I've thought of this as well. We knew early on that a neighbor handed in their tapes and FD was seen checking the mail. It would only make sense they have more footage, right?

I have thought about this too and they must also have the car swapping with EE too. And they have said they didn't see FD leave the house but maybe they weren't looking for EE's truck at the time that was stated.

In terms of the investigation.... yes, most of, if not all of the evidence we have seen is circustancial. However I wonder about the body. Every second that a body isn't discovered, NP, FD, and the rest of their legal team will dredge up whatever they can to prepare for their defense. I mean it took them over a month to come up with the "Gone Girl" theory. They also questioned the owner of the Tacoma months ago, but he either neglects to tell them about the mysteriously stained seats, or they just waited until recently to serve the warrant? It isn't like they waited to arrest him for murder... They just slammed him with more of the evidence tampering & hindering prosecution charges. I also wonder about MT..... Something is not right there. I am sure she loves FD, but is it really worth losing her daughter for? All of this is IMO. I just feel that something is a bit off with this investigation. Also, this post is aimed to start a discussion! Would love to hear anyones thoughts.

I think this investigation is proceeding in a methodical and professional manner. Murder investigations are complex, and require a huge investment of hard work, determination and sometimes, sheer luck. IMO this is about the best run investigation one could hope to put together. Obviously, my opinion.

Just an FYI - 4JC is the house across from the construction site in the screen shot.

For some reason in Google Maps, FORE shows up next to the house you have circled, but that is not 4JC.

Yes, in retrospect I circled the property next door. That's what I get for going on WS at work.

That being said, the correct house looks like it might be even easier to get to the power lines.

His girlfriend at the time of the disappearance, Michelle Traconis, has also been charged with the same crimes. The biggest one for the public appears to be that Fotis Dulos has not been arrested for the murder of Jennifer Dulos.

The attention the public is paying to the Dulos case and the extraordinary resources law enforcement is devoting to solving it make it more likely that the case will be solved. The passing of each day leads to the inescapable conclusion that the mother of five young children was the victim of a killer.

Fotis Dulos has the right to legal counsel. The right of that legal counsel and others involved in the investigations to speak to the public through the media is broad but not unlimited, as we learned Thursday with news of the court granting a request for a gag order by a state prosecutor. Dulos’ lawyer says he’ll appeal that. The rights guaranteed to each of us can sometimes infuriate most of us when exercised by others. They are the best way to justice.
You would not want it any other way.

I'm hopelessly behind here so apologies for not replying to posts & apologies also if anyone has already said this ---- maybe he took off her clothes to dismember her (*sigh*) & then put her remains in the water in some kind of weighted container which I guess he thinks won't be found. Praying he's wrong.

ps. I don't know about anyone else but this case is really making me profoundly sad

I've always pictured her in a large metal can that he rolled into water which I guess shows a lack of imagination on my part.

Drew Peterson's "disappearance" of his second wife planted that in my mind.

my 6-7 ft. trailer that I can tow a lot even through rough terrain and a 3 ft wide path.

I don’t think they have released his whereabouts prior to Albany have they? I can’t recall and know I should go look at The synopsis of the two warrants by @LittleBitty but don’t want to lose this thought - what if the reservoir was a stop before Albany? And MT was with him? It could be a reason why she has stuck so close to him throughout all this? JMO

I see your point, and that was just my own opinion. I don't believe that it is the NCPD's fault. I just do not personally think that they are equipped with the resources nor experience to tackle this investigation with the amount of force that it needs. Local law enforcement in the area I am sure is making it a priority. But I question the length of the investigation, and after seeing the amount of overtime the officers have worked on the case, I just worry that they are in over their heads. MOO

Far, far more agencies than just the NCPD are involved in this case and have been since Day 1. The FBI and Marshal's Offices are playing huge roles; the Marshal's Office was responsible for the rapid recovery of the cell phone data. All available resources, on the local, state, and federal level are being used. This is not my opinion. This is a fact.

I think the most likely scenario is that he got rid of the body first (before the evidence dump).

Initially, I believed got rid of the body on his way home from the murder. I no longer believe that to be the case though.

You very well may be right. She’s protected him because she knows where the body is, and she helped him in some capacity.

Hopefully tonight’s search is based on her finally coming clean.

Maybe MT and her mother watched Dateline and came to the joint conclusion that FD was going down and she better make her best deal with LE before she ended up named in a Murder Warrant.

She knew bond wouldn't be happening and it might take a couple of years to get to trial. That's a long time in a young daughter's life.

Time to cough up info about a stop at the reservoir on the way to Hartford where MT, of course, sat in the car playing Candy Crush!

It would still be quite light.

On 4/24/19: Hartford sunrise would be 5:23 am and sunset would be 20:12/8:12pm

vs today with sunrise of 6:27 am and sunset of 19:05/7:05pm. Almost an hour later sunset on 4/24 than today!

Another thought occurred to me - we know the raptor was caught on video returning to 4JC after Albany - and FD checked his mail- might that same video also capture his return from switching vehicles and potentially leaving to go to the reservoir before the Albany trip -and they are holding that back for the murder warrant ? JMO

AW1 details the entire afternoon's activity leading up to the Odyssey. Oddly it says FD phone left MS at 3:38 and arrived at 4JC at 4:17. That is odd since only 2 miles between the houses. And then arriving back at MS at 5:21.
AW2: EE arrived at 4JC at 4:30 and FD was not there. EE then drove to MS.
What is going on here that I am missing? These times don't seem to line up. I think maybe FD left phone at 4JC when he went back to MS to meet EE, then those 2 traveled back to 4JC where FD finally got his phone traveling with him again?
It appears AW1 is relying only on phone pings vs surveillance.

FD went on tv to proclaim his innocence, and that very tv appearance led to MT’s full cooperation and the final piece of the puzzle.
