead of choosing to live with her husband and his paramour? This man is so seriously sick in the head and MT clearly is as well. Two shallow, spoiled, greedy, entitled, lying, arrogant scoundrels. I just cannot wait for the murder one arrest, Dulos is looking more deranged by the hour.

I thought they looked like eyes that had seen something so shocking they could hardly bear to focus now.

Agree, the eyes were interesting IMO. I heard a commentator describe eyes like that as 'dead fish eyes'. I just call it the 'zombie' look that is seen with many tranquilizers and anti anxiety meds.

If I had to guess my suspicion is that MT is still deep in some kind of pity party/mourning for herself and the 'dream gone horribly wrong'. Nothing we have heard leads us to believe that she cared about JD, the 5 Dulos children, or even her own child.

In fact, her focus seemed to be on FD and their 'relationship'. If the relationship was as co-dependent or possibly submissive as I think it most likely was then MT will have been through some dark days since May 24th. But IMO its all about her and all the time so it might take her time to 'see the light' that is so clear as to what is going on in this sad case.

The interviewer made a few 1/2 hearted attempts I thought but was totally rebuffed by FD IMO with 'against the advice of counsel' I can't discuss it further etc. Watching the FD portion again I thought it seemed scripted the same way the Sarah Wallace interview was scripted. Maybe its just me but there was no 'give and take' in the interview at all and for this reason it seemed stilted and unreal.

I really wonder if FD thought he was 'winning' by doing the Dateline interview?

Can FD think he is really fooling anyone?

It is not that easy to be an international fugitive, particularly in a case like this. There is zero chance France would let two non-citizens stay in that country. FD might be able to pull something off in Greece and MT in her home country, and they do have the benefit of knowing other languages. But, and this is a huge but, the FBI and the US Marshal's Office have been involved in this investigation from inception.

In fact, the Marshal's Office was the agency that retrieved the cell phone information (location pings) for local LE. You have heard the phrase,"The Marshal's always get their man" for a reason- because they do. They are the rock stars of fugitive apprehension. FD doesn't stand a chance of successful flight IMO. Even if either of those two could get out of the country, they are coming back in handcuffs and leg chains, I guarantee it!

FD is not going to escape justice, try as he might.

Thanks for this reminder, @oceancalling, the LE team will 'get their man' (plus one) to be sure... Jennifer may have disappeared, but there's no way her killers will be able to. Justice for Jennifer <3

Nah, he wasn't fooling anyone, IMO, and did this interview on MSM in the midst of a serious investigation of him for his wife's murder 'against counsel' just like other men who murdered their wives... he (and other men like this, Scott Peterson comes to mind) wasn't 'winning' anything at all... it's just their vain attempt to try to absolve themselves 'in the media' by trying to continue on to 'work' that they are so 'charming', and 'successful' and 'good looking' and 'just a normal man' who 'women love', thinking they can win people over... They are 'play actors', nothing more, so hollow, IMO.

Foley DooDoo is stepping in his own doodoo, just like other killers who enjoy the limelight of a near and dear person they used to be with's demise putting them in the news. It's grotesque and gross to see that he's obviously enjoying the show (his demeanor is like a child who got into the cookie jar). The attention is on him, as he thinks it should be, but Foley DooDoo, it is not because you're in the least worthy, but for the most depraved, cruel, misogynistic, matricidal, kind of crime anyone would not want to imagine putting their loved ones through. The joke's on you, Doo Doo. Moo Moo.

I can see this idea playing out in a number of ways.

We heard in Family Court that FD was incensed by JD claims that NC was for whatever reason superior to Farmington.

Could this drive him to put her body in Farmington just to be perverse or would he do the opposite and bury her in an unknown location in NC?

I always wondered about the Pound Ridge GF house that was sold over the past few months where FD built a guest house. It appears this house and the adjoining lake were cleared by LE but would FD have placed the body at this location?

Originally I thought the water ski pond or that area would be perfect for revenge fantasy as FD loved it and JD was 'meh' about it! But it looks like this was cleared by LE as well so IDK.

Whatever he did I would guess it to be hate driven and perhaps some place he knew she hated.

Pattisville is again seeking release of JD medical records and is using the 6th amendment as part of its argument to do so. I wonder if GF via her atty's could intervene on the issue of the JD medical records? Or, will the State have to issue a motion on the matter of the records? But how can they request JD records if they are claiming on Dateline that she is ALIVE! Guess there was a disconnect between FD and Pattisville on this comment as the motion says that JD is not here!
